I want to congratulate you for the way you said those French words, excellent! I was born and raised in Montreal but no longer living there and I went to almost all the places you mentionned. I didn't know there was a zip line! My favourite place? Musée Pointe-À-Callière.
I do not kown when you visited those places but for the pass 5 years many changed occured, near the Zip line there is ''Voile en Voile'' 2016 and a Ferris wheel 2017
Very kind of you to make this beautiful video of the city, don't forget to visit Jean Talon market for the yumminess and bring an empty stomach, the place is huge and they have samples for buyers. 😋👌 For Herbivores and omnivores
Taxes are not included when purchasing keep in mind that it's 14.975% or roughly 15% throughout the province.. $ Exchange booths are downtown Montreal. But it is wiser to use credit. Pan handlers are present but not threatening. Cross body purse or man bag or normal backpack is recommended.. wishing you safe travels and Bienvenue à Montréal ⚘⚜🥳🤗🥰
I sincerely hope you're a troll cuz I've been here 3 years and don't know a single soul who says that they didn't know about these things existing. Everything on the list (except for the Musee Des Beaux Arts lol) are literally places in Montreal that everybody knows about. Oratoire st-Joseph is in a complete makeover and by 2026 you should be able to climb all the way to the top of the cupola which is the second biggest ( read tallest ) after St-Peter of Rome.
May trip this year. My last trip to Montréal wasn’t that great. I was around 7 years old in December with a temperature of 16 below ⬇️. I’m in my late 50’s now. I’m still scarred 🥶
Montreal is an amazing town, And there's no shortage of amazing towns to visit. Im excited to visit Schwartz deli, Do their dripping sandwiches taste good? 😍
Im looking to move to Montreal one day r there any water bugs or flying cockroaches??? I have a huge phobia ans can't live anywhere where cockroaches live outside
If you're a tourist only able to speak english then please don't. Don't waste the time of someone working in customer service to use them as a french teacher.
Most montreal citizen really don't care about what you talk, we really pay attention to what you do. Of course there's a few nuts in every city so we also have some.
not now....driving in Montreal is a Hell and you may damage the shock absorber of your car at high repair cost. Also not sure to find a very quick mechanic repair garage...
I live in downtown- you actually don’t need a car to drive around (especially in Summer) - we have bixis(rent a bicycle) electric mopeds (to rent) and our Metros (trains) are very clean and connects most part of the town.

Montreal until recently prided itself on being the second French-speaking city in the world. Alas, this title is stolen from him, Montreal is becoming more and more englise, most of its inhabitants being bilingual or unilingual English. Thus, it will become another North American metropolis without soul, without singularity, which made its charm and its distinction. The recent Bill 96 to protect French, so decried by Anglophones in Quebec and elsewhere in the country, will not be enough to preserve this character. Also, as long as its mayor, Valérie Plante is in office, the decline of Montreal is assured.
Ta gueule! Boo Hoo, sorry but Quebec will never become an independent country, and that makes lots of separatists sad. Only in Quebec do they pass illegal laws that go against the Charter of Rights (Bills 21, 96) to try and 'protect' the majority. Instead of white privilege in Quebec, they have French privilege when it comes to working! When a people openly discriminate against the freedom of religious choice and minority language education rights, they deserve no sympathy. Boycott visiting Quebec everyone, until the racist government there gets rids of these so-called racist laws.
That is sad to hear. I am sorry. My wife and I were looking to visit Europe next year, but because of money issues, I don't think we will be able to. I thought maybe Montreal would work because of its high French influence. I love the language and would like to experience a bit of its culture.
Yeah, I visit Montreal right now, a bit disappointed with anglophones. It’s convenient to speak English, but that also ripped away Montreal uniqueness, and I never get to practice French language.
@@real_hello_kitty Everyone in Montreal pretty much speaks both English and French. Speak to an anglophone in French, and more often than not, they will happily speak French with you, especially if you are a tourist. English speakers have lived here for 250 years. In the latest census, there are a million Anglos in a province of 7.5 million people. It is a myth that Montreal is a 'French city', it is a multilingual city, in a predominantly French province.
