Senkus street cuts through the industrial part of LaSalle. The shopping mall added to the bicycle trail. There always was the exit out of park Angrirnon. When the Lachine canal trail was added they included the foot bridge to cross. I suspect with the new trail to cross the autoroute this bridge is used by cyclists to get from NDG/Montreal West across the canal to the shopping center.

I am always just one fault away from crashing.

LaSalle borough repaved from the border of LaSalle and Verdun until 2 avenue. They built a pump track at that spot and they should pave the rest until the river. (The beginning of this video). Hydro Quebec removed some pylons on this side of the aqueduct. The power lines cross over to the other side near Boulevard De La Vérendrye once you cross Dollard. Once you reach Verdun the path has been entirely resurfaced in the last 3 years. This will likely be described as a Réseau Express Vélo (REV) in the near future. zyskowski.ca/cycling-the-aqueduct-bicycle-path/

This is true there have been at least two cycling fatalities along the beginning of the route. I seen those painted white bicycles stationed at the place of the accident. I don't think this is the best way to get from one part of the path to another but all the same I decided to film it. The route is on the city map so I added to my channel. For sure part of the route can be improved by the Lachine borough with a little imagination. The urban planning is pretty weak in this part of the island.
