Definitely want to hear about the business income! I also love YNAB but I have to use a spreadsheet to plan my annual budget and then use YNAB to track the expenses since it syncs w my bank.
For all the haters, if you don’t want to see it then don’t watch. For many of us we find it inspirational to see where you can get to. If that’s not your thing then search low income budget or other creators who are in a similar financial place as you. No one forced you to watch. I’m definitely struggling trying to save for a house in this economy and it sucks but I’m not leaving hate comments on someone when it’s not their fault. Call/write your elected officials so your complaints about the economy might actually do something.

On suggestion to smooth your monthly expense is to build-in known annual expenses, like the healthcare you mentioned you pay in January. I would also establish a bucket for your rental maintenance that you can again collect monthly. Put all these into a HYS or 9month CD where you can continue to earn against the principle. I use this approach for my retirement expenses where I include monthly allocations for travel, life events like weddings, graduation gifts, etc as well as future significant expenses like roof replacements, car replacements, etc. This allows my nest egg to continue to grow smoothly without unexpected withdrawals and keeps my expenses smooth with occasional bumps when costs are more, but nothing dramatic and often I have extra that I can push back into other short-term investment vehicles.

also - if you ever need an idea for a new video, i would love to hear your thoughts and perspectives about dealing with confrontation. i really resonate with you when you say that you used to hate looking at your finances and i'm getting better at this and learning to welcome taking care of my money, but it feels so confrontational sometimes. same thing with business. i struggle so much with confrontation - can you talk about the personal transformation you've gone through to be able to handle it better? i imagine with your business and rental properties and everything you do you have to deal with a lot of confrontation (good and bad). i love your videos! keep being yourself :)

Awesome to hear you have a book deal! Obviously I fell for the clickbait title, but glad all is going well. What is the average revenue and expenses you have for your business though? I think it is good to separate business and personal finance obviously, but it sounds like you are able to pay yourself monthly and have bonuses, so it is quite valid for your personal finance too. It would probably be good for your audience to understand what your 2023 business revenue & expenses & resulting profit were (rounded to not be too personal maybe) and how much you were able to draw from that personally.
People who don't run businesses or don't own rental properties don't understand how much of that revenue/rental income goes towards keeping the business/properties running. Having investment properties are great for us, but we have to set aside a lot of the rental profit (after paying mortgage, taxes, etc.) for a rainy day fund in case the home needs maintenance, repairs or improvements. Not saying we are hurting and not able to pocket a fine %, but people generally mistake how small of a % it actually is.
Edit: Also, congrats on your investment income surpassing your personal expenses in some months. What's crazy is my mortgage is as high as your monthly expenses in many months. Not to mention the sports for the kids and monthly stock buys haha. Income is always a great way to generate wealth while still covering your expenses.

her transformative power of trading is remarkable. Despite being a medical doctor by profession, l've found that copy trading generates higher income for me without the need for direct involvement in trading activities

Wow Sounds great. Do you think it's a good
time to consider selling some crypto, or is better to hold onto them for the long term? I'm considering Rebalancing my $600k portfolio, so I'm curious about the best strategies for potential market downturn

Great content and I appreciate the presentation. The 4% withdrawal rate for retirement accounts is designed for people between the ages of 62 and 65 who expect their retirement portfolio to last 30 years. That 4% withdrawal rate helps to ensure that a retirement account can last 30 years and I believe you are counting on your retirement portfolio to last more than 30 years. If you withdraw 4% per year from your retirement account, you only have a 36% chance of it lasting 50 years according to research done by Vanguard. You would need a withdrawal rate of closer to 2.6% per year in order for your retirement account to last 50 years. Just something to consider and for your viewers to understand. Thanks Rose.

As a person starting out to document my own financial journey, I discovered your UA-cam channel and am very inspired by you. Thank you for your videos! I would love to hear more about your business income. I am searching for more streams of passive income for myself, and would like to know, if you don't mind elaborating, whether your Course Sales are a form of passive or non-passive income. Thank you Rose.
