Lyrics:
I ain't lookin' for prayers or pity
I ain't comin' 'round searchin' for a crutch
I just want someone to talk to
And a little of that human touch
Just a little of that human touch
Ain't no mercy on the streets of this town
Ain't no bread from heavenly skies
Ain't nobody drawin' wine from this blood
It's just you and me tonight

July 2024? Anyone?
Here i am 😊
Yes, me😊
Hell yeah, 👍
I'm here. 16.06.24. Tune.❤ This track helps me remember what a "human touch" should feel like.
Sorry.It leaves me speechless.
He's not called the boss for no reason.absolute class!
Human touch...how much is missing in these times...
LINDA ESSA MÚSICA ❤❤
Plenty of it missing
Bruce makes this world for a beautiful place❤
This just might be Bruce Springsteen's greatest song ever!
It certainly has become my favorite! 💜
I truly believe that. Huge admirer, and love much of his stuff, but this cuts deeper: super-meaningful, as well as musically powerful. The best (the only?!) combination...
@basslinehum 14.6.24
Personally speaking I think this is real rock roll from one of the best there is 🎉!
It is certainly one of his best.
In my life right now it is my fav!
Why does every radio station always play Born in the USA, when he has written so many other amazing, amazing songs like this one - this, in my opinion is one of his absolute best! The River and Tougher Than The Rest are a couple of other classics - his solo harmonica in both of them is just unbelievable!
Because Born in the USA is the most famous album, not only for 🤑 questions, but also for the "interpretation" that Bush ( if I remember right) do of the song and how Springsteen answer.
With you on that they are the songs I love too plus this one many others his heart his love are in them ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Agree tell them
Born in the USA isn't even in his top 10
I still hear Glory Days or Streets Of Philadelphia on local radio, but not this one.
My favorite Springsteen. It's a classic!
Bruce Springsteen is an incredible poet.
Bruce ist The Boss!
Been single for a minute now. That line “I know I ain’t nobody’s bargain” hits a bit rough. Oh well, I will appreciate it more the next time around. Better train rides ahead!
I’m right there with you. I’m no Greek god, and unfortunately that is what women want/expect, and that breaks my heart because I know men like that don’t have to work as hard as men less fortunate to gain a keep a good woman’s heart
@@stevebashir2359 keep on keeping on. The right one is out there for us both. Don’t waste a minute thinking about the wrong ones.
True love comes when you least expect it. Thirty-nine years ago, a scag of a woman left me and I was heartbroken, and thought it was the end of the world. About a year-and-a-half later, met my second wife. A little bit funny, 'cause I always think as myself somewhat 'ugly', and my initial reaction to seeing her, was less than 5 out of 10; BUT - and this is what was so important: her life experiences, her travels, her reading, her thought process and 'basic philosophy' immediately 'took me aback'. And then fast forward 2, 3, 5, 10 years and more and - her inner beauty manifested itself into outer beauty - and she said as much about me; that the lowly caterpillar kind of metamorphosized into a butterfly (yeah, still don't believe her...).
So, here we are 37 years on, and we can literally read each other's thoughts.
One door shuts, and seven or ten more open...
@@SailorGerry love the name! That is so awesome that this happened/ is happening to you. Something to look forward to. Thank you so much for sharing!
I’m no Bruce Springsteen fan, but this song is a masterpiece.

Well I love him and I agree ..for me he does it ...always has😍😍
That's how I feel about it too.
Hey news flash. Your now a fan now
YOU'LL LEARN TO BE, YOUR HERE NOW!! JUST A LITTLE OF THAT HUMAN TOUCH
Haven't heard this song in a few years. I forgot how good it is! One of The Boss's best! 😎👍
BRUCE PUTS HIS HEART AND SOUL INTO A SONG
You and me we were the pretenders
We let it all slip away
In the end what you don't surrender
Well, the world just strips away
Girl, ain't no kindness in the face of strangers
Ain't gonna find no miracles here
Well, you can wait on your blessin's, my darlin'
I got a deal for you right here
I ain't lookin' for praise or pity
I ain't comin' 'round searchin' for a crutch
I just want someone to talk to
And a little of that human touch
Just a little of that human touch
🎵🎶🎵🎶
Ain't no mercy on the streets of this town
Ain't no bread from heavenly skies
Ain't nobody drawin' wine from this blood
It's just you and me tonight
Tell me, in a world without pity
Do you think what I'm askin's too much?
I just want something to hold on to
And a little of that human touch
Just a little of that human touch
🎵🎶🎵🎶
Oh girl, that feeling of safety you prize
Well, it comes at a hard hard price
You can't shut off the risk and the pain
Without losin' the love that remains
We're all riders on this train
🎵🎶🎵🎶
So you've been broken and you've been hurt
Show me somebody who ain't
Yeah, I know I ain't nobody's bargain
But, hell, a little touch up
And a little paint
You might need somethin' to hold on to
When all the answers, they don't amount to much
Somebody that you could just to talk to
And a little of that human touch
Baby, in a world without pity
Do you think what I'm askin's too much?
I just want to feel you in my arms
Share a little of that human touch
Share a little of that human touch
Feel a little of that human touch
Feel a little of that human touch
Share a little of that human touch
Feel a little of that human touch
Give me a little of that human touch
Give me a little of that human touch
Thanks

1992: What a masterpiece!
2022: 30 years still has the magic!

In a world full of apps and technology, Human touch is rare. A masterpiece
I remember the first time I heard Human Touch on the radio. It was in the middle of the night. I was driving and became so caught up in the song that I forgot that I was delivering newspapers and missed an entire neighborhood. It remains one of the most hauntingly beautiful masterpieces I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. Timeless.
Same here. An utterly moving song, after all these years.
God bless you Kimberly. Same effect for me driving across the country. That song took me 3,500 miles. I might have to go back.
Love my Bruce Springsteen ❤️🙏
Masterpiece
This and Tunnel of Love; brilliant songs from a simpler time.
This song, and video came out in 1992, it was cool then, and even after 30 yrs, it's still cool. A great song by Springsteen.
It came out way before 92. I know
@@jamessorey5687 The song may have came out before '92, but the video from what remember came out in '92.
Yes it sure is it's a song that lifts you up and if it doesn't get your blood pumping and heart racing and want to get up and get the lead out it does me ...
I agree dam good song

Nobody ever realized how important the human touch is until now.this.dont u wish u could hug all the people in your life right now
So true.

Yessss very important not to worry there's plenty of us who feel the passion x
Just hug them don't be told you can't are you really that stupid that you can't no wonder the world is fucked up
30 years ago this month, a Billboard top 20 hit. It should have been a top 5 hit. One of the best songs he has written.
I agree 100%!
This song is criminally underrated from him. This song deserves more recognition the lyrics and the sound are a masterpiece
I’m not the world’s biggest Boss fan but damn some of his songs like this one just hit different 😊
This song came out in 92. Who would've thought it would become so drastically relevant 28-30 years later? Well, I've found many other Bruce songs to be relevant to many other contexts, way beyond what you would expect, so I can't be surprised really. He's just timeless...
I come back to this song like every 3-5 years or so. Love it.
YES❤ TIMELESS 💜💖WE ALL MISS TOUCH🙏💖💜
My favorite poet
When someone gifts you a song like this - the lyrics stays with you of the memories shared.
Never leaves.
Time stands still.
Remembering that human touch of laughs and love.
I am awestruck like time never passed.
But reality is that decades have flown by since goodbye.
And I still cannot help but to feel time has stood still.
Because human touch will never allow one to forget - even if - they try.
Thanks Bruce for saying what so many cannot and that only few are truly blessed to feel and live the lyrics ❤

One thing I love about Bruce Springsteen is when in the middle of performances, he'll throw in that nice, warm smile of his. It tells me that he loves what he does and is passionate about music.
Exactly!! Love it

One of my favorite Springsteen songs. Pure truth in his poetry. Human Touch, in my opinion, is the acceptance and the contrast to Brilliant Disguise. He had moved on from the self-doubt, and confusion that his first marriage brought...and moved on with his second wife -- embracing vulnerability. My favorite line: "Yeah I know I ain't nobody's bargain, but hell a little touch up and a little paint."

I think this is his best song. It came out during a time in my life of transitioning from college to the real world. It was a rough stretch so it cheered me up
One of my favorite songs by him. I first heard it when I was twenty and have liked it ever since!
I discovered Bruce in my late twenties and fell in love with his songs. They almost all spoke to me. I love his music and lyrics and wish I had found him earlier. He still strikes that chord in me even in my boring marriage of over 40 years now. I wish I had had the courage to make a change back then for that someone I found along with Bruce's songs. Go for it, people, and lose that dead weight of a childish, selfish, useless spouse who couldn't start a fire with matches if he had them.

That little girl smiling at Bruce on the train is what made this video special to me. Sure wish I knew her name.
I agree the little girl smiling just makes that video extra special. She was a child actress based out of Los Angeles. I tried to check the credits but couldn't find her name. If you really want to know who she is contact the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) in Los Angeles and they will gladly look it up for you. By now that cute little girl is most likely gone to college, gotten married, and has kids. SAG will have her name at their
finger tips. Nice to know Bobby Hatfield ("Unchained Melody") of The Righteous Brothers did background vocals on the "Human Touch" album. He also did a duet with Bruce on "I Wish I Were Blind" - but according to his son, for whatever reason it was never released. Boy do we all miss Bobby Hatfield - what a great singer and
even greater person.
