Thank you for sharing the sunrise here on UA-cam as there are many of us I'm sure that are not on Instagram... Really appreciate it❤
No Instagram for me either.
Yes!!
I love how you are so loving with your animals. Speaks volumns about your nature!
I was raised in a farming community and now live in the city. Your sunrise made me cry. Reminding me of the peace you are blessed with when looking out over Gods creation.
The morning sunshine spilling into your living room is stunning 🤍
My mom's favorite flower is pansies. Her grandfather used to plant a bed of them just for her in his flower garden when she was a little girl.
CHELSEA!!!❤ What a beautiful soul you have!!! I adored the sun rise soo much!!!❤ Also I LOVE your shirt!!! 😁 I am always excited when I see your videos pop up. Thank you for sharing with us!❤ much love from Missouri!!🥰
Beautiful sunrise! I make all my labels before sowing the seeds so that I can stick them in right away. Happy gardening!
I don’t know if it was the sunshine through the window or just your joy at starting the 24 gardening season, but your enthusiasm and happiness just radiated a glow. The El Niño weather pattern has me chomping at the bit for spring in the upper Midwest in the states.
@1:11 funny dog story . I gave a GT pyr / White Ger Shep mix pup to a lady with critters . Same as You , get up , let them out , open gates . This female pup @ 7 months , with Zero training , got up & did it all herself , on her own . Not surprised , the mom's nick name was Houdini ( 1/2 & 1/2 ) the dad was 100% pyr. . The pup was my dogs sister , he was so smart , he would do complex tricks the first time , they seem to know English . He could un clasp his chain & go running !! Any lock had to be complex or have a 2nt Nut & bolt or ??? to keep him from working any kind of latch / lock .The pure Pyr , for the most part , " don't like TRICKS " . They know what you are asking , they would say .. if you want the stick so bad , why did you throw it away ... that is not their job !!
❤😂
If your not a big fan of fennel try some bronze fennel. No bulb to eat, is not as strong flavored, and it's a perennial. It's tall and a beautiful chocolate brown color. You eat the fennel fronds. Let the seeds dry and collect for adding to your herb collection. As well as drying the fronds. We love it on pizza!
They attract pollinators and swallow tail butterflies. The caterpillars eat the fennel and then make their cacoons on them. Super fun to watch with our kids.
While you were planting the seeds, the big bright green plant in your living room was hogging all my attention. It worked it's magic and I had to smile at how much it stood out from everything else - gorgeous sight. You need more!!! LOL I need to make that oatmeal bake as it would be loved by everyone here. Thanks for the sunrise - we just have gloom right now.
as a European child living in Aiustralia I miss the snow and love watching you walk outside and hearing the snow squeaking under you feet ... love you content regards from sunny Australia ....
I once went to a local farm store (where I used to work) and Menards looking for a china marker. No one knew what it was! I did locate the empty peg at the farm store, but gave up at Menards. I wanted white, so I ordered very reasonably from Amazon.😊. When I do my 288 trays, I often mark the end of the full tray (or cut strips of smaller batches) with china markers to be more durable when watering. Since they’re black, the white shows up well.
Chelsea ,I absolutely love how you started this video! More awesome creative content by LMR Love & Respect from Northern BC.
Thanks for sharing your life and your family and ideas with us all! Funsville!😊
It's so fun to hang out with you guys!
I love the language differences we have. I sow seeds and plant plants, I don't plant seeds :-) I love the reused and repurposed tags. I cut up plastic cups my brother got me, previously used (drinks machine) from his work. I use them as pots first and if they break I cut them up for tags. I've sowed mainly brassicas and lettuce so far. This week is pepper and pea sowing week.
Soooo funny….those sheep mama’s-to-be have sure become more “tuned-in” and attentive to what you are doing & just may have in your hands. I can’t believe the difference in their behavior in just the couple,of days since you started giving them that tiny amount of grain.😍.
It is pretty amazing!
Such a beautiful place you have to wake up to each morning!❤️
Loved the silent opening !!
Trying this now! I’m using a jar of peach pie filling for my fruit layer and some vanilla sugar I had made! Smells amazing so far!! Plan is to eat half and freeze dry the rest for later❤️
I loved the sunrise. I do not do Instagram so it is very appreciated
We had sheep that we sold the wool from and no problem with them not having covers on the sheep. I didn't spin or weave but my good neighbor did and I helped her numerous times to wash the wool before carding it. I am a seamstress so we often exchange finished items.
OH MY… what a beautiful video !
The early morning quiet while starting the fire.. then as the sun came up and filled your beautiful home…. What could be better!
Thank you Chelsea, I just had a knee revision replacement and got home from the hospital and saw your post… can I just tell you I really REALLY love seeing all the things you do with your animals .. it brings ME so much peace to watch you and the love you have for all of your live stock… you are in paradise and I’m grateful you are sharing it with us… these will help me keep my spirits up…
Do u ever video any of the cows or sheep, or horses birthing?
Just wondering I would think that would be amazing to watch!
Have a beautiful week, I so appreciate you and your kind soft voice you are teaching me so much about EVERYTHING…sending big hugs to you and your darling animals🌞🐄🐑
A few days ago I planted my pansy and viola seeds. I love to see their beautiful little "faces" in the garden. I have not cooked any recipes with fennel but I do plant a couple as the Black Swallowtail butterfly lays her eggs on the fronds (dill also).
Your living room looks so bright and inviting. It will be so exciting to see the little lambs!
We haven't got hardly any eggs yet so the grandies are not searching everywhere in the barn or something has been eating or stealing them. Blessings. I love sunrise 🌄, nothing today, cloudy after a loud thunderstorm. Thanks.
The sunrise was beautiful
Sunrise was beautiful and loving your reset on the living room😊
I can't wait for those babies!
Love this video! Especially the relaxing and quiet start ❤
Might be nice with a tiny splash of almond extract instead of vanilla?
Beautiful sunrise
The sunrise was beautiful. I'm not much of a plain oatmeal fan but the peach baked looks delicious so will try. Excited for growing season as well. Hope the new additions will arrive soon. Thank you for sharing.
I've found alyssum to have similar cold tolerance as pansies. Have you tried direct sowing them? I use them as a weed suppressant and sprinkle liberally through the garden.
Also I highly recommend using fennel in soup broths; it adds a lovely sweet depth especially with anything seafood.
I tried your baked oatmeal recipe today but I used 3 cups of apples - that my hubby peeled for me - and I added 2 cups of diced rhubarb. I live in New Zealand and our summer is starting to fade into autumn and we have a glut of rhubarb. I used 1/2 cup white sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar and i have to say that this is the BEST baked oatmeal i have ever made! This will definitely be a staple in our diet from now on. Thank you for so generously sharing so many great recipes. I only tried this because i saw how it turned out for you. God bless 🙏❤
Chelsea, I made a batch of your baked oatmeal today!! OH MY WORD!! It's fabulous! I didn't have any more canned peaches, so I used a jar of Spiced pears. Yummmm. My son loved it, as well as my husband. I cut up leftovers, put in separate containers to heat up for future breakfasts or snacks. 😅 Thanks for sharing g the recipe,
Also, try pickling the kohlrabi with some onion. So so good!
Beautiful sunrise, yummy baking & sweet sheep, puppy & kitty! Thanks for taking us along! I love the views through your windows! Blessings 🤗🇨🇦
Thanks for sharing your instagram short, it was gorgeous!
The lounge room is looking fabulous !
Beautiful sunrise! Thank you Chelsea! They will be so friendly by th end of winter! Blessings!
Beautiful sunrise ❤❤❤❤
You have the sweetest cats!
Beautiful sun raise
That sunrise is beautiful 😍
You need trail cam..for sheeps and cows birthing.
Loved the sunrise
Love your shoes, they look warm and comfy. Beautiful sunrise.
Loved every second! Prayers for those mommas!!! Babies r on their way!❤❤
Thank you for sharing the sunrise...beautiful
Such a beautiful sunrise thank you! Celeriac is a good soup veg, celeriac and apple soup is scrumptious 🙂
I love the early morning shots- Where does Mable sleep at night?
How exciting!!! Time for seeds 😱😱😱
What a pick-me-up! Gorgeous sunrise and starting seeds. Gives you hope all over! Btw, it will be a big relief to push back the trees a little bit. Good plan. Last summer was pretty scary. We're down near White Rock. Big cedars hang over our roof in a residential area, and even I was getting pretty nervous by the end of it. PS is there any likelihood of bears / mountain lions / moose encounters on your early morning walks to the barn? Take care.
Sweet sunrise
I have better germination with perennials if I stratify the seeds before planting. I have some in the frig now.
How long do you stratify?
I made the one with the cherries and chocolate chips when you posted it last, and it was amazing!
You are one one busy lady
What time do you get up and go to bed? It amazes me that you can cook so many meals that your entire family will eat. We have picky eaters in this house (autism doesn’t help) so I have to pick and choose carefully what I cook. Love your channel.
Got up at 5 am today so am totally relating to see you at the crack of dawn🤗❣️just took my two dogs out for their potty break! Love the sounds of the animals🥰❣️Just bought seeds & am so grateful for your tips🥰
I am a lot more north than you and I have to grow a number of things in a greenhouse. I find fennel is good at deterring aphids so I will grow it for that alone and have it in pots in the greenhouse.
Thanks so much for sharing yet another good video... know that a lot of time goes into each one...much appreciated 👍❤️
Thank you so much!
You work so hard, your an inspiration. Got seed from True Leaf they were very fast, just info.
Learned my lesson about celery last spring. The seeds were so small I figured I’d have terrible germ rates, and boy was I wrong. I ended up with about 60 celery plants instead of 6🤣
I love to plant pansy’s but our deer love them also {live in Washington state
I love how u treat your sheep and animals that sunset was priceless yah Chelsea first seeds for 2024
What a gorgeous view to the east! Thank you for showing!
Hey chelsea, just watched your video. You said you were out of brown sugar. I don't know if you're aware of this you can make brown sugar. If you have regular sugar and molasses you have brown sugar. Just add some molasses to your sugar and mix it real good and voila. You never have to be out of brown sugar.
Fennel is good to add to your meat recipe.
Very true not all is on instagram
Enjoyed the video 😊
Yay!! Seed starting time. Isn't it so wonderful?!
Seed starting!! So exciting 🥰 are you still milking your cow? Would love to see your current routine for home dairy 🥰 we just got our first milk cow last week!
We are, yes and I’ll share again soon.
I've noticed your crocheted slippers that you wear in several videos now and I love them! Did someone make those for you or can they be bought?
Same! I need these slippers in my life 😁
I love oatmeal I don’t know why I don’t have it more. Never had baked but I know what I’m having tomorrow. Have peaches In the fridge that need to be used up.
Perfect! Let me know what you think!
Oh forgot just love your view. Nala how sweet. ? Do you feed her? Was that livestock guardian dog? Glad I found your channel
Just did my stock fire wood chores it may rain soon want to stay warm !!
Beautiful sunrise the sheep look like they are going to give birth any day
Hurray!! I was waiting to see when you would start seeds....we are the same zone and I'm itching to get started! I really enjoyed your sunrise clip, Thank you.
Love this!
Aww beautiful
Loved the sun set
Oatmeal look delicious ❤❤❤❤
Wonderful video!! I’ve been wondering, what is your last frost date? I live in SW Montana and our climates seem very similar!
I’ve been starting mine also 🎉
Hello Chelsea.
What kind of sage did you plant? I had poor germination last year and my current surviving plant doesn’t look great 😢
The worry about the dirt on the wool is really only if you hope for a good selling price…
If you process yourself or give the wool to good friends, the pride of self raised product can override the worry of having a perfectly clean fleece. The smaller the production circle, the easier it is to raise and achieve healthy animal products.
I love that, thank you.
Thank you for your amazing vlogs. I am glued to your seed planting as I want to do more this year. One question, you recommend using fresh seeds, what do you do with leftover seeds? 💙
В России есть способ посева очень мелких семян( земляника, сельдерей, душистый табак...): на землю
укладывают слой снега и уже на него равномерно рассыпают семена - и их хорошо видно!
For your music on the sunrise please play Canadian Sunset? Thanks much!
Beautiful sunrise but the clouds look ominous. Did it snow? “Red sky in the morning , sailors take warning! “
It did the next day!
Try sour cherry and almond with almond extract. Yummy!
On the subject of celeriac... have you ever tried pickling ? My German gramdmothers favorite after pickled pumpkin.
Hi Lovely, could you tell me were you bought the loaf pan you are baking the oatmeal in. Xx
❤❤❤
The rabbit in background of sheep at end looked pretty big for cotton tail, or do you have some yard rabbits? lol
Hi, Chelsea - beautiful sunrise. I’m not on Instagram. What time is this, please?
Between 5:45 and 6:30 if I remember correctly.
I LOVE your slippers!! What are they?
Padraig 😊
If you have molasses, make your own brown sugar.
Wondering if you will be selling the printed spiral bound version of the planner?
I will towards the end of this year, for next year, but for now just the printable version.
Do you have the shirt with "Live long the seed" for sale?
May I ask, are your dogs at night outside too? Thanks!
How far is it from your place to downtown ?
