  • This is a loop that starts in Parc Angrignon find the Lachine Canal then follows the riverbank until Verdun then link back to Parc Angrignon via Crawford. Basically a loop around LaSalle via bits of Lachine and Verdun. It is nice an protected from all traffic most of the ride. It takes about an hour to complete at a leisurely pace. The video is shot in 4K so you can see the detail of any signs of interest. If you need to drive to the area you can park your car in Parc Angrignon’s parking lot. Parking is free. Angrignon metro is also located in the Park so you can come from another part of Montreal by metro.
Most of the path is excellent quality. The entirety of the trail along the river in LaSalle was resurfaced in the last two years. The Lachine Canal part of the trail is in good condition. Even the parts were you need to follow a bike lane on the street are quite good.
