    at last, there is a recovery effort at the marine viaduct on the JB side after months of delay due to the cracks on the segmental girders. it's very important to check for all the defects on all the items delivered to the site in order to minimise the costly delays as part of the strict quality control and assurance. in the next video, you can show us how the workers connect and lock in the girders pieces by pieces after hoisting them up and move the supports for the launching girder from piers to piers.
    i finally get to see the familiar big green crawler crane at 9:30 which is undergoing its assembly. that crane is the zoomlion's 650T crane used in both tbm assembly and retrieval in the putrajaya mrt line project and it is owned by a local dealer called trans elite.

    This video has local focus on the issues and more detailed than 2 videos that often appear on intro panel. One is the sanksunk licker and other is SCM.

    Camparing ECRL and RTS is like comparing 665km rail to 1km rail construction.

    I will say precast columns are likely to be done at nearby yard instead of at KL yard due to practical safety and costs reasons. cannot be travelling for 300 km on the highway that poses safety risks on other road users. It is enough to flatten all vehicles passing by the trailers carrying the precast segments if accidents happen. Look at the crane that flatten the school van at sengkang a few days ago, so scary.
    Like the singapore jurong region line, the precast work is at tengah work site.

      I have actually spoken to the engineer on site, and this was what they told me 😅 I actually asked if they took the precast segment from sunway Yard in iskandar, but he said it was from their yard in KL.

    Very nice video. The MY part seems to be more and more behind schedule. Opening in 2026 is becoming highly unlikely I'm afraid.

      The work speed is actually quite normal. Ground foundation works usually take a longer duration due to unforseen ground conditions. there are still roughly 2 years left until the opening in 2026.

      It is not a competition as the whole project under the same developer/contractor. Lol. It doesn't mean Singaporean part is built by Singaporean government and Malaysian part is built by Malaysian one. No need everything to be KIASU.

    For 3 years,JB residents have to face road jam due this contraction!! Pitty for johorean who want to city or ClQ need longer time rather then normal hours.

  • @afiqaiman3562
    @afiqaiman3562 3 місяці тому

    MBJB,please look at this matter seriously because JB residents are already fed up with this contraction site!! And now from Jalan Terbaru to the city already totally blocked by this contraction site!! But signage given was false!!
