Bruh, started watching some of these live (not live really) and the craftsmanship you demonstrate shows us all just how in tune you are with your craft. I am in AWE of your skillz bruh. Well Done again.
Hi, excellent work you do. Hope you can help me. Question, I use quick dry oil size for imitation gold and silver leaf. Can I use spray max 2k clear over the gold and silver leaf? Would there be cure or dry times of the size?
There is a decent sized crease in the leaf @15:43. Looks like it is still there after you sand over it. Cant tell if it is still there after the clear coat though. How are lines and things like this covered up? I am about to take the dive into using leaf and your videos have been a great help!
Real question, do I have to buy all this limewire stuff or will I go to hell if I make glue from water and dissolved geletan caps (pill casings) and homemade cotton/felt spinners the way we did in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s?
I tried laying out some silver leaf on a half helmet I painted, and I was wondering why it looked so beat up, and now I know it's because I didn't tuck in my edges! Bummer I already put the final clear on it or j would try to fix it.

Can't wait to get my leafing supplies. Time to learn something new 😁🦖
Awesome
Adam, how long should the glue dry before pulling the tape and start turning?
Just a few minutes for the glue to dry. You don’t need to wait to spin the leaf
Great video!!! Can’t wait to give this a try

What do you hook up to the small spray gun ? Also do you know the model of the spray gun from harbor freight ?
Ordering supplies now. How long do you wait roughly before turning it?
You don’t have to wait

Yes, it’s still there slightly. If you see this the best case scenario would be to leaf it one more time.
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint Thanks for the tip!

trigger style airbrush
Is there a certain amount of time you wait before you spin the leaf
No. You don’t have to wait.
You and Vanderslice are some great artist have you done any work with him.
Yes, he is my good friend
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint you and Rob should do a live together.7
Is there any reason why you don't cut the sheets vertically in half and not have as much waste
You’ll find once you do it you need to waste a little bit in order to get the sheets on smooth and correctly

Spinners are never available.

How do you know that it is true custom work? it is not 100% symmetrical and perfect. Little things like that give custom work character!
