I just wanted to say thank you for all of your videos. They have truly helped me with my Bible study. One thing I'm still struggling with is the pressure that when I'm studying I have to make sure I get everything (all of the context, meaning, facts, etc) all at once. That I can't miss anything. So I really appreciated it when you said it's ok to miss something because we have the rest of our lives to study the Bible.
I wouldn’t put so much emphasis on getting everything all at once, just learn as you can. My pastor has been preaching for 30+ years and still finds new stuff when he reads through it 😊 I love that it’s truly God’s living word ❤
The point is the Bible will always be applicable to your life & to society. Make sure you don’t just read the Bible once & be done with it. Make a promise to yourself that you’ll read it daily, and it will speak to you daily.
WOHOO! I am so glad. I poured my heart out in it. It's not only my passion to think and learn about this stuff but also struggle through how to communicate it well!
Faith, you, along with the pull on my heart from Jesus, have helped impact my life and how I study the Bible. This is the first time I am reading the Bible. I grew up Catholic but I was never taught how to read the Bible, I was just told that I needed to read it. I had tried on multiple occasions but found it so difficult and was discouraged because I didn’t understand it. I thought there was something wrong with me. Your videos started to appear on my feed and you reignited the need I’ve had to understand God’s word. I didn’t know there were any resources to help explain it to me. Right now, I am slowly working through it, I have a ways to go, but your videos and encouragement has really helped me. I was able to get some of the resources you have suggested in past videos and has made such a difference. At the moment, my notes are geared towards, plain and simple, understanding what I’m reading. Thank you thank you thank you and may God bless you and your family for the work that you do.
Faith, God allowed me to "find" you here. I am thankful that you are sharing the wisdom that the Lord has given to you. I appreciate your ministry so much. It has helped me to grow closer to Him.😊
Your videos are especially heart warming for me... This is my first time reading the Bible ever and I have God and You to thank for that... I absolutely love using your cliff notes for my Bible... I've been watching all of you videos, from the beginning b/c i just found you about a month or so ago, and i have learned so much!! Im 64 (almost 65 yikes, 😬), and i started back in the Bible a couple of years ago. I'm following a person here on UA-cam with the bible study and I'm so loving her, then i go find you and both of y'all are so helpful. THANK YOU!!! Thank you for your time. The Holy Spirit is calling me all the time to go to the word. Seriously, i want to study the bible all day long! I can not get enough. Anyway, im blabbering, haha, but thank you again for all you do. God bless you. You are awesome!!😊
I can totally relate to the part "the Holy Spirit is calling me to go read the Bible and I can't seem to get enough of it " . That is something I could have written myself at this phase of my life . I started to read the Bible (10/7/24). Yes I do know about the Bible as a Christian but oh mine has it been an eye opener studying HIS word inductively .. I could literally do it all day if I had no kids and husband to attend to. Wish I knew how to read his word and build my relationship stronger with HIM a while back before having kids and all that but in another breadth I BELIEVE GOD's timing is the best and only HIM knows when it took me this long to get closer in HIS WORD. Praise be to God almighty for HIS REDEEMING WORDS IN THE BIBLE THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT (now I am the one blabbing hahahaha. ). Peace to you.
You add so much (and have added since you started your channel) to my Bible study! Your willingness to offer in depth information and excitement while you’re doing it are so incredibly important to my life and walk with Christ! Thank you!
I have the same mindset you do when it comes to Bible journaling. While I’m reading my Bible, I like to have notes that explain what I’m reading. I had a note in one of my Bibles that said “company’s coming”. I have no idea what it means now. 😂 Also, I sometimes find Bible journaling, Bible notetaking, Bible study difficult because I don’t want to get it wrong. Love all your videos! ❤
Thank you for all of your fun videos and helping others to seek Him daily in all the glory of His Truth. You have definitely helped to change my Bible study habits and is now something that I daily look forward to rather than a task. Keep up His Kingdom work!

Wow, there is so much information in this video that I have saved it to watch over and over so I can absorb it all. Thanks, Faith for sharing how you take notes in your Bible....
I have followed your channel for a few years now and on Patreon for over a year as well and this video is up there in my Top 5 favorites! I love videos that lay out steps like this in detail how to Bible study where you share your personal experience/routine etc with the topic, where you give background information about the Bible/Bibke topic itself and then give a Scripture reference along with the example your talking about! I may not be explaining what I’m trying to say well, however I really enjoyed this video… 💛💛
Faith, Thank you for your videos. They have taught me a lot. I have two study bibles that I am currently but I am really looking into doing more notes in my bible. I appreciate my study bibles, but I like the note taking ideas.
I don’t feel confident in the Bible. I am doing your grace read the Bible in the year. I have taken your bootcamp. I know how I just feel like I don’t know how to understand like you do. You break things down so well. It’s a goal of mine to be better at really studying the Bible.

Thank you!!!! 🎉 im as crafty and "scrappy" as they get, but this is true bible journaling! Why it matters, pratically how to stay faithful to the authoritative word of God in our interpretation and application. I need the reminder that we dont study Gods word in a vacuum. We all do. So thank you again, friend. ❤
I watched one of your videos where you talk about using the bible dictionary and this was a GAME changer for me and my note taking. It helps give me a waaaaaay deeper understanding of things. Thank you so much.
Thank you Faith. My heart wants to know more about Jesus and the bible. This video brings another way of understanding God's word. I am grateful to my pastor and others who are like minded in giving clarity to the Word.
Howdy' new here. Love the tips! Wanted to leave ya one of my own. In OK, we have bible hi-gliders. They are highlighters in Crayola form. NO bleed throughs!! Many colors. I use my colors often, also.
Thank you for these videos. I am adding commentary and dictionaries to aid in my studies. I just ordered your cliff notes. Can't wait to add them to my Bible!
Hi Faith! This video was so helpful in reigniting my desire to finish strong for the Grace Bible Reading Plan and going deeper into God’s Word. I think my biggest struggle is getting in my head too much and finding it’s hard to get started when there’s SO much information. I also feel like I don’t feel qualified to study and take notes. My eyes miss information all the time and I feel like that’s why it’s easier for me to have someone else break it down and do the leg work for me. But I would love to get to a place where I can break down passages of scripture into digestible chunks and pieces and know what to look for or where to go for accurate resources to help me process the Bible better.
Hello! I'm a new subscriber from the Philippines. I want to study the Bible but don't know where to start, how long it will take, or when to begin. As a mother of three, I want to deepen my relationship with God and dedicate time to this every day, despite my busy schedule. whoooo! You're a motivation!
Faith! This video was excellent!! I’ve been following you for quite some time and was thrilled to find you because you take meaningful notes in your Bible, and don’t just do the cutesy stuff I see everywhere else. I’ve taken sermon and study notes in my Bible for years, but your inspiration now has me digging deeper and using some really great reference books, too, which has really helped me so so much! Your Cliff’s Notes are now glued into my Bible and have been so helpful, along with giving me the extra space for notes on the back side. 😉 I don’t know that I’ve ever commented before, but today’s video was so so good and so so helpful, I just wanted to say thank you!
I just had to share! I am reading a book "How we got the Bible" by Neil Lightfoot and it is fabulous. But what I want to share is he walks you through the history of manuscripts though time. And in the early translations into the east from the medieval time period they would write notes or comments on the meaning of the text just like we do today. There has been a long history of Bible journaling! Lol
This one is so very practical and helpful!! I love the historical part and look forward to getting into it! I have often wondered where the preachers find out that part...so interesting! Thank you for your passion and your ministry! 💚💙💜
How nice this video! It's very interesting, I liked it much. Her speech is very dinamic and loud, as well as the takes of your Bible. Great work, congratulations for this youtuber-woman.
This was great! I learned another new thing to do in my Bible studies! I get what you mean about the coke drink, even though that's something I've not heard before. I know I'm the same by calling all vacuum cleaners Hoovers, despite Hoover being a particular brand lol!!
Faith or you could do read the New Testament in 3 or 6 months. That could generate interest in your reading plan! Thanks so much for your videos and I appreciate that you responded to a question I had a few weeks ago. You are the bomb Faith 💕.
Only 3 minutes in and already loving this video! I can definitely relate to feeling a little discouraged when those passages come hahaha I would say that my issue is not knowing which resources to use. As in, there are so many commentaries/ helpful material that I don’t know what is the best to use for my current knowledge of biblical teachings. Have a good and blessed weekend ❤
@@HowtoFaithALife I’d say that using commentaries is a little strange. Everybody has a different understanding of the Bible and I haven’t even figured out my own views hahaha I find your videos super helpful because you have a lot of resources on this topic but I still find it hard.
Faith I'd like to suggest you do a read through your Bible in 6 months in the new year. We all need encouragement to get in the word and I think this could be fun for all!
I have finally decided to take on the journey of Bible journaling after ao many years of feeling like I should never ever mark in my Bible, and I just wanted to thank you for that. I truly feel that God led me to your channel to speak to me and tell me that it's okay to write in your Bible. I just want you to know Me. So I bought my first ever journaling bible and I'm excited to get started! Could you make a video on how you made the cute little tassled page and what page it marks and why? Or if you've already made a video on it, point in the direction of it? 😊
Boy did the lord send this video at the right time !!! I am currently in Numbers and I am like “oh my” where is Jesus in here ? So many rules and so much blood shed……but then it hit me like a ton of bricks….we could never follow all those rules and we needed Jesus to shed HiS blood to save us all….. but I was struggling for a long time today lol. God bless you for this video!! I feel like it’s a very needed video for many reasons.
We were taught by my maternal Grandma to not write in our Bibles. She in turn was taught this by her Dad who was a Baptist preacher. With that in mind, our pastor believed in writing in your Bible. As he always said "mark your Bible and it'll mark you." To this day, I cannot bring myself to write in my Bible.
I am a recent convert from the lds (Mormon) church that I converted to when I was 23, I’m 39 now. I have a lot of trauma from growing up in abuse to an abusive marriage to other traumas. I also have mental illnesses. I was just baptized back in April nd am trying my best. I’m in celebrate recovery which is an amazing program, and I also am out patient of a mental institution. I have health issues too, that’s not even my full story just a brief context. That being said, I struggle in faith. I struggle trusting God. I struggle with trusting him as a father because I didn’t have a stable parental relationship with either parent or my adoptive mother (bio grandmother). It’s not that I don’t want to let go, I struggle with pulling the walls down. I’m 39 yers old and I still don’t know my purpose. I have a broken marriage and couldn’t have children. Where do I go from here. I keep getting the whole “I’m on the right path” thing by the minister I speak to at my church, but I feel like I’m lacking somewhere or that I could be doing more. Or would that just be the enemy trying to get me to burnout? I won’t lie, I give up. I don’t want to be that person who goes to the alter weekly to give my life to Christ. Do you recommend anything?
I’m a Catholic who has some of the same issues as you. Please know that there is value in your suffering. You can offer it to the Lord in a profound way, as He offered his suffering for us. He already knows you love Him so be still in the knowledge. Sit with Him in silence and know that you are not alone. And when He wills, He will point you in the right direction. ❤
Ok I’m going out on a limb here and gonna be vulnerable. My Bible Study struggles are fears of taking things out of context (followed pastors that did and fell for them no idea that they were taking things out of context) also I know I’m supposed to read the passage a few times asking questions along the way. Finding answers for myself first and then going to commentaries and dictionaries after I’ve outlined it myself and found answers myself. I’m ADD a bit and am impatient or worried I’ll forget my questions and maybe to excited to find answers by the time I’ve read only a sentence or paragraph and so I go looking in a commentary or dictionary and then get distracted continuing to read the commentary/dictionary on rabbit trails and before I know it an hour has gone by and I haven’t read my Bible study fully just the commentary/dictionary. How do I force myself to read the full study then look for answers? How do I not forget my questions. Also it frustrates me when I read a bunch of commentaries and they all agree on an outline for that passage and then someone else has a completely different one more in depth!! I feel like I’m doing something wrong everytime this happens (back to the false teachers I fell for I feel like I’m doing that with outlines too). Hope I’m making sense. It’s embarrassing to admit I get distracted by commentaries and that I fell for false teachers. Thanks for this video Faith so good!!💕
Please don’t be embarrassed. What I see in your post that you are hungry for the Word! I’d suggest reading a chapter at a time, then, go back and look at dictionaries and commentaries.
2:36 ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!!! I bought some resources I was excited, and I felt like I didn’t get anywhere 😫. Are we suppose to study the whole book? A Passage? Like I just felt defeated. lol
You can study a book, a verse, or a chapter. I do my daily Bible reading and if I come across a word, verse, or chapter I don't understand I break out the commentaries, bible dictionary or map to help guide me. I also use bible hub to do a word study in hebrew or Greek. Don't be discouraged. We will never know everything, but as long as you are learning and growing your relationship with our LORD and Savior, that is all that matters. God bless, please don't be discouraged.
@@HowtoFaithALifeoh thank you so much❤ Just reading the Bible knowledge C. You recommend.thank you for this. Those are such blessing. ❤❤❤do i understand right, they are written at where you come from and you have studied? 🤔🤔🤔 I speak german😅😅
Thank you for your videos, they are very inspiring and encouraging. What I struggle with is time for indepth studies. I want to spend 3+ hours every day. I am also a single mom of 2 kids, full-time nurse, and full-time student. I feel guilty about not making time. At the same time there are days when I get less than 4 hours of sleep, so I don’t know where I would fit that time. Any recommendations?
I love your videos, I truly do. Sometimes my problem is that when I am trying to study and understand the word, it is like listening to Charlie Brown’s teacher and I would want to give up. I struggle big time, I am slow to learn and understand. I don’t feel comfortable at times when it comes to reading my Bible 😢
I listen to her at .75 she sounds more like a conversation that doesn’t leave you wondering what just happened.. when you touch the screen you will see the settings symbol. Click on it and can change speed of playback.
My main issue is definitely not feeling confident in diving into the Bible. Then terrified of studying it "wrong" or taking the wrong understanding of the Scripture. I want to be confident in hearing God through the Word and not copying anyone else's style and what they got out of the Scripture.
As soon as you said that so many couples have met at wells, I instantly thought of Jesus, followed by the story you told of the woman at the well, where Jesus offers her living water, and I think I might have just made a realization. Jesus has been there, (thru the water well) when these couples meet, almost like a premonition of Jesus being a part of a marriage. I think.
I just wanted to say thank you for all of your videos. They have truly helped me with my Bible study. One thing I'm still struggling with is the pressure that when I'm studying I have to make sure I get everything (all of the context, meaning, facts, etc) all at once. That I can't miss anything. I watched one of your videos where you talk about using the bible dictionary and this was a GAME changer for me and my note taking. It helps give me a waaaaaay deeper understanding of things. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!
I love how you mentioned Job 22, because my favorite verse is Job 22:28 which was used on my letterman jacket.
Thank you Faith. My heart wants to know more about Jesus and the bible. This video brings another way of understanding God's word. I am grateful to my pastor and others who are like minded in giving clarity to the Word.
This was so helpful!! Loved it!
I'm so happy to hear that!
Howdy' new here. Love the tips! Wanted to leave ya one of my own. In OK, we have bible hi-gliders. They are highlighters in Crayola form. NO bleed throughs!! Many colors. I use my colors often, also.
Thank you for this amazing video Faith. It’s really helped me to focus my bible study and not to be discouraged by some of the harder text.
I'm so glad!
Thank you for these videos. I am adding commentary and dictionaries to aid in my studies. I just ordered your cliff notes. Can't wait to add them to my Bible!
Great tips! ❤❤❤ thank you for all the information and examples with your explanations. So helpful
So good! I didn’t catch that men met their wives at wells in all the times I’ve read the story of the woman at the well.
I literally wish I could give this video a million thumbs up. Faith this video is AMAZING and soooooo edifying and necessary for the body of Christ!!
Oh wow, yay! Thank you!
I love your view on application. It’s so very helpful!
Glad you think so!
Hello! I'm a new subscriber from the Philippines. I want to study the Bible but don't know where to start, how long it will take, or when to begin. As a mother of three, I want to deepen my relationship with God and dedicate time to this every day, despite my busy schedule. whoooo! You're a motivation!
I'm new to really studying the Bible this is very helpful.
Such a timely video for me. Thank you!
So glad! God is so cool when He lines stuff up like that!
This was very insightful! ❤
Thank you for this. I would like to see more on application. There is where I struggle.
Thank you 🙏🏼 love this❤
How nice this video! It's very interesting, I liked it much. Her speech is very dinamic and loud, as well as the takes of your Bible. Great work, congratulations for this youtuber-woman.
I absolutely love your videos, you’ve helped me so much be in the word; but my question for you is what’s your favorite country singer!😊
This was great! I learned another new thing to do in my Bible studies! I get what you mean about the coke drink, even though that's something I've not heard before. I know I'm the same by calling all vacuum cleaners Hoovers, despite Hoover being a particular brand lol!!
Ahhh yes, I get so discouraged getting through all the prophesies as well. I just remind myself that their here for a reason.
Thank you for this!
Such an incredible and helpful video, Faith! Where did you get your cross candle from? It’s so beautiful!
Can you make videos on how to reignite that fire for studying and hopping down those rabbit trails?
Soooo good about the well thing i mightve yelled out loud 😂
hahahah :)
Faith or you could do read the New Testament in 3 or 6 months. That could generate interest in your reading plan! Thanks so much for your videos and I appreciate that you responded to a question I had a few weeks ago. You are the bomb Faith 💕.
Thank u for all this
Only 3 minutes in and already loving this video!
I get that! I just try everything lol 😅but is there something you don’t feel comfortable using in Bible study?
@@HowtoFaithALife I’d say that using commentaries is a little strange. Everybody has a different understanding of the Bible and I haven’t even figured out my own views hahaha I find your videos super helpful because you have a lot of resources on this topic but I still find it hard.
@@HowtoFaithALifeI don’t understand Strong’s and how to apply this to Bible studying 😩
Thank you.The robot is cool!😊
Faith on 🔥! Thank you 🙌. I’ll BOLO for Ex 34:6. 👀
Praise the Lord! I'm so happy to hear that!
Really good!!
Great video
We were taught by my maternal Grandma to not write in our Bibles. She in turn was taught this by her Dad who was a Baptist preacher. With that in mind, our pastor believed in writing in your Bible. As he always said "mark your Bible and it'll mark you." To this day, I cannot bring myself to write in my Bible.
Thank you so much for sparking my interest in actually studying the Bible and not just sit in church and listening.
YAY! I am so happy to hear that!
We use CMA as an acronym at work, but it stands for cover my... uh, anatomy.
I would also love to see more Hebrew or Greek word study videos
Books or references of what times where like during biblical times. Cultural backgrounds reference books etc.
Amen sis 💖💞💖💞💖💪💪💪💪💪
Yuhuuu🎉 Faiths video❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉📚
hehe :) hope it blesses you!
@@HowtoFaithALifeoh thank you so much❤
Just reading the Bible knowledge C. You recommend.thank you for this. Those are such blessing.
❤❤❤do i understand right, they are written at where you come from and you have studied? 🤔🤔🤔
I speak german😅😅
Love all your videos, Bible prayerjournal, scrapbooking. It help a lot. Blessed sunday❤❤❤
I would to see you take a passage and show how you study and how you take notes.
Faith, can you do a video on Ecclesiastes?
My main issue is definitely not feeling confident in diving into the Bible. Then terrified of studying it "wrong" or taking the wrong understanding of the Scripture. I want to be confident in hearing God through the Word and not copying anyone else's style and what they got out of the Scripture.
Hi Faith do you think you could make a video where you do a flip through the book of Acts. Ps love the videos
GOD bless ✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️
I did it here! ua-cam.com/video/_cMNAgZoOfM/v-deo.htmlsi=VUJ9xBGLeuAO0kwE
Faith thanks for yet another video. I still lack confidence and whether I am truly going deeper or not. Any ideas on this?
Do you think you'll have Crew and Co rebind your Bible again since it's grown so much?
I've been struggling with Ezekiel and can't find many resources abt it. Can you do a video on that?
As soon as you said that so many couples have met at wells, I instantly thought of Jesus, followed by the story you told of the woman at the well, where Jesus offers her living water, and I think I might have just made a realization. Jesus has been there, (thru the water well) when these couples meet, almost like a premonition of Jesus being a part of a marriage. I think.
