- Hey everyone! Today is kind of sad because I will be leaving my all my fish for 2 whole weeks. I will be leaving my dog Browny too :( In this video, I show you how I prepare my fish tanks before I head of for my trip. I’ll be back soon and there will be videos for you to watch while I’m gone so make sure you watch out for that!

They are doing well :)
Ryo san, there is no reason to worry. I keep fish in many tanks, all in all, it is over 900 liters. I had been in a hospital for two and a half months and had no one to look after my fish. None of them died, and the water quality did not deteriorate. If you do a good 50% water change and clean your filters is sufficient. Next time you travel you might consider conditioning your fish for the "fasting" period by giving them a bit more for 10 days. Believe me, they will survive.
That’s awesome to hear that all your fish survived without food for such a long period. Hope that you’re alright. Being in the hospital for two and a half months must not have been fun.

In Canada ( where I am ) Asian arrowana have to come with certificate and are microchipped. If not they are illegal or fake. Our Asian arrows come imported from Singapore. Have a fun trip !

I don’t do much maintenance. I do a water change once a month. The plants keep the water clear and you just have to find the right balance of plants, fish, light, and food

In the USA we can't even get Red Arowanas totally against the law to even import the farmed raised ones . The only ones we can get CITES permits for are the silvers.

Not just Reds, but any Asian Arowana. Depending on the state you’re in, you can get Silvers, Black, African, Jardini, and Lei (South American, African, and Australian). I think Florida only allows Silver Arowanas.
@@@benzjamin13 It's probably how CITES works but not 100% sure. I know with endangered , cultivated plants you can only buy them in the state that they were grown in .

Im 99% sure that all legally bought asian arowanas has to be tagged. No matter where in the world they are sold to :) its because of the CITES agrement :)
