Yes I needed this! Thanks for everything you do ❤ I got approached by a sweet young lady last night who was talking about the waters of life and invited me to study with her. When I googled the name of the church. Turns out it was a known cult. I knew there was a reason I felt something.ofr. And I said I better get back to my studies more often. 😂 God was like get it together, you already have a study course just keep going more in depth before you get recruited. Thought y'all would get a kick out that. 😅🤣🤣🤣

Bless your everloving heart! I too was a special education teacher. Question? Do you lay hand on every desk in your room and pray for the child who sits at it? God bless you for giving to these beautiful babies of the Lord!
@ Praise God Sister! Actually, I want to teach ADHD Christians by facilitating Bible studies. Right now, I am focusing on identifying study tools which will help me do that. I was an adult school teacher in the past. I ended up going into corporate America. Now, heading for seven years of retirement and closer to the kingdom, I would love to empower ADHD people to study the Bible. It’s not easy for us. Rather Than lay hands on desk, my hope is that I can lay hands on them. God bless. May you enjoy this Thanksgiving season with your family and friends.
Perfect timing! I have been wanting to understand verse mapping more. I am about to go through your James worksheets since I just joined Patreon 🎉 Thank you for your videos, resources and information 🧡 Also, that's a super cute sweater!
Just found you! I am definately a Bible Nerd. I need something like this. No matter how much I have read the Bible, God ALWAYS gives me an auh-ha moment and it gets me SO excited to study even more. I even have days when the Lord floods me with so much information that my mind scatters trying to get it all down. Then I meditate on what He shows me. He is so AMAZING!!! The words He gives me just blows me away!!! I am very particular about the resources that I will refer too and what Bibles I will use as well because I find that many Bibles Christians use today that have actually changed the meaning of the original texts. I also take into account who translates it, conditions under why and how it was translated. I trust God, but skeptical when it comes to man. Since truth means the world to me, especially when it comes to my relationship with Christ, I have to guard my heart and pray for discernment and wisdom. I love your approach and you have gained another follower. I thank God for you and your ministry sister! God bless ans keep you and your family.
Thanks for the great video!! I want to look more into the two different Hebrew words for “in vain”/“vanity” because I found myself just assuming that they would be the same Hebrew word in this psalm & in Ecclesiastes, but they weren’t! Would love to compare and contrast the two
Context matters cuz in Matthew 4 when it talks about the temptation of Jesus, Satan used scripture but he used it out of Context and if we don’t know the context we can go down in a deep dark trail, that is why Bible study is essential to one’s faith.
Ok, so I study primarily the NASB and the ESV along with an interlinear. I really can't see the benefit of reading a loose translation, even if I struggle with the more literal translations. I was leading a Bible Study the other day, and one of my ladies read from The Passion Bible. I'd never even heard of it before! But it was so far OFF the ESV (the version I teach with) that I had a hard time reconciling the actual verse with the "someone thinks this is what the verse says" version. Thoughts? I can draw back to the more literal version from ... like... the NLT but there are SO MANY versions floating around and it concerns me that the younger generation isn't even really reading the Word of God now. Thoughts?
I have learned a lot form you about the Bible and how to get the most out of the scripture. But, as a 84 year old . I have lots of time , but little $. Are there $ short cuts. What I have used was , second hand stores for binders, different Versions of the Bible, note books, paper pens. Asked my pastor if and used Christian study guides were left overs from past classes. Do you have any other suggestions. Also I am looking for pens that high light but do not show up on the backside. What faith does your lead? With you help and true love of God’s LOVE!!!🎉❤
Hi Faith! I love your videos, the depth you cover in a way that’s understandable, mixed with your scrapbooking elements is how I like to approach the Bible. I’m looking for a Bible study that covers all of the gospels in harmony-do you have any recommendations?
Hi quick question English is my second language and because there are not a lot of studies or Bible studies on UA-cam for my native language Dutch I am willing to buy Bible in English, but I’m debating to buy the NLT or the ESV English second language and debating on which one to buy It’s a little bit difficult to choose because I don’t know which one 🙈🙈
Wow your soo in depth now, i need a while to digest and process that, thamkyou for being a cheerful studier, not like the unbelieving critical guys that come out of bible school, its scary they unlearn faith in the process 😊❤
Please someone help me… I am searching for a Bible family tree/ time line. Anything that will help keep me on track with who is who. I get overwhelmed when I loose track of who had who. Where can I find something? Thank you all and God bless!
The main thing to show if someone is tricking you or you've missed something or gone astray if you've got a Hananiah from Jeremiah 28 who says God has said when he has not said or a false prophet from 1 Kings 13: 11-23 who says come my way when God told you to go another is the check your theology with God himself. See Ephesians 4:11-13, Numbers 12:6, 1 Kings 3:5-12, James 1:2-4 The intent of language is to take the idea that the author had in his head and put it in a word so that with his speech he can give the ideas that appeared in his mind to your mind; if you do not have the intent and ideas the author desired you will have a misconception.
Interesting, but how do you know context from straight forward verses? Well, lets just go with example. When Jesus said "to my God and your God" in john 20:17, what is the context? Also john 17:1-3. And the problem with parallel translations is: Well, what does the NIV says about 1 John 5:7? And what does the KJV says? Also 2Chronicles 22:2 in NIV and KJV, which one? I dont see how somebody could reconcile with those verses.
Context is reading around the verse, not just one verse alone. Maybe whole chapters before and after. A commentary might help with context, too. There is ALWAYS context to see, even with so-called straightforward verses. Also, use cross references to help with context.
Holy Spirit, direct me in my career, and finances. As a single mother with two children with special needs life is an overwhelming journey, especially because I’m constantly faced with financial difficulties. Lord I struggle to provide the basic necessities for my sons, like groceries and rent. I pray for your divine intervention in my life, that you would provide for my children’s needs and guide me towards financial stability in Jesus name I pray.
With regards to POV. Too many can lead to confusion and God is not a God of confusion. Anyone can interpret it seems. The Catholic Church has one interpretation and the Catechism. The Lord would not leave his church alone for 1500 years. There has always been ‘tradition’ even in the days of the Apostles. God bless.

If you look at Psalm 121, note, there are six times that the Psalmist uses he word “keep/keeper.” It is the same Hebrew word Shamar.
