Eventually u can take 2 metro that cross the sea in d future..RTS from SG to JB and then LRT from Mainland Penang to Penang Island.. Imagine u take RTS from SG, then ETS from JB to Butterworth (Penang Mainland) and continue ur journey from Butterworth to Georgetown (Penang Island) via LRT

Jambatan lama keretapi itu bukan dibawah tanggungjawab KTMB lagi. Sekarang ini dibawah tanggungjawab pihak Majlis yang ko sebutkan tadi. Jambatan lama keretapi itu dah takde kaitan dengan KTMB lagi.

at last, a huge progress in the southern region's double-tracking project with most of the alignment completed. the upcoming ETS extension to Segamat commencing on 1 July marks a stepping stone for the EDTP operations in Johor which can be stated in the Segamat chapter. From Segamat onwards, the contractors need to finalise the touch-ups on the electrification as well as the construction works at the Labis railway flyover and Kempas Baru depot. soon, the southern edtp operation can be slowly extended stage by stage from Kluang onwards. most importantly, there will be a direct connection between Padang Besar and Singapore using the latest ETS train service to jb.
Rasanya lepas ni harap2 la landasan KTM ke Pasir Gudang dibuat double track dan elektrifikasi untuk perkhidmatan Komuter Selatan. Senang orang PG dgn Masai dan Seri Alam nak pegi JB x payah hadap jem dan jalan berlubang highway Pasir Gudang.
I strongly agree with proposed elevated ART project in JB because : Time saving : Building elevated road is quicker than LRT tract. Cheaper : Elevated roads aren’t expensive compared LRT rail. Reliable trip & frequency : Self automation, no need to stop at traffic lights, dedicated lanes & no stuck at traffic jams. Clean energy & no pollution : Electric vehicles & self-charge. Previous johor IMBRT proposal is big no no ❌ because the bus still needs to stop at traffic lights + other vehicles might carelessly using that BRT lanes & disrupting bus frequency-arrival times.
Harap lepasni ktm boleh sambung jajaran kl sentral ke melaka tengah jasin muar batu pahat. Sepatutnya bandar melaka pusat pelancongan dapat impak dari kereta api ni untuk menyenangkan pelancong datang ke melaka
Betul tu.. saya yang berasal dari Alor Setar, Kedah pun kagum dengan keunikan dan keindahan station2 baru di Johor dari Segamat sampai di area JB Sentral. Besar kemungkinan tanah sawit tu pemaju dah borong. Macam dekat tempat aku ada stesten erl. Kawasan sekeliling stesen tu asalnya tanah kelapa sawit. Fast forward tahun 2014 baru tahu, rupa-rupanya Sime Darby dah lama beli tanah tu. Sekarang ada plan nak naik perumahan kat situ.

The stations aren't properly integrated with existing infrastructure. Look 3:53. You can spot the Segamat Bus terminal on the right and the overhead bridge that links it with the rest of the town center. But the only way to get there from the train station is a small staircase which is easier to see at 3:57. But not only does it lead to hazardous parking lot for cars and heavy vehicles. Right now that staircase is blocked by a red car because it is still marked as parking lot. Then we see at 3:58, the sheltered walkway in the middle could have been integrated with the existing sidewalk of the roundabout with a slope. Instead the ground is kept raised and the sidewalk is excluded from the station by a wall, fences and guardrails. It is almost like the station was designed to be as inaccessible to pedestrians as humanely possible. Do they expect people to fly to the stations?

Bila siap sepenuhnya dan beroperasi sepenuhnya, ianya sangat permudahkan semua rakyat jelata utk balik kampung tanpa perlu hadap lebuhraya jam, tak perlu lagi bimbang akan kemalangan di jalanraya. Semuanya selamat sampai dan selamat balik ke rumah. Semoga teksi tidak ambil kesempatan naikkan harga tambang dari Station ke destinasi rumah. Nak singgah ke Singapore juga dipermudahkan. Dari 8 jam misalnya dari Ipoh, Perak....hanya sekitar 4 jam setengah misalnya dah boleh tiba di Kastam dan Imigresen Johore. Yang bekerja di Singapore, boleh manfaatkan peluang utk sewa rumah luar dari Johor. Tunggu ECRL Pantai Timur pula utk disiapkan. Jika siap, projek mesra rakyat berjaya dilaksanakan.

Mudahlah student parent yang nak hantar anak balik UiTM Segamat naik tren je, dah tentu takde jam kat Highway PLUS belah Nilai-Seremban. Semoga dengan siapnya tren ETS ni sampai JB mampu menarik lebih ramai pelanggan dan menyakinkan KTMB untuk tambahkan lagi trip Selatan dari 2 trip kepada 4 trip.
The electrified double-track project ETS is the last project initiated by Tun Dr in 2001 from Padang Besar to JB. However, the project was scaled down by Pak Lah only implemented from the KL- Padang Besar. By right, Malaysians could enjoy traveling north to south by train instead of using the North-South Highway (NSH) which is always congested. Today is hard to get an ETS ticket for travel from KL to Penang.
At 2:25 & 3:21 (and many other underpasses)- There should be a height restriction gantry to avoid accidentally hit by reckless vehicles which could interrupt the train operations. See 12:42, there is one height restriction gantry.

Kami warga Pantai Timur, khususnya laluan keretapi dari Gemas ke Tumpat tidak dianaktirikan,,, Harap Kerajaan Madani, Kementerian Pengangkutan & KTMB menyambung serta meneruskan EDTP dari Gemas ke Tumpat kerana bukan semua negeri Pantai Timur khususnya kawasan Pedalaman dapat menaiki ECRL... jadi dgn adenya ETS & KOMUTER laluan Gemas ke Tumpat dpt kami rasai nikmati seperti Pantai Barat...
Boleh…insyallah. Kalau Anwar dan kerajaan Madani di beri peluang untuk terus perintah MAlaysia…..banyak kebaikan akan di lakukan. Jangan beri peluang kpd pembangkang2 yg tak ada idea……cuma nak rosakkan perpaduan kita demi tamak nak berkuasa saja.
Sepatutnya dari kluang harus ditambah landasan komuter unutuk kurangkan kesesakan dan kelambatan servis inter city. Misalan ipoh - kuala lumpur. Sampai di rawang servis inter city terpaksa bergerak perlahan untuk beri laluan kepada tren komuter yang berhenti di semua stesen pinggir bandar.

Ya jika ECRL dah siap nanti. 1 lagi terminal bas baru yang kat Gombak itu bukan dipanggil sebagai TBS tetapi dipanggil sebagai TBG (Terminal Bersepadu Gombak). Laluan tren yang ada di Gombak hanyalah tren LRT Kelana Jaya Line sahaja dan tiada laluan tren KTMB di Gombak.
Imo, I think that they can do a pedestrian or bicycle track on the onld track that has been taken out. And for the old bridge, I am not sure if there could just use it and add a walking/cycling lane on top of it and just use the old foundation as it is. I know my idea will never be considered as we never bridge out another public transportation between the station to the city/ resedential streets.
hopefully the KTMB can do better on the maintenance of the station . Look at those existing ktmb station across the nation. Lift not working, station dirty, long Q, chaos.. not enough seat ....etc.... world class station, but no class maintenance.
Memang pun macam tu. Stesen ETS akan mula beroperasi dari Utara Johor sehinggalah ke Johor Bahru. Akan tetapi, kawasan Kempas Baru tu banyak juga ye kena siapkan dari segi pembinaan jejambat jalan raya, Depoh EMU & sebagainya
harap akan datang ad jugak kereta api di muar batu pahat pecah laluan untuk muar dan batu pahat tak lupa jugak pontian berjumpa balik di kempas baharu cadangan sahaja harap di pertimbangkan

This is a result of probably short term thinking and thoughtlessness. It resulted in this irresponsible and uncivilised act. KTMB (or somebody) should put an end to this.

Bus station not under their charge. So they have no jurisdiction to build a shelter all the way there.

Mudahlah student parent yang nak hantar anak balik UiTM Segamat naik tren je, dah tentu takde jam kat Highway PLUS belah Nilai-Seremban. Semoga dengan siapnya tren ETS ni sampai JB mampu menarik lebih ramai pelanggan dan menyakinkan KTMB untuk tambahkan lagi trip Selatan dari 2 trip kepada 4 trip.
The electrified double-track project ETS is the last project initiated by Tun Dr in 2001 from Padang Besar to JB. However, the project was scaled down by Pak Lah only implemented from the KL- Padang Besar. By right, Malaysians could enjoy traveling north to south by train instead of using the North-South Highway (NSH) which is always congested.
Today is hard to get an ETS ticket for travel from KL to Penang.
At 2:25 & 3:21 (and many other underpasses)- There should be a height restriction gantry to avoid accidentally hit by reckless vehicles which could interrupt the train operations. See 12:42, there is one height restriction gantry.

Diharapkan di masa hadapan, KTM boleh me wujudkan jajaran komuter di sepanjang Laluan ktmb dari utara sehingga ke selatan. Kini, Laluan komuter boleh diakses dari padang besar - penang, Penang - ipoh, tg malim - Rawang, rawang - kl, mungkin selepas ini boleh sampai ke jb.. Boleh santai2 dari utara ke selatan, banyak bandar-bandar boleh dilawati sepanjang jajaran ini.

Kami warga Pantai Timur, khususnya laluan keretapi dari Gemas ke Tumpat tidak dianaktirikan,,, Harap Kerajaan Madani, Kementerian Pengangkutan & KTMB menyambung serta meneruskan EDTP dari Gemas ke Tumpat kerana bukan semua negeri Pantai Timur khususnya kawasan Pedalaman dapat menaiki ECRL... jadi dgn adenya ETS & KOMUTER laluan Gemas ke Tumpat dpt kami rasai nikmati seperti Pantai Barat...
Boleh…insyallah. Kalau Anwar dan kerajaan Madani di beri peluang untuk terus perintah MAlaysia…..banyak kebaikan akan di lakukan. Jangan beri peluang kpd pembangkang2 yg tak ada idea……cuma nak rosakkan perpaduan kita demi tamak nak berkuasa saja.

Pembangunan kawasan depot tren.
Sepatutnya dari kluang harus ditambah landasan komuter unutuk kurangkan kesesakan dan kelambatan servis inter city. Misalan ipoh - kuala lumpur. Sampai di rawang servis inter city terpaksa bergerak perlahan untuk beri laluan kepada tren komuter yang berhenti di semua stesen pinggir bandar.
kannnn. mungkin kalo ade ETS and atau train laju yg nk overtake kommuter/intercity, akan stop di Paloh yg ade lebih platform bagi lalu dulu.

Hope ade plan rangkaian train KTM sambung direct kepada new TBS station yg dekat Gombak tu, yg mana ada rangkaian train ECRL.
Ya jika ECRL dah siap nanti. 1 lagi terminal bas baru yang kat Gombak itu bukan dipanggil sebagai TBS tetapi dipanggil sebagai TBG (Terminal Bersepadu Gombak). Laluan tren yang ada di Gombak hanyalah tren LRT Kelana Jaya Line sahaja dan tiada laluan tren KTMB di Gombak.
Mungkin boleh dibina Terminal Bersepadu (ITT) di Serendah yang menjadi penghubung antara rangkaian ECRL & ETS(KTMB).
Imo, I think that they can do a pedestrian or bicycle track on the onld track that has been taken out. And for the old bridge, I am not sure if there could just use it and add a walking/cycling lane on top of it and just use the old foundation as it is. I know my idea will never be considered as we never bridge out another public transportation between the station to the city/ resedential streets.

hopefully the KTMB can do better on the maintenance of the station . Look at those existing ktmb station across the nation. Lift not working, station dirty, long Q, chaos.. not enough seat ....etc....

Memang pun macam tu. Stesen ETS akan mula beroperasi dari Utara Johor sehinggalah ke Johor Bahru.
Akan tetapi, kawasan Kempas Baru tu banyak juga ye kena siapkan dari segi pembinaan jejambat jalan raya, Depoh EMU & sebagainya
harap akan datang ad jugak kereta api di muar batu pahat pecah laluan untuk muar dan batu pahat tak lupa jugak pontian berjumpa balik di kempas baharu cadangan sahaja harap di pertimbangkan

Laluan KTMB ni adalah laluan daripada zaman kolonial British (FMSR)
Segamat boleh dihubungkan ke pantai timur melalui Gemas.

As a Singaporean who had relatives living around Gemas, i'm surprised it took them this long when Gemas to Padang Besar had already completed almost a decade ago. What happened?
We can't really compare to that time as we know COVID is one of the biggest reasons.
Malaysia's government always prioritise Klang Valley & Northern Region. After that Sabah Sarawak, then the Southern Region and lastly East Coast. East Coast always get the worst treatment 😂

Stesen itu dikira sebagai status simpanan. Jika ada permintaan tinggi barulah kerajaan akan buat perancangan untuk bina stesen Senai itu.
Build a new station at Senai. And have a shuttle bus from the airport to the station. And serve the commuter to the city centre.

Komuter bukan untuk perkhidmatan tren jarak jauh mcm tren Intercity dan konsepnya sama mcm MRT dan LRT. Kalo dari JB Sentral ke Utara seperti Butterworth dan Padang Besar boleh aje naik tren ETS.
