      Looks good man! How do you like the ride? Also, do you get any rubbing with the 285's on the stock wheels?

    The Methods rims seems to be very popular. Why is that?

  • @flyingflight
    @flyingflight 3 роки тому +2

    I like the method wheels but can't stand the center hub , that protrudes outward. It looks terrible.

    For the 295, I noticed mudflaps were removed but at 1:46, I didn't notice any fender modifications. Did this set up not require it?

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  4 роки тому +2

      That's correct, Francis. We remove the flaps only with a BMC. No fender modification needed. Once the suspension settles in and the alignment is fine tuned, there will be no rubbing with that setup.

      What if the wheels had a -18 offset? Would 295/70/17 rub at all on a 17x9.5inch -18 offset wheel considering mud flaps removed and BMC done?

    I’d like to get my 4runner done from you guys. I have a question, what’s the best set up if i want to lift 3 inches to avoid rubbing? Thanks

  • @wheelman8637
    @wheelman8637 4 роки тому +3

    Is that a plate welded in for the BMC? I'm running 255/85 17s and get a slight rub at full lock.

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, all of our BMC's are welded. There are other factors such as wheel width, offset, and alignment settings.

    is there a benefit to mixing manufacturers? why not just go with dobinson struts and coils?

    What does that yellow tank that the gentlemen used?

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  4 роки тому +2

      I believe you're referring to the Cheetah Bead Seater? It assists in seating beads for tires that are stubborn with beading onto the wheel.

    Its unfair seeing all these brand new California 4runners coming in to your shop. Go to any shop in the midwest and the vehicles are rusted to the rafters.

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  4 роки тому +1

      Haha! We love working on new trucks. There's no rust, broken, and corroded parts. But that doesn't mean that we don't do them. We still work on older vehicles quite frequently. Thanks for viewing, Hunter!
