    To easily reset your line, tie on something that floats and/or adds resistance when reeling, like a floating plug.
    Let all the line out and reel it back in so it’s nice and tight

    One thing that I do if I'm out in a boat or a creek and my line is messed up. I put my line out in the water and let the current take it, then reel it back in after a few minutes, Most of the time it cleans up any mess that I have in the line. I do this most of the time if I have a lot of line twist.

    • @BamaSaltwater
      @BamaSaltwater  Рік тому +4

      @@BamaSaltwater that was my thoughts. 😅😂 I usually have anywhere from 250-500yds on mine. I can only imagine having to do it that way on certain fishing days. Others, I might have the patience for.

    Personally, I feel the best solution to the declining flounder population was not raising the size limit and reducing the creel limit… they should have simply outlawed gigging/spearing founder.

    Nice group of flounder there. I'd be happy with those. Here in NC, they have cut our flounder season to 1 month. We have 3 species of flounder here. Gulf, summer, and southerns. One of those is in a bit of decline, so they stop all flounder fishing for 11 months. They don't seem to be in a decline to me though. We can catch them like no tomorrow some days. Oh well, great video.
