You have saved my life Dr Berg. I was suffering from dysautonomia since march after getting sick with a viral infection. I started having strange symptoms like heart palpitations, POTs, cold feet and hot forehead without fever, cold intolerance, dizziness and anxiety which was turning into panic attacks. I did my own research and found that my symptoms are matching a lot with thiamine deficiency. I started thiamine 500mg along with a b-complex, magnesium and a good quality probiotic and I'm feeling much better. I cannot thank you enough for your life changing content but still a big thanks from my side. :)
I am glad you’re feeling better. My husband is feeling the same since he got sick with Covid-19 last year. Are taking benfotiamine 500mg or thiamine 500mg?
After listening to Dr Berg, I had my boyfriend start taking this. He is diabetic, alcoholic and has a heart problem. The combination of his bad health and medicine for it, he was so tired he couldn’t function. He was really dragging. I was afraid he was going to die, he was so low in energy. Not even a month, maybe two weeks in, he is a new man. He has the energy to do projects after work and has started woodworking again. I was afraid he was going to have to stop working a month ago! I can’t express how thankful am for the information.
No politician alive has done as much as Dr. Berg in selflessly helping the public. He is knowledgeable and informative and speaks in terms and explanations that are easy for the layman to understand. He is a blessing to those who need help. Many Thanks from all of us, Dr. Berg.
Disagree; Trump gave up his lavish lifestyle to help save this country. He and his family are being attacked constantly. They are trying to kill him, put him in prison etc. maybe when he becomes president again he and Robert Kennedy Jr. can hire Dr Berg to Make America Healthy Again!
You've saved my life Dr Berg. I had a severe B1 deficiency caused by fasting without supplementing electrolytes and vitamins (I'd class myself as very healthy, avid runner and strict keto diet). I knew better, but we all make mistakes sometimes - it was my own fault frankly. Ended up in hospital 2 times where I thought I was going to die, I had severe shakes, huge arrhythmias, chest thumping, swollen feet, the list goes on. Essentially I had Beri Beri - the doctors however told me I had anxiety and sent me home both times. Eventually I fell hopeless and the symptoms continued. I said a little prayer and the next morning I woke up to you posting a video of B1 deficiency and sure as anything, it was that. A week of Benfotiamine and Magnesium (worth mentioning not to take Benfotiamine without taking Mg alongside, at least 400mg) and I was already way back on track. Never comment on these things but I just wanted you to know how much you really do help. Forever in your debt, friend. Thank you.
I've been taking Benfotiamine for the past 2 weeks after seeing one of your videos. The nerve pain I had in my feet and legs are gone. Thank you for teaching me how to heal my body Dr. Berg.
@@Drberg Hi Dr Berg, there is a lot of talk about sugar eating away at your arteries... in my past I ate more sugar than you can imagine... for the past 2 years I have stopped completely and eat keto... I would like to know what to eat to directly target the recovery of my arteries... thank you.
This is the only doctor besides Barbara O’Neil that I think doesn’t keep any secrets to themselves, He’s is pretty straightforward! And I hope to buy your book one day !
I like that this doctor respects us enough to know we can comprehend what he advises. We are not stupid. We can take control of our own health. We are our own best doctors.
I’ve been living in absolute hell for 6 months. Out of nowhere, anxiety, ocd, tics, weak, overthinking.. the list goes on and on. I started load my up on magnesium, a quality multi vitamin and what not… adding the b1 and benofitamine saved me. I can’t tell you the change this made. Thank you.
I've been experiencing chronic fatigue, anxiety, and depression for years and just couldn't get myself together. I started taking benfotiamine just two days ago and I'm already feeling a huge boost of energy, improved mood, and brain function. I can't believe I've been struggling that long when the underlying cause was a simple B1 deficiency. Thank you, Dr. Berg, what you do for people is truly amazing 🙏🏻
@@marzenabaginska1612 would start low dose stated on the label . I suggest you start with simple Thiamine first which Is cheaper.. if it works then great, you can advance to benfotiamine. There is a young British guy which has great videos on this if you search on UA-cam thiamine deficiency eonutrition
Had been getting worsening odd seemingly unrelated symptoms (panic attacks, jumpy heart, shaking, insomnia, inability to exercise, iBS) and saw one on your videos on B1 deficiency I stated taking benfotiamine and thiamine and it made me myself again (almost) Thank you! Without you, I’d have gone through exams and testing with several specialists, been put on horrible medications and never recovered my health
All those symptoms you listed can also disappear by eliminating wheat from your diet. I had the exact same and once I totally got rid of wheat and all other grains, the symptoms stopped dramatically. Diet really is everything.
I've dealt with chronic fatigue and brain fog for the past couple of years of my life. I've implemented Benfotiamine and a B-Complex for the past 3 months, and my overall energy and brain functioning has been stable. I would always be moody, low energy, and just off in a daze with no motivation. I am now more active, more optimistic, and living abundantly with a better mindset with these essential vitamins. No supplement is a cure-all. I've implemented same-time wake and sleep times, intermittent fasting, and a lower-carb approach to my diet. These are all things that have helped my overall way of living and productivity throughout the day.
@@divasv I took 300 mg daily. I did it for about 3 months. After I finished the bottle, I stopped. For me specifically, it would work, but it wasn’t the magic pill. I’d still have days where I would definitely feel lethargic mentally. I’ve recently turned to a carnivore approach, and I’ve experienced more changes from that than from any supplement alone.
Hello DR Birg, I have good news to tell, as I mentioned to you about a month ago that a friend of mine is type one diabetes and every 5 weeks he would have to have a shot in one eye. So I told him about B1 vitamin, as you see I watch your videos a lot. He is been taking B1 not benfotiamene a long with vitamin C. Usually his eye starts bothering him a week before the shot .yesterday he called me and told me that he was improving a lot and maybe next time he will not need the shot. I and him we thank a lot for your kindness and your help. May God bless you Dr.
I had very bad peripheral neuropathy (following blood cancer treatment) and pain in my legs. After a few weeks of Benfotiamine, the pain is gone! I am so happy i found out about this amazing compound, changed my life, i couldn't walk, run or cycle without pain before, now I am fine 😊
The world will be totally different without this man. Dr.Berg you are getting almost 11 million blessing every single day. Remember 11 million hands are praying for you always. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. ❤ from INDIA.
@@Drberghey Dr. I noticed the images of the types of foods you shouldn’t consume in order to avoid insulin resistance is milk one of them as well ? I drink organic grass fed milk
I was showing all the signs of B1 deficiency after starting methotrexate for Rheumatoid arthritis. My Rheumatologist ignored all my concerns (peripheral neuropathy was debilitating) and kept saying all I need is higher dose of methotrexate for aches and pains. I heard that folic acid deficiency impacts absorption of B1 and methotrexate blocks folic acid. Though I was supplementing with folate my symptoms got worse every time I took methotrexate. More over due to wheat allergy I was eating white rice in every meal. No wonder I was deficient. At one point I felt I can’t move my legs to walk and I told my family that it feels like I am about to get paralyzed. I started taking be benfothiamine with other form of B1. I felt like a new person in just two days. Thank full for all the videos online. God is great!
I started taking Benfotiamine from a previous Dr Berg video to help with frequent nighttime urinating, it worked so well but it also cleared up the pain in my feet after a long shift at work. So grateful 😇
@@paviravi4372 i’ve taken a B complex vitamin before the Benforiamine and it really didn’t do anything. But the Benfotiamine is supposed to go right to the mylar sheeting around the nerves because it’s specifically fat soluble.
Dr Berg I have watched a lot of your videos over the years and have had more success following your advice than any doctor I’ve been to. Thank you for your help!
I take this 2 hours before I swim and I have more power. I have peripheral neuropathy, now getting better after taking this with ALA and B12. Plus 1 hour exposure to sunlight daily, do speed things up with healing.
100% true. I take a high-quality B-complex (one that contains Benfotiamine, Folate (as Methylfolate, not as folic acid), Methylcobalamin, and Choline) and it's made a massive improvement in my health.
I don’t know how to express my gratitude Dr. Berg. All I can do is pray and send my well wishes through my prayers on your way. U have given my life back and I have benefited from lots and lots of your videos . I am not mentioning one or two because the numbers are more. God sent you to the suffering humanity. Thank you Dr Berg for you great videos. At age 70 my optometrist said that my optic nerve was thinning and I asked what to do about it and the answer was, come back in years time and we'll see how it's going. I have seen your previous videos of Benfotiamine and I started to take not only one capsule but 3 a day I also started to take Ginko Biloba and Bilberry supplements and now I do not have pain any more in my eyes and also neurological tingling in my toes has disappeared. I'm so glad I found this video! As a diabetic for 35 yrs, nobody in health profession during that time has EVER mentioned anything about any vital vitamins/minerals/'potions' that I should be aware of or could be beneficial to take...EVER! So I've had to pick up bits and pieces of information..here and there and through trial and error I have found things that have improved my 'ailments'. I've only just recently started to take benfotiamine so time will tell if that is the final piece in my jigsaw puzzle. Thank you for good information (in other videos as well) and I love it how well you explain things and make them understandable for us mere mortals.
I just ordered from your website again but this time for my mom to help with the nerve pain and damage on her feet from Diabetes. I already have your magnesium Gly and Hair suppliment and love them both. I am sharing this video with my mom in spanish .

Went to brunch yesterday 5 of us and told them Dr Berg helped me I never forget “if your liver is not functioning properly your thyroid won’t function properly”. The food and nutrients awakening I was longing for. Thank you Dr Berg❤
Your explanation of how antioxidants counteract oxidation was like a lightbulb going off. I never really understood what antioxidants did or why they were so amazing. Now I get it.
I listened to a different video from Dr. Berg and he mentioned cracked heels would respond to benfotiamine. I bought some immediately (I already take alpha lipoic acid) and long story short, in about a month there was a significant improvement. About 4 months now and the cracks are almost gone. Previously I had to keep after them (carefully) with a file because they were so rough but when I say carefully I mean it. If I filed too much and went to deep near a crack it could hurt for days. I am really grateful for this information. My summer feet are finally sandal worthy. As a bonus I think it's helping me fall asleep faster.
Boy, I wish you were my doctor. I just got diagnosed with diabetes on April and I have low iron. I watch all your videos and I’m doing keto with diabetes.
Another great video. I just started on bentofamine. Didn't realize it was fat soluble. Working on targeted exercises to get rid of the invisible organ fat.
I wish my in-laws would listen to reason and take a closer took at to what they are doing to their bodies. This information you have shared is so critical to more improved health and even offer some stabilization to the onslaught of damage that has already been done. I'm certainly taking this to heart and I do not want to make the same mistake.
Sadly most refuse to get off of the carbs/processed foods. My sister won’t and she already has type 1.5 diabetes. Most people would rather suffer poor health than change their diet.
Read many of Dr Berg's video's and related videos concerning B1 Deficiency. I have some of the classic symptoms. I used Benfotiamine today and took four times the does as recommended. After my second dose (8 tablets) my hearing became clearer. I suffer from hearing loss and it is a great relief that there is an instant improvement. Thank you Dr Berg! Watch this space!
I mix it up. I've been on a high dose B1 regimen for 3 months now to great effect. I started with Benfotiamine at 900mg and a liquid B1 with my magnesium before bed. No more "jimmy legs" at night. I then bought a bottle of Thiamax, which is uses Thiamine Tetrahydrofurfuryl Disulfide at only 100mg ( it is more bioavailable so I don't need the super high dose ). I think using ANY form of B1 is gonna help most people. My system has improved greatly since starting this regimen. Best of luck to Team Berg Fans out there.
@@paulasusan63 I use Double Woods Supplements brand of benfotiamine. They come as 300mg per serving ( two pills ). So they are 150mg per pill. I recommend you utilize their expertise for how to slowly increase your intake to a therapeutic dose.
My dizziness is a lot better since I got back on b complex, since reading your video, Dr. Berg. I also notice a lack of bloat, and my fingers feel skinnier, as if I have lost weight. I have been doing fifty bridges, and about thirty squats. I always felt better when lifting 5 to 8 pound weights, but, since my husband's diagnosis of dementia, I got somewhat depressed, and majorly stressed. I have to do most everything, and feeling a mixture of feelings, depending on what happens each day. I have been trying to get him into a neurologist since September. I had read about the increase in dementia at that time, so began to call immediately, but didn't have much success. Our appointment is in latter February, so we can finally see a ray of light in the tunnel...thank you for your vedeos!
Dr. Berg, Dr. Osborne and Elliot understands the importance of B1 Thiamine. Imagine them having a conference video in Thiamine that would be spectacular.😊
Dr. Berg ,I want to thank you ,my feet have been bothering, when I sleep at night, I started taking the b1 you're talking about. In literally one day of taking the b1, my feet no longer bother me.thank you.
Only if so many people would really know and understand this or unless they are too stubborn to! Thank you, Dr. Berg for your great knowledge and hard work that you put into wanting to get people healthy!!!!
Superb video! My daily dose of knowledge 😃👍 Trauma/chronic stress/chronic sympathetic driven state has caused my severe gut problems. Leaky gut, inability to absorb nutrients and severe insulin resistance. This cumulatively has caused debilitating symptoms. I believe the benfotiamine, along with fasting, and a strict keto diet is greatly helping me regain my health. Stay the course! Thanks to you and your health family for all you do! Peace love and blessings!
You will think I'm mad ,but after taking this with heavy duty exercise, I've lost 23kg in 2 years ,taking b1 thiamine, thank you so much ,you've changed my life 😊😊😊
Thank you Dr. Berg! Wonderful information! I'm taking a nerve formula with the Benfotamine and Alpha Lipoic Acid and it has worked wonders on the neuropathy in my feet.
I started using B1 at your suggestion Dr Berg as I had been having burning in my feet. It worked Now I’ve switched to Benfotamine. I also recommend your channel to my clients Thank you for your work
Please create a video about the pros and cons of 24 hours fasting once a week vs 8/16 fasting every day. I can do both and would like to understand the health impacts of both methods. Thank you!
This stuff is amazing. Last year I started to have problems with my legs. Couldn't walk very far or fast, they felt really tight, heavy and I would get burning in my thighs. I would feel tired all the time. I was on thiamine for a couple of weeks, then decided to try benfotiamine, which I've taken for maybe 2 weeks. At first I didn't take the whole 300mg, capsule, I tipped some out. For 3 days I've been taking 300mgs in morning. While walking today I noticed my legs felt really good, relaxed, no burning, light and no trouble walking, I also didn't get tired. I'm very happy with the results so far. Apparently, from what I've read, full benefits are reached in 6 weeks, on 600mg. i'll take another 300mg. capsule in afternoons starting Monday. In tests on my legs, nothing really showed up, and I didn't think it would, my trust in doctors is nil. It seems it was nerve damage. Amazing. I will have to watch the video again. Thanks to the you tube doctors who don't believe in drugs for every ache and pain.
I forgot to add my legs always felt like we're about to cramp, a couple of times they did, and it was about 4 days before my legs stopped hurting. My calves used to ache and feel tender to touch, now it only hurts when I push in too hard.
I went through all kinds of tests to rule everything out. Saw every specialist. Not one mentioned B1. I've heard many people had good results from taking Bi or Benfotamine on this. Channel. I purchased, and Im going to try. My new primary agrees to give a try after I mentioned it. Can't wait to see any results. Thank you Dr Berg for all you do to help us get better. Love your video's.
I saw a different video by Dr. Berg on B1 and picked up some of this Benfotiamine I took 300 mg and literally in 30 minutes my Morton’s neuroma symptoms in my feet was 80% better. I had chronic pain in my legs from a back injury I have lots of sports injuries and I’m very active and very athletic this product is unbelievably effective thank you Dr. Berg.

Best advice is don't take it if you're not getting any of the symptoms. If symptoms don't improve, stop taking it. This is an antioxidant that comes with its drawbacks, specifically that oxidative stress is a requirement for building muscle, and oxidation is a requirement for muscle healing and energy recovery. There is a reason why people who take powerful antioxidants such as "resveratrol" report a significant decrease in performance and recovery. Even with supplements such as Vitamin C that showed a decrease in performance, recovery, and muscle gained in those taking Vit C vs. those that aren't. Unless you have an imbalance or deficiancy, then dont take it.
@@Skelathnah, vitamin B1 isnt antioxidant. It is only vitamin C and E that is antioxidant among the vitamins, not including the minerals and other phytonutrients.

Dr Berg, All your videos on Benfotiamine has immensely helped me. Even at A1C 6.2, I started getting burning sensation in my palms and my eyesight got slightly blurry. I saw this video just in the nick of time. I added Benfotiamine to my order list moments before pushing the order button. I was remembered again why I use it.
After your show on Benfotiamine, I decided to try it. I have been taking Thiamine and it has been helping my arthritis, so I hoped Benfotiamine would help even more. The first time I took the capsule I felt a bit odd, sweating more and my heartbeat was off. I just figured I had to get used to it. The second time I took Benfotiamine it felt like I ran into a wall. I was fine then my heartbeat changed with what I call a hiccup feeling. Then I started sweating profusely and became nauseated. I started to drink more water to dilute the capsule. I had to use a cold wet cloth to help cool me. I took a Benadryl to help counteract the capsule. I went online to read more about the side effects and they matched my symptoms. I will go back to Thiamine. You have helped me so many times with your shows thank you. This time I will pass on Benfotiamine.

Type 1 diabetes is the worse disease to have. The damage it can cause is bad and very scary. Ive been type 1 for over 40 years and im trying my best to not have bad complications. Dr Berg has helped me with all his great information. My concern is though is can we take too many supplements and can they damage the liver. I take several a day so please dr berg can you make video about taking too many supplements. Thanks
YES, PLEASE. Majority of supplements I can’t take, because they end up bogging up my (right) kidney/liver - to where I get immense edema (only really in my ankles; though, I do get a bit puffy in my hands and under my eyes, also). I just had to stop taking a B12 supplement, even though I am severely deficient due to having most of my stomach removed - because it started causing edema. Hell, I just bought Dr. Berg’s brand of liquor Vit. D and had to stop taking it, because of the edema. Also, after a time, I start to develop pain in my right side - sometimes from my liver, sometimes from my kidneys. Which, then causes the tinnitus to get worse, in my right ear (as I lost some hearing due to kidney damage/oxycodone Rx). I do my best to eat beef everyday, to help - as a beef/some dairy/some fruit/coconut water based diet is what I feel best on. It seems that even though I was told it is necessary to supplement, after having bariatric surgery, due to all the health issues I have had, as result of other medical interventions due to surgical and post-surgical complications - diet is the only real successful way I can get the nutrients I require. I definitely understand your struggle, for sure - and I can imagine it’s much more difficult, because of the type 1 diabetes. My prayers are with you.
If supplements are taken right, you would only need them to recover the damage made by a disease. After that, you may be better off the supplements. I mean, literally feel better without them. But one never knows, so is worth experimenting to find the right personal balance. It may take up to a few years to recover. If one has an incurable incident disease (like T1DM), he is required to always supplement with some stuff. In case of T1DM, it is insulin. Also B1, because many people with T1DM develop a parallel insulin resistance that eventually leads to T2DM. And people with both T1DM and T2DM feel terrible! So, if the situation is left unmanaged, it may significantly hinder the quality of life.
I got this version of B1 relatively recently and keep forgetting that's fat soluble. I am so used to taking B group vitamins with water at any old time because they're usually water soluble, but with fat soluble vitamins they need some kind of fat or oil to bind to in order to be absorbed properly. I'm glad I saw this video as it acts as a reminder to me to take the Benfotiamine at the same time I take my other fat soluble antioxidants (such as E) which I usually take straight after a meal which has some amount of fat or oil in it. At a pinch you can use full cream milk and chug it down with that. As long as it has some fat to bind to.

Thank you.

While walking today I noticed my legs felt really good, relaxed, no burning, light and no trouble walking, I also didn't get tired.

If a Dr asked me that, I’d look for another one … but Dr Berg is my virtual doctor nowadays
I may have missed this, but does this help with migraines? I have been told by the VA to take B vitamins. Thanks
thank you dr berg- i have four children, two are type 1 diabetics, i’m definitely starting them on this now!!
Most welcome! Be well!
Good for you!!! I have all of my kids on low carb/keto and none of them are diabetic but know it’s best for their health!
@@sandib9921that's where I think I went wrong
I was wondering if compression socks actually help? I have been doing the keto diet for the last 2 1/2 months and I’ve lost 41.4 pounds, I’ve learned a lot from your videos. Thank you 😊
i have problem pain on my left knee and wearing a compression sock on it helps me go to work and stand for hours
Yes, I’ve found they do
Well done on the weight loss. 👍

I just ordered some B1 complex with Alpha Lipoic Acid and Benfotiamine...pricey for 600mg, 250 count...but I'm worth it.
Dr.Berg is a super star in the world. thank you million times
I tried 150mg benfothiamine in the morning and 150mg in the evening and my blood pressure went from 115/72 to 156/102 that evening with chest pain. Blood pressure back to normal but lingering ache in chest.😢
Lesson learned... Check vitals after introducing something new.
That's scary! Did you ever find out if it was caused by the benfotiamine?
I have an update! I started using benfotiamine with r alpha lipoic acid after being affected by Cipro toxicity. It's my second day of the two supplement and today I was able to feel my fingers bend again without much pain and my shoulder's pain disappeared. I'm happy ❤. Try it !
Hi so good to hear someone who’s been on cipro (horrible drug) my husband has had to have this 2 x for a good 3-4 weeks at a time even though he kept telling them it made him feel dreadful he couldn’t breath on it make him so sick so we stopped taking it
He’s not been himself since severe anxiety breathing troubles etc could I ask you’re experience please and how much of each you take and what brand please Thankyou
Your wife is blessed and so are you, Dr. Berg. You have a wonderful intellect and soul.😊
I saw this video just in the nick of time. I added Benfotiamine to my order list moments before pushing the order button. I was remembered again why I use it.
That's great. Stay safe and healthy!
You have helped me quite a bit Dr. Thanks for your video's, I'm very appreciative of them.
Did you figure out why it would have caused that. Could it have been low potassium since it depletes electrolytes they say.
Well I’m thanking Dr. Berg for the millionth time for the helpful advice that I have responded to…..and gotten better on! So grateful. Ahna
I have radicular neuropathy due to a spinal injury and now I have hypothyroidism and psoriatic arthritis. My average pain level is an 8. I pray for a 7 day! I take so many supplements to try to mitigate damage.
You haven't discovered fasting, I'm guessing.
Could it be arachnoiditis? Did you rule it out?
@@ThePallidor Yes, it did nothing to help. The thyroid issue is probably a pituitary problem.
@@DinaraBakirova-um9zd I know I have spinal arthritis, I broke L5 and was born with double hip dysplasia. At this point, nothing fazes me. I am going to ask my doc about the arachno. Thank you🫶🏼
I am taking 600 mg a day to try and help get rid of my tinnitus. I’ll let you know how it works out. I just started it yesterday..
I would like to know if Benfotiamine has helped you - as I have the same issue of tinnitus and currently doing acupuncture, seen some slight relief but not constant relief it comes and go.
Yes, please update on this as I also have had tinnitus for many years and I would like to try benfotamine.
I purchase Dr. Berg's Allithiamine, which is the natural version of Benfotiamine. I've seen results with Allithiamine that Benfotiamine did not deliver for me. Something to keep in mind if Benfotiamine does not work well for you!
@@XOChristianaNicoleYou can get b12 sublingual to avoid the digestive problems.
I have the same question. I’m a supplement junkie, so I’ve always worried about this.
@@davidtrindle6473 I wonder if sublingual b12 can help avoid getting the acne that b12 often causes.
Great videos on B1. You really really must add a bit on paradoxical reaction though! Everyone starting b1 needs to know about this.
Please give us a link so we can educate ourselves.
So please could you explain that to help us in case we miss it
Please peter-mo37.
As we don't always catch the inter linking info dueto work or hospital apps
Yeah tell us
Dr. Berg, you've done more research on B1 than maybe anyone. Thanks for all the videos and relentless work.
I'm glad I could assist you.
