Watching you cook, Chelsea, is like watching my mom and grandma cook. By site and taste when cooking meals and using a recipe when baking (mostly). Same with how you are in the garden. You make me smile and remember, treasuring those memories so much. Thank you.
Very impressive that you have 4 different recipes in progress at the same time. If it was me I'm sure I would be getting the wrong ingredients in the wrong recipe. I love to watch you cook
Goodness I am so exhausted after all that cooking and baking. So I’m making myself a cup of tea, putting my feet up and so proud of your accomplishments for the day! ❤
You are a supreme mulitasker in the kitchen. You have inspired me to prep more on the weekends for the week and get my meals planned and locked in. I agree with you...dinner in process in the morning or night before a day when I am working is the way to go for the family. Love watching!
This episode was so good ! Top 5 reasons I loved it : Chelsea is so relatable even though she’s such a professional! Multitasking- WOW ! Editing - showed us more of what we needed to know and the end results was what we came here for 🤌 Great recipes ! Even with the sugar & butter it made me love it even more. Love Chelsea’s measurements method. Here for it ! 🙌🏻
WOW. That was a remarkable labor of love for your family. Fun to watch and at the same time ... exhausting! lol Thank you for sharing the wonderful recipes.
That was so good cooking I couldn’t be that organised I have such a tiny kitchen but they all looked amazing Chelsea your family lucky to have u as a mum with all that fantastic cooking Is
Love the way you can make 2 to 3 different things in a matter of time and don't get the ingredients mixed up fir each recipe. Enjoy your week. God's blessings
I was going back and watching some of your first videos on UA-cam. I can see how you have matured over the last 5-6 years. You now exude a peace and confidence that is beautiful. Thank you for your videos!
Thank you for baking and cooking the way many of us do at home! Since there is never enough time in a day and I do a ton of cooking from scratch, I definitely don't enjoy videos where they get out a scale to measure ingredients. I'm glad those channels exist for people who crave precision; I'm just much happier watching videos with intuitive cooking! Keep up the good work!
You make me smile watching you add a teaspoon of this and 2 tablespoons of that, and not a measuring spoon in sight lol. Just like my Grandma. I must admit I'm like that when making white sauces for instance, just a dollop of butter, flour till "it looks right ", add milk etc etc My kids wanted me to write down my recipes and it was so hard cos I don't really measure, unless making something like hollandaise sauce. 😂😂
To warm butter quickly, take a jar or glass that is large enough to cover the wrapped chunk of butter and fill it with hot water for one minute - enough time to war the jar thoroughly. Drain the glass and place it over the butter and leave for a few minutes. Like magic the butter will be warm enough to be room temp malleable in no time.
You cook like me by site smell taste and feel. When i do use a new recipe i follow it and make sure i measure to see how it tastes when done then after that i go wild and make it my and my family's taste.
The days I get everything prepared in the morning are less stressful. I also get everything out I’m going to need and get started. It’s sometimes a bigger mess to clean up but the evenings are smooth. I love watching your videos!!
I remember my mother saying, Oh I got up early today and got so much done meaning her cooking. She baked her bread also and after I was on my own I got used to making my bread too. People would love it when I gave away loaves as Christmas gifts . Now I cook with organic foods and love how you buy a lot of ingredients wholesale and large bags of things you use alot of. God bless you and your family.
I got dinner done by 9am. lol I agree its just so much nicer to have it prepped and out of the way. I then canned up some stuff, did a bunch of eggplants for the freezer, got cabbage in the dehydrator and now I'm just chilling. One kid has a concert tonight so I don't need to worry about anything but that.
I realky enjoy your baking and all. The use of the hand to measure is what I learned at home. Works fine as one can see and feel the often used measurements. I do wonder what a pedometer would show as you flit all around that kitchen. It's such a warm and homey place to work in.
I cook just like you. My Daughter-In-Law called me a couple of months ago as she wanted the recipe for my chicken and sweetcorn soup. Erm... yes. Dashes, pinches, a glug, palm full... taste it lol
When I make chocolate chip cookies, I will mix up the dough, roll them into balls and put them on a cookie sheet and freeze them. Once frozen, I put them in a baggie and only bake what I need for a few days. When the kids were home, I would quadruple my regular recipe and it was nice to just be able to get the cookie balls out of the freezer and pop them into the oven. No need to thaw them, they will spread out nicely when baking
You go back and forth between those recipes without missing a beat. Amazing! I would have poured that streusel toping into the granola mix or vice versa.Your brain must go a hundred miles an hour. :) Love your videos!
I love watching you cook the way you measure reminds me of watching my Mom and Dad cook My Mom owned a restaurant when I was in high school and college and that was how she measured ingredients at the restaurant.
Good evening from the UK. I am loving watching your videos. I came across your channel whilst in hospital for 3 weeks. So many I can watch whilst I am off work recuperating. I am a school chef and a general foodie, i love cooking and creating new meals or adapting a recipe to suit our likes. I have been tasked by my daughter to write up recipes while I am off as I am very good at listing ingredients but also not quantities or even methods lol X
Just a thought, your cookbook cover has beautiful graphics and colors, if there was a copy in the center of your rehung white shelf on a nice book stand it would really compliment that wall in your videos.
I just love watching you in the kitchen and garden. I used to can when I was younger. But made Jam and Chili this year with help from my daughter. Felt great
Ha! I kept telling you “Chelsea you’re overfilling those muffin tins”! And they came out beautifully😊! Also thanks for the tip on chilling the cookie dough. Peace-
I make those granola bars every week, we love them! They work great with any other nut as well, we currently have chopped peanuts in ours, next week will be pecans, just using what we have instead of having to go out and buy things we've run out of. also works great with any dried fruit, or no dried fruit! love them.
Hi Chelsea! I absolutely enjoy your videos and I make some chewy chocolate chip cookies and I’m not sure if you knew, but I use bread flour for that chewy texture! I follow the brooklyn farm girl recipe and and of course add my own special touches to make the recipe unique! Just thought I would share in case you wanted to try it out! My cookies are always a hit at get togethers and dinners.
Love the channel, you and your husband are living my retirement! My daughter-in-law bought me measuring spoons, she needed a bit more clarity than a pinch of this and enough till it tastes just right as directions for my recipes. Go figure! If you have any secrets to hard boiling eggs to where they peel relatively consistently that I get an egg and not a mangled mess, I truly would appreciate it. Merci
Hi. You must have been reading my mind because I was just thinking about an island in your kitchen and then thought no wonder she is lovely and slim with all that walking she does. Just happened upon your channel and subscribed and happy to hear you are from BC. I loved your recipes and you are one of the few people I have seen cook mince for a couple of hours or more. So many people cook it in under 30 mins but my mother always told me to cook long and slow, whether it be a roast or mince (sorry, ground beef your end). Look forward to catching up on some of your other videos. Thank you for this upload.
Didn't catch how much butter you put in the Oatmeal cookies. It was not soft you walked away to melt some not sure how much. Thanks you are who I love to watch every time you have a video. You are awesome.
Fantastic baking & cooking! Thanks for sharing! I love how you measure, somewhat like I do (I guess it comes with many years of being in the kitchen). Blessings to everyone 🤗💕🇨🇦
I've never been one to not measure out items for baking and pack the brown sugar! I was taught you need correct measures for baking but guess eyeballing it works too! 😄
All your goodies looked delicious, but I would have to omit the nuts since I'm allergic to tree nuts. The spaghetti sauce looked yummy too. Thanks for sharing!
I watch you canning all this food and using it so many ways! I understand you live in a colder climate. We live in Northern Colorado and I can't seem to grow winter squash or pumpkins. What is your secret to growing so many different things? I love to garden and can all of it, but end up buying tomatoes, and winter squash! Thank you for any information you could give me!
It's nice to see someone who multitasks while baking as much as I do.
Watching you cook, Chelsea, is like watching my mom and grandma cook. By site and taste when cooking meals and using a recipe when baking (mostly). Same with how you are in the garden. You make me smile and remember, treasuring those memories so much. Thank you.
Chelsea, you are like a well tuned orchestra in the kitchen! I can't even imagine but really enjoy watching you.
Very impressive that you have 4 different recipes in progress at the same time. If it was me I'm sure I would be getting the wrong ingredients in the wrong recipe. I love to watch you cook

I used to cook dinner in the morning, my husband worked nights, and the boys had activities, made life so less stressful.

Amen to your type of cooking.
beautiful baking! it all looks so good, wonderful bread and nice dinner of spaghetti. What an accomplishment~~!
💚 Yum, yum, yum!💚
You're a Joy to watch and baking is just an added WOW!...
Oh you always inspire me to bet back doing something. Everything is so Fall food and perfect. hugs

Wow, frighteningly efficient! I would be putting the wrong ingredients in the wrong recipes! You go girl!!!❤
You're a joy to watch.
Chelsea your kitchen is really looking wonderful with all the white appliances. It would be even brighter if all the cabinets were white.
Very productive day. Everything looks delicious,
Oh thank goodness. I am having a down sort of day and this is my sunshine. Thanks Chelsea
You cook like me by site smell taste and feel. When i do use a new recipe i follow it and make sure i measure to see how it tastes when done then after that i go wild and make it my and my family's taste.
Everything looks delicious ! Thanks for the great video!
I find using an instant pot for hard boiling eggs yields perfectly peeled eggs . 5 min on high pressure , 5 min rest & 5 min in cold water .
The days I get everything prepared in the morning are less stressful. I also get everything out I’m going to need and get started. It’s sometimes a bigger mess to clean up but the evenings are smooth. I love watching your videos!!

You definitely should have an ice cream scoop to fill up your muffin tin, they sell different sizes. Love yr vlogs thank you. ❤
How funny, I keep wanting to reach in the video and wipe the flour off your mixer into the bowl 😂😂

Wow you bake and cook a lot! Wow
You are a inspiration from country Vic Australia

It does, which can make relaxing a challenge sometimes. lol
you are one busy woman, you multitask so well..I don't know how you do it!!
I purchase extra measuring cups and keep them in the bins of flour, sugar, etc.
I love watching you cook the way you measure reminds me of watching my Mom and Dad cook My Mom owned a restaurant when I was in high school and college and that was how she measured ingredients at the restaurant.
That was a lot of work and highly productive exercise! Looks like it's time for a cup of tea.

So good!
3 teaspoons is a tablespoon of yeast btw. ;) I have the exact same mixer!
I make my dinner in the morning. I never have the energy at night. I also measure the way you do. I however will not be putting pepper in ant thing.
I just love watching you in the kitchen! ❤

Hi Chelsea. Great video. Thanks for sharing. How long did you bake the bread for? And at what temp? Thanks 😊
After thawing a liquid in zip lock bag, instead of opening the top,cut a piece off the bottom. Then nothing is left behind in the closer part.
A really good job everything looks yummmmmmy 🇨🇦
Great video. Giving me ideas
The cookies, muffins and bars look so good Chelsea. Made me hungry.
Chelsea do you have a recipe for your cookies please? x
Wow that's beautiful
WOW...talk about multi tasking....4 loaves oven temp? How long? Thanks for sharing.
I love Your videos
