It is not fixed Biblically it is either 40, 70, or 120 years. So we can know the season but not the day or hour. Now there are other signs that are required as well. Sun dark as if covered by sack cloth. Moon as red as blood. One third of the grasses burned, one third of all flesh dead. It is not an event that will be kept secret. There will be a great "falling away" from religion. Lastly will be the appearance of The Anti Christ, not as a human man but as a super natural being. A liar who will claim anything to fool you. He may say he is an alien, christ returned, or here to "rapture" folks away. On that day unbelievers will be fooled and converted. Believers will be fooled and will bow. I was so terrified being just a kid and hearing everyone speaking about the world ending, the day coming and counting down the hours. When the pastor got to the part of the story where she chose her girlfriend over her position at the church, he spoke about her as if she made the wrong decision, and as if something were wrong with her. Coincidentally, I was also the church musician at the time, and had been for nearly a decade. Once I fell in love with my (same sex) boyfriend, I obviously kept it a secret, but I finally left after I decided I was going to be financially independent from that place. It’s not that you don’t love the people and it’s not that those very same church people don’t love you, it’s the concept that “you aren’t living for Jesus” if you aren’t following a long list of rules and regulations. I worked in a Church of England Pilgrims' Hospice in Israel in the 1990's and one woman from Asia booked in saying she had sold her house and car as her pastor told her Jesus was returning on 27th October that year. She left one day leaving two suitcases in her room, which when opened were filled with stolen white towels from various Israeli hotels. I said to the House Manager that if she believed Jesus was returning on 27th October she would need to put those towels back before then! I heard of many such stories in Israel.

I remember heading home from Wednesday night service. Doomsday was the sermon that night. On the way home we looked up at a weirdly low plane lit in the night sky. Everyone on the highway must have been looking at it because what happened next stopped traffic. I can’t remember exactly what was the political atmosphere at the time, but there was a lot of nuke talks going around the adults at church, home, and even school. Just then, as we was all looking at it, something dropped from its backend. It literally just skyrocketed for the ground. Everyone’s first thought, was a nuke. Cars slammed on their brakes and crashed into each other. People got out and was literally too scared to yell at one another, instead they all pointed and wondered. When we saw it dropped my mother turned in her seat and told us she loved us and we’ll see each other in heaven, before throwing herself on top of us children in the floor of the van. It was like that episode of Dinosaurs when they all huddled in front of the tv, waiting for the world to end because the son didn’t want to howl at the moon, and then nothing happens. After about a minute, we looked around and everyone realized it wasn’t a nuke. The cars started to move again and we all went on with our businesses, how bet pretty disturbed. The next day some airline on Facebook posted an apology for a plane having to dump their load? If I remember correctly, I did too. Kinda funny given the coincidence of this happing the same night of our doomsday service.

When I was growing up, anytime there was a lunar eclipse, my mother would demand everyone get together to watch it. I later learned she thought the world was going to end. The pastor, at a church I used to go to, began talking about a time where a single woman was leading the worship service (the music portion).
After a while, it got around to the pastor (who was also my pastor, who is also the pastor telling this story on a Sunday morning) that the single woman had found herself in a full blown lesbian relationship.
This same pastor had the audacity to call her in to a room full of deacons and elders of the church and chastised her for her relationship.
At the end of it all, he forced her to choose between the person she loved or her position at the church.
When the pastor got to the part of the story where she chose her girlfriend over her position at the church, he spoke about her as if she made the wrong decision, and as if something were wrong with her.
Coincidentally, I was also the church musician at the time, and had been for nearly a decade.
Once I fell in love with my (same sex) boyfriend, I obviously kept it a secret, but I finally left after I decided I was going to be financially independent from that place.
It’s not that you don’t love the people and it’s not that those very same church people don’t love you, it’s the concept that “you aren’t living for Jesus” if you aren’t following a long list of rules and regulations.

People should have the right to decide what they want to do and the pastor's job is to remind people what's correct and what's wrong. I worked in a Church of England Pilgrims' Hospice in Israel in the 1990's and one woman from Asia booked in saying she had sold her house and car as her pastor told her Jesus was returning on 27th October that year. She left one day leaving two suitcases in her room, which when opened were filled with stolen white towels from various Israeli hotels.
I said to the House Manager that if she believed Jesus was returning on 27th October she would need to put those towels back before then! I heard of many such stories in Israel.

I remember all of this going down. When I’d go to church with my mom, surprisingly they’d tell us not to ever listen to someone who gives a date for the end of the world. Humans will not know until it’s already happening.
The Bible explicitly states that no one knows when the world will end- not even Jesus (because he's not God)- only God does. It also says that it will end when you least expect it. This is why I can't stand when people who call themselves Christians preach doomsday BS. It's totally unbiblical and actually blasphemous. It's all in Revelations if you wanna take a look.
It's not surprising to be told to ignore doomsday "phrophesies" if you actually read the Bible, but as we all know, a majority of people who claim to be Christian don't actually read it. I remember heading home from Wednesday night service. Doomsday was the sermon that night. On the way home we looked up at a weirdly low plane lit in the night sky. Everyone on the highway must have been looking at it because what happened next stopped traffic. I can’t remember exactly what was the political atmosphere at the time, but there was a lot of nuke talks going around the adults at church, home, and even school. Just then, as we was all looking at it, something dropped from its backend. It literally just skyrocketed for the ground. Everyone’s first thought, was a nuke. Cars slammed on their brakes and crashed into each other. People got out and was literally too scared to yell at one another, instead they all pointed and wondered. When we saw it dropped my mother turned in her seat and told us she loved us and we’ll see each other in heaven, before throwing herself on top of us children in the floor of the van. It was like that episode of Dinosaurs when they all huddled in front of the tv, waiting for the world to end because the son didn’t want to howl at the moon, and then nothing happens. After about a minute, we looked around and everyone realized it wasn’t a nuke. The cars started to move again and we all went on with our businesses, how bet pretty disturbed. The next day some airline on Facebook posted an apology for a plane having to dump their load? If I remember correctly, I did too. Kinda funny given the coincidence of this happing the same night of our doomsday service.
I mean, that’s pretty reasonable when compared to those that believe the rapture is upon them.

The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.

Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.

Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus.
