I got nothing but blank pages no matter what I tried. I left my printer for about 6 months without printing anything. After 3 days of trying everything I stumbled across this video and you are a rock star! My printer is now printing and all colors are perfect! All I did was try the hot water once and ran the head cleaning. After that it printed perfectly. Many, many, many thanks to you!
Your post gives me serious hope. Sounds like our boats are similar! Id be so stoked if this works.. The stuff I printed before the clog was soooo dope!
Im hoping for the same results! I’ve already done the cleaning with the solution and no luck. It actually stopped printing ink period and finally back to the broken lines. Im trying the hot water method right now. I wanted to try the priming but i dont know how to remove the door to the ink carriage
Omg when I say I could reach thru this screen and just give you the biggest hug!! My printer has been clogged for 6 months or more I tried EVERYTHING I could think of! Still nothing! I googled solutions today and your video popped up, I did the hot water twice then I pushed air thru the cartridges, then printed a purge page and it's working perfectly nowww!! I literally love you right now! Thank you so muchhh!!!
You are awesome. I purchased the Printhead Cleaning Solution from Amazon and tried that and when i tried to print the pattern page, no ink showed up. Oh my goodness i really thought i had messed my printer up. Then i found this video today and i did all three suggestions right after i had did another printhead cleaning solution. My colors are back. I did a little happy dance lol. Thank you so much.
I want to sincerely thank you! I live in Dominican Republic and taking your printer to get check with a professional can get really expensive. I sucessfully fixed my printer and I'm very thankful for that.God bless u!
Never had a clogging problem in 9 years... until today. Thank you so much for this video! I was skeptical but had nothing to lose (except for a clogged print head). It worked like a charm!!
I have a Workforce WF-7710. You are the best. I just tried your tip for addressing the issue of my color cartridges that would not print well. I did not have a syringe so I used a cotton swab to drop the hot water on the sponges. After letting it sit for a few minutes a print head cleaning and print nozzle cleaning did the trick. Thank you so very much.
Thank you so so much for your help. We purchased our Sublimation printer for our High School a year ago and we used in at Christmas and haven't since. Everything was so clogged. Our tech department couldn't figure out the issue but after watching your video I was able to repair it so my students could use it again for their projects. You are amazing. Thank you so so much.
you are the best you saved me buying blotting paper and unknown chemicals and hoses from another you tube but a company not a individual like you. your so down to earth and plesent and appreciated thank uou on going to find out what sublimation is now
THANK YOU! It worked just with the 1st step! I was so sad to have wasted money on cartridges and the maintenance shop was so expensive it would not have been worth it.
THIS WORKS!!! Had an Epson WF-7210 sitting well for over 2 years. Ended up buying a new sublimation printer and let this one sit even longer before touching it. Decided to try and get it working again. Did hot water 2x Purged the cartridges 1x Realized I needed more ink 😅 Purged again 1x Printed blocks of CMYK and they came out perfect!!! Thank you for making this video!
Your procedure + crossed fingers + prayer = Thanks for the miracle! This worked on my Epson WF 2750 (non-sublimation) printer. I hesitated to drop hot water, however carefully, into my printer, but decided why not? Epson had already advised me to buy a new printer vs. 0:02 pay to repair it at the nearest facility, @300 miles away. I appreciated their logic. In fact, I felt like a mad scientist without a clue, following the steps you recommended. But it worked. Thanks again.
I just wanted to say thank you, you saved my printer and you saved the landfill from more trash. I tried everything to fix the clogged print heads and nothing was working. I just wish I would've bumped into you sooner 🙂. Who would've thought hot water would've made it work. Thank you!!
This was incredibly helpful!!! My new cartridge only printed about 20 sheets and then completely quit 2 colors. I only used priming and it was successful!! The second printer would not print yellow no matter what I tried.. priming was the answer!! Thank you so much!!
I bought an Epson Eco Tank 3 weeks ago but have had it unopened and debating returning it due to stories about having to print every week to keep it working. Glad I found your video now I have more confident to keep it and try these things if it clogs since it will be only for hobby use. I of course want the sawgrass since it doesn't have these issues just can't afford one. Thank you so much for Sharing!!!
This worked! Thank you very very much! I almost gave up and felt so stupid! My husband insisted I check for others who may have run in to the same issues and your video helped tremendously! Thank you!
No Debbie I know this is way past your video release date: I had to tell you : someone gave me an epson 7720 FREE thought it was broken today. I used the hot water method the first round then 3 head cleanings and a last nozzle check..and its working like a champ..beautiful prints I thank you so much ..I hope you see this even thought the video was released 2 years ago. THANK YOU.
I never comment, but this is the best and easiest video on UA-cam to unclog print heads. Your method has never failed me, even when nothing else worked. It only took 2 tries
OMG I did your technique to my Epson WF 7720 and THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! It has worked. I am no longer going insane on how to jumpstart my sublimation printer. This time, I will do daily printing just so I can keep the printer heads active.
OMG it worked. My Cayan stopped working last Friday. Well it was out of ink actually all of my cartridges were empty, not sure how they were printing. I did the steam method twice, and right before I printed I did the syringe thing in the Cayan only. I cleaned the print heads and then printed and it worked. Of course I have a little mess on my printout, but a couple of test prints will clear this up. I AM SO GLAD I CAME ACROSS YOUR YOU TUBE ON THIS!!! You know I am a follower now. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I did not use my Epson printer for over year, and so it was in bad shape. Before getting rid of it, I thought I would give it a try at attempting to unclog it. I followed the instructions you provide in your video, and hey, it worked! Thanks for the information, and simple to understand video.
Since finding this video and fixing my printer (YAY!!!), I have sent this video to SOOO many people on all my groups. Every time someone says they have an issue I link them to this video!
My 7710 has been sitting also for two years and I use it for subbing with Cosmo ink. I’ve been putting it off because I know my anxiety will go through the roof. I’m so glad I found this video. I’m going to try to do this in the next couple days. Fingers crossed!! My printer wasn’t used much so I hope this works. Thank you
Same lol it literally was sitting for 2 exact years and I saw the color of my prints and tried the nozzle cleaning and freaked out because it didn't work. I really didn't want to buy another and thankfully came across this video
Did a purge and my blue isn’t working at all. I think I need a different syringe. The head on mine is too large to fit in there properly. Heading to the store. Please let this work!!
Your are my new FAVORITE PERSON! My ink heads started to ruin my life until I watched your video and I only applied really warn cleaning mix of mostly windows cleaner once and and a print head clean. I'm back at it. Good luck to all.
Thanks a million to this tutorial. My black ink was not printing at all no matter how many times I print head clean it. I did the hot water soak 2 times followed by priming the line on each soak. Now its printing.. thank you so much. ❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I could cry happy tears! I had a WF7710 sitting for almost 2 years because I couldn't get it to print correctly. Did the soaking step and pushing out the clog and my black was printing again 🥹
Okay, I have to say that my printer hasn’t been used much for close to 4 years. The print quality was terrible. I followed your water instructions given by a copier repair guy applies water twice and the printer is working beautifully now. I’m shocked that it worked, but thankful to you for posting this video!!!
I have been fighting my Epson WF7720 printer for a week with no success. I did your method and cleared the clog immediately. Thanks for putting this information out there..
Thank you so much for this video, I couldn't get my color to print and I was about to lose my mind and now my color is printing after using the syringe to purge the cartridges! Thanks again!
I am SO happy I found this video! Saved me the huge headache of buying a cleaning kit and going that route to unclog my Epson F170. Both the Magenta and Cyan print heads were clogged after two weeks of sitting idle. -_- This method cleaned them both and I'm back up and running. Thank you so much for sharing this info!!
Thanks, it worked!!! It took a few goes. I also read somewhere the printer should not be near a hot place. I had moved the printer into my kitchen last week where it is warmer to work. I shall keep the printer away from the radiator if that was causing the problem. Thanks again 👋👋👋
Thank you so much! After this hack and 2 cleanings of my Epson wf-2760, which was completely clogged, it worked like a charm! I'm so happy that I don't have to go out and buy another. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your video with your information to unclog the Epson printer. It worked great. I did all 3 options so as make sure that it fixed it. I was not aware of the purge method by pushing air/ink through the cartridge. THANK YOU!
OMG! THANK YOU!! I just bought and converted an wf 2930, did so many cleanings and only one color was printing, I was getting so frustrated, tried these steps instant results!!
Oh my gosh!!!! You saved me!!! I had bought a cleaning kit and it didn't work. I thought I would be stuck buying another printer and then I saw your video!!!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge !
Thank you so much for this hack. I was ready to throw mine away. I even pulled a new blank cartridge out and filled it up and that didn't work. I did have to do the priming because the first part didn't help at all. I am back in business!! Thanks so much!!
Most AMAZING tips EVER!!! Got my printer back up and running in no time at all! Fastest ever!! Thank you! Now fixing to print and press a tumbler with your amazing 3D succulent design Will post to your FB page! :)
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So many helpful tips, you are a great teacher and effectively share a ton of information without sounding condescending! That's a real feat these days😉
Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! My WF-7710 is printing beautifully after having it show magenta was empty when it was actually full. Priming did the trick.
Great advice here. May I add, Tip on printing the color purge sheet: delete the colors that you don't need to purge to avoid wasting those colors. And you find find a video on how to create your own purge sheet in Word by drawing the squares, no borders, fill colors in custom hex per video, size them according to how much you want to purge.
My printer was not as old and clogged as yours but I was getting really bad lines in my printing. I used the Premium Matte setting like you recommended and it suddenly printed fine. Now I’m using that setting on everything. Thank you for the tip, even if unintentional.❤
Thank you!! My yellow was stuck, it always gives me trouble because I don't use that color often, I mostly print just black. So it clogs a lot. I never can get it unclogged without hours of misery trying different things. The prime method and 1 printer head cleaning did the trick!! So thank you for saving me hours of unnecessary printer head cleanings.
Thank God for your video! I had almost given up. Everything's working great. after I use the air filled syringe technique, my colors came out great with a little few skips.
Oh my goodness thank you thank you thank you I have worked on my printer for two days, and I tried your method and it works I so appreciate it thank you again!!!!

My Epson 7720 (for dye sub) was printing great except yellow. I took out the print head and cleaned but nothing. I soaked the head in water then pushed air through the cartridge and now I have lots of yellow. Thank you for sharing!!
Tysm, I recently bought a used Epson ecotank printer off EBay and it probably wasn’t used in one or two years. I did the soak method (with cleaning solution instead), the air filling with the syringe, then two power cleanings (I know it can shorten the printer life but printhead cleanings only messed up the ink even more), which got it working again.
Thank you so very much for the wonderful video! I've got a show coming up this week and your instruction made it possible for me to get my work done in time.😊
I have a WF 7710, got it from my BIL a few months ago and I havent been able to to print with it. The yellow is not printing at all now... but the printer will recognize the ink... but I am still not able to print the yellow... im steaming it right now..
Your 'fix' worked for me but I have a new issue. I have blobs of ink around the edges of my print. not sure how to fix that? is it the paper feed causing it or something else.?

Mine was not as bad as the one you worked on, but I was able to easily clean the print heads.
