Thank you for posting this, my xp-247 had NO black output at all, after trying 3 cartridges and many attempts at the head cleaning function. It's now fully working, this whole process was so quick an easy.

Di recente al lavoro siamo stati contattati da un cliente a circa 4 ore di viaggio da noi, che ha installato un nuovo toner giallo su una Brother MFC-L9577CDW, il toner non è stato riconosciuto come nuovo, probabilmente non ha "sentito" l'attuazione del sensore ottico di nuovo toner, fargli smontare la cartuccia e resettare la posizione dell'ingranaggio per telefono ovviamente non era un'opzione, ho trovato quel video sulla procedura di reset con i tasti X e Indietro e glie l'ho fatta fare. Cliente contento e non abbiamo perso una giornata di viaggio per andare lì 🤣

alcohol does not c,lean very well the water based inks

So. Distilled warm water should be the suitable thing to clean??
@@jakotelsa Alcohol is harsh, there is the risk that it could damage the print-head however water it's better to dissolve water based dried inks
@@viandant5 thanks a lot. i have been using a mix of 50% isopropyl alcohol and 50% warm distilled water for years and still no damage to HP cartdrige printing heads. I Will use just distilled warm water since now
is there any saving for a printer that has not been used for 4 years? with this method
if the print-head was in its position on the right it could work
hi i did as you said im having biggest issue with the black only because some lines ar missing not much but i cleaned it before for a week with ink cleaner and the black cant be exactly good on test what to do , at least now i can push presure when puting solution threw black nozzle before i couldnt ,help i dont know to remove again and soak in water for night time or cleaning ink solution
the water will be ok, no need of cleaning solutions

After I cleaned the print head and completely dried it, and running several cleaning cycles, no ink is showing on the paper, before cleaning it was printing but some lines are missing but after cleaning no ink is coming out from the print head
i think you let the print head too much out of the printer
No, the cleaning process took in total with drying just 20 minutes, is it possible that because I blow only air using the inject needle for drying?
@@ammarnahhal418 May be, however you can try to remove again the printhaed, put only the nozzles in warm water then after a few minutes insert it into the printer
What's wrong if it doesn't power on after cleaning?
Are you sure some liquid did not fall inside the printer?
One question, why does the printhead stop working if it is out of the printer for too long?
The ink dry in the print-head clogging the nozzles so the ink does not flow
@@viandant5 Hello, I was wondering the same question. Thank you for explanation, but how is it possible for the ink to dry inside, if the point of this process is to flush out the ink completely with water? I thought there was no ink left. Or am I getting it wrong? Cheers
@@newguy69 yes but there are up to 720 nozzles, it could happebn that some of them are not cleaned
idk..what happened but after doing some printing suddenly my printer say unrecognized ink cartridge🤷🏻...i am sure it's compatible...
I think you have to remove and reinstall the print-head. may be a connector or a cable is not correctly inserted
