Happy New Year!
So I played Death Stranding and therefore had to review Death Stranding.
As late as it is, It is perhaps the most important game of the year.
This is one of these games that come and go much too rarely. It is a title that challenges the fabric of gaming and blows it apart to present an entirely new way of play.

Well I can‘t speak for anybody but myself, and I still do lol.
Seeing somebody elses take on a game and their experience and opinions on it is *always* interesting and entertaining.
Take RennsReviews for example, I might not always 100% agree with him but you can tell that he‘s being homest about the games he plays and you can tell he‘s passionate about what he plays.
But actually just do what you feel like, if you enjoy making it us subscribers will probably enjoy watching and it‘s always weirdly nostalgic hearing your voice :D
I don't normally watch reviews but coincidence I'm subbed to renns and jaz reviews too

Actually, enemies that are killed do not have to be taken to an incinerator, it is only specific to two missions in the game.

Coming from a massive MGS fan, this game is fucking trash. It's kojima unchecked, the story is completely nonsense, ghameplay is meh and it has all the worse parts of MGSVs micro management,
Only saving grace is the community aspect of it.
I am also a massive MGS fan but I don't quite think the story is nonsense. Yet I do think the writing is nothing but filling at parts for a storyline that lacks impact over a Looooong space of time. Gameplay wise - I think was Gold. It is utterly different to anything I have experienced and likely ever will experience. There is a lot of micromanagement, something of which I had to cut from the review due to the sheer length of writing for this. It is tedious however.
I simply look at this game as a piece of art as opposed to anything else, to be enjoyed in its own right with a certain amount of downtime, yet in full respect of the complete journey.
But of course, let's go back and forth. I know that this game has its errors as an interactive game.
@@JazReviews The only part I really enjoyed about the game was the traversing to a new area not on the network and then seeing what the community had made after joining the area to the network, and then building on that. Like I personally made massive zipline networks and people worked around and added to them too.
Other than that, Its a very tedious game. The story is nonsense, it really is. While imaginative, it's just unneccisarily convoluted for the sake of being convoluted. Again, Kojima unchecked.
BTs lost there "scaryness" after realizing they are just an easy stealth obstacle, and a mediocre boss fight you can run away from. They were more of an inconvinence than anything, Mules are the same, just a stupid obstacle.
The core gameplay is delivering packages and traversing with stupid balance mechanics. Not fun at all. The world isn't even a fun playground like other open world games.
