Great review and playing! Thanks for putting this up. Was your choice to go with the natural ash aesthetic only, or does the sound vary greatly between this and the alder body?
hey man thanks, For me, I would choose the ash still for two reasons. First and foremost is the tone in the pop. It sounds Sooo good / looks really good. alder for me is alittle warmer , not reeally my thing.
Mine is so so on the controls...and I was unable to remove the knobs to loose the plastic covering. Maybe ot just needs getting used to. I did lower the action and less bend of fret board..I did have to intonate as well. Not a bass I am able to feel comfortable at a gig just yet...Love the growl bottom line!😊
