Great video yet again. I made up some simple adaptors to fit the fuel pipe connectors and used a cheap primer bulb and all sorted. These videos are some of the best out there with clear instructions and good camera footage.
Just did this for a Ford Focus Mk2 1.6 diesel 2009. I was a little concerned about priming it but it all went ok. I used the Draper 43986 Diesel Priming Pump from amazon. The connectors didn't fit but... I took the inlet connector off and attached it straight to the exit nozzle of the filter which was a tight fit. It didn't take many pumps of the bulb to pull the fuel through the filter directly from the tank. Connected back up and car started first time. Kept the revs high for a minute or two and all done! Hope this helps someone else.

You can’t, just tested😅 even filled and bleed the filter before attempting. Ended up disconnecting the line from the fuel tank that they do in the video and attached a hose to the end going to the filter and manually filled it through a funnel held high and cranked it until it started, filled the hose up and quickly connected the tank hose again and that seems to have done the trick 👍
This taught me how to swap out my fuel filter due to the old one was causing my car to cut out as i was trying to drive. Could i ask if the top part of the filter (the black plastic part) is removable please ? My reason for asking is that i need to "Flush" out my fuel tank of all the diesel deposits and instead of having to buy at least 2x brand new filters (as they start clogging up with the diesel gunge in them) i was hoping that the black plastic part of the filter is removable so i can clean out the inside of the filter. Got a feeling though it's gonna be a "Sealed Unit" :(
Hi im mechanic U can either prime it on the feed pipe like in the video or u can also prime it by disconnecting the othe house the green one with clear hose thats the return pipe but i normally bleed it from return pipe attaching a primming pump or a drill water pump which u can attach a drill machine thats faster

This filter can only be replaced as an assembly.

How wide is the fluid syringe, 10mm?
What kind of plug has it?
We can’t tell you how wide the liquid syringe is. Please specify the time of the fragment in the video where the plug is.
Size of the hose attached to the fuel line? Thanks
It is not possible to answer your question unequivocally, we recommend that you consult your mechanic.

Perfect
Can you not fill the filter with diesel before you fit it you can with a mondeo.
Hi! You can find this information in the technical documentation for repair of your particular model of car.
What was the pump used for? Just to get fuel to the filter or something else? Doesn't the fuel pump alreday do that?
The pump is used to pump fuel into the filter to prevent air from entering the system.

DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS YOURSELF, YOU NEED TO BLEED THE AIR OUT OR THIS WHICH THEY DONT TELL YOU HERE OTHERWISE YOUR CAR WONT START.

They bleed the air out.
Did you watch the whole video?
They showed you how to do it @charginguk7690
If you can't work to these clear instructions then you best not take any job of this sort on! It clearly shows how to prime the system using the bulb.
