Thanks for this video. I followed it step by step after having problems with ink blockage. Managed to give everything a good clean and it is printing fine now. Many thanks.
Thanks very much for this video, I used it to figure out how to remove the printhead on my WF-3820 and everything was identical. Except for one little issue. After puling everything out, I discovered a small black clip in the carriage. It's about 1/2" long and has a peg on one side with three smaller peg that look like a clip on the other side. Any idea where it goes?
Great video. The black ink wouldn't work on mine at all. I had it all apart and used carb cleaner on the nozzles (probably not recommended) but it worked!
Hi nice video, can you tell me what you call the piece with the BK C M Y label on it ? I broke the plastic tabs that secure it and need to order a new one!
This video is just instructions on removing and reinstalling the printhead. I will try to make a video of the cleaning process in a future video. Thank you for the suggestion.
I used this as a basic guide for my WF-3520. It is a little different and I never did figure out how to remove the lid, so I just broke off the ears. The rest was similar but not exact, though I did figure it out and was able to clean the head.
Hello I have the wf 3730 I converted to sublimation it had printed out two nozzle checks fine then I began to print the picture that I was going to sublimate and it printed very light you had to put it right in front of your face to be able to see it ? By any chance do you know what it might be ? Also now I do the nozzle checks and it’s printing but when the picture comes it’s blank without ink
Hello. I have not worked with a sublimation converter printer, but if you get a perfect nozzle check pattern, and the picture is barely visible, then my only thought would be that the settings on the computer are not correct. Check the settings on the program you are using and see if anything is set off, such as quality.
Followed the guide and removed, cleaned and reinstalled print head. A test print yielded good results but a few days later the printer just says error 031006. Googling doesn't seem to find any solid idea on the specific problem. Any ideas?
Mine is stuck in a 000044 error. Because of the error code, I can't get to settings to tell it I want to change the ink. And the head is way over on the left.
I thought I was going to have to disassemble the entire printer. This is amazing. Thank you!

Good work!!! Thanks for the feedback. Happy New Year!

WHEN do you actually clean a print head in any of these videos???

Any hint if the remove/replacement strategy works with a WF 3520, too?

Hi, my printer WF3720 display an error code 000103, what would the problem be?

There is a MUCH EASIER way to clean the heads instead of a very risky dismantling it like this .
Yes, we point out a manual cleaning technique in another video. Thank you for the feedback. Have a great day!
