I like your choice Shaun, that would definitely be my engine of choice as well! Still a monster with power but less parts to fail when you're in the middle of nowhere and you won't empty your fuel tank in 2 hours haha
Nah... You need boost in 10k+ elevation - I would prefer it in 7k+. Once you have 1.5+ bars on tap, you're not worried about elevation changes. Superchargers are OEM on a TON of 'important' vehicles these days and have been proven dead-nuts reliable. Just breaks more parts because of the off-idle torque. The old roots blowers are what caused that mindset that they're not reliable. With computers and modern manufacturing methods, your chances of breaking a supercharger are about the same as losing the bottom rotating assembly.
I have my UD 60's sitting in my garage as we speak. waiting on my Nitto Trail Grappler 40's to arrive before starting the install. I really wish I had a shop because these crates are awesome, and would make good part bins.
Awesome build Shaun! Didn't even realize AMW offered the custom Dana60's for it, but makes a lot of sense. I think the 426 is the perfect balance of power and reliability for what you do. Congrats!
Super stoked about the build! Of all the ridiculous UA-camr jeep builds I think you will actually use it to its full potential. Excited to see the videos in the hopefully very near future of you pushing it.
Super great that you show these guys at what they do best, awesome job, and giving credit where credit is do, its nice you show their work💯👍 Gotta love the Ginger fun 😅
the smile on your face from the passenger seat......I can only imagine what must be going through your mind, "soon I will be driving this everyday!" congrats!!!!
I wish I was rich enough to afford a swap like this. I love my Mojave, got it in Gobi last July but miss having that V8 power of a full size truck. Congrats on the new build!
that's the perfect choice, I had a 3rd gen 4runner... i'm thinkin about doing a swap with a v8 tundra engine in it.. It'll be the perfect power to weight ratio for it.
I haven’t really followed the channel much over the past year. And I was watching a video the other day thinking. Man he needs a hemi swap. And what do you know lol. Looks awesome 👏🏻 can’t wait to see it eat some trails
Thank you for another interesting video. I didn't realize that Jeep Gladiator has so much capacity and room for mods and tuning. Awesome rig! It replaces Land Cruiser 79 series in my dream list. It would be interesting to see 4Bt diesel engine swap or something similar.
I really love the sounds Casey's Demon Mojave makes, but I think your NA build makes a bit more sense for higher elevation off road. Looking forward to the content! The Ginger definitely has a way with words lol, "aluminum and cutting board" skids made me laugh
@ shaun -- instead of the metal cloak reinforcement bracket i'd consider the full extended travel rear kit from teraflex -- i have it and it's great. only thing i'm not sure if it's compatible with dana 60 or if they have a mod for it
I removed my JT rear sway bar all together at about 5k miles. 25k after that, still can’t notice its gone. Would highly recommend trying it and see if you REALLY need yours with the risk of the damage its caused so many people
I love watching these builds I love watching your bill I love watching KC2 fifties build cause the Ginger makes it so funny like when he speaks and hes assembling everything it's just you gotta love the humor that he adds to your episodes both yours and Casey's the Ginger is definitely how do I say this a comical guy And that Jeep literally is a monster like you said you'll be able to take it anywhere and go anywhere!
I can see the VI's already for the wheels being wider than the flairs. They have been cracking down on that pretty much everywhere in the lower mainland the couple of years. It is a great looking rig though.
Don't forget the beadlocks. BC's MVA doesn't allow for those either. The hydro-assist is legal because it still uses a drag link but it's a grey area that some uninformed 5-0 will ding you for.
Its crazy all the mods you have done over the years. Not sure what is sponsored or if the shop is doing it for free for publicity. You should do a video on how much you have spent over the years on upgrades, labor costs, on all 3 of your vehicles. Awesome to see!
I can't get into price specifics because I obviously get a special rate, but I can say it was still expensive and the most expensive thing I've ever done to a Jeep.
Absolutely wicked build but you have to get rid of those candlestick headlights lmao. I used to have the same Halogen ones and I went with Oracle Oculus-bi led and am not looking back, almost as good as factory Mopar LED headlights. I can't wait to see future videos.
Nice build ❤ love the content 😊 I would love to know what the price tag would be If someone walks into EAO and asks for a build like Shaun I’m sure you could do a price break down video on this topic. Can’t wait to to see the new rig in action.
Casey's older Jeep Eco-Diesel was $100K with accessories 3-4 years ago, probably $200K for the recent Demon. I'd say Shaun is in for $150K+ with the engine/axle package & install.
Love how Canadian's say, "Process" and "Progress". My wife is Canadian, I tease her all the time. Sick Gladiator, glad I didn't have to pay for all this fun stuff.
Love your choice Shawn keep it simple, I found that out when I lived in outback Australia. Next time you see the Ginger Ninja ask him what engine he would put in Cheers👌🇦🇺
You made some impressive changes to that Jeep. I'm glad you guys can do this kind of work. That hemi will post some awesome 0-60 numbers. I'm thinking I would personally go for the turbo diesel option. It puts out 440 pounds of torque so I suspect it comes from the factory with stronger axles that wouldn't need to be changed out.
I really hope that you start working with Casey more. I miss the camaraderie between you guys. Oh ya and the chance to watch your badass builds in action!!! Hell Ya!
It is literally my only complaint about my Gladiator is the 3.6L is very underpowered. I would love to do the V8 swap. The 392 swaps are currently running around $35K USD down here though. And again man your videos are just amazing!
Simple, Casey_250 got a laser to do trail surgery, Shawn got a sledgehammer. I’d go for the sledgehammer too. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Seeing both do their thing will be “Epic” 😉❤️🇺🇸
Hey Shaun I believe you mentioned you put a new ICamper on the GFC rack. Is that right? I'm super curious to hear why! Awesome build!! My truck runs on 40's your gonna love em!!
It's an iKamper awning! Hardshell. Really cool awning. There's a link in the description if you want to see more info on it. And thanks! I love 40s already. Drives so planted.
@@TheStoryTillNow Great! Thanks for the reply, I'll check it out. I've been watching and waiting to hear if the GFC are as good as they claim. I've rebuilt my 77 F150 based on Nate from Dirt Lifestyles Land Rover build on SD axles. Love your content! Would love to wheel with you guys some day.
As cool as this is, it just seems like it’d be a hinderance to what you actually do. My 2 door with the 3.6L (smaller tank, I know) is always needing fuel after wheeling. For the first time in 20 years of wrangler ownership, I’m considering bringing extra fuel on trail days. Are you adding a big extended range tank?
I think someone is going to be doing a bit more laundry in the next few weeks if that ( ) grin is any indication! Nice choice of assembly in both part selection and crew as well. I just don't think NASCAR is ready for a Ginger yet.
As the owner of 3 S/C vehicles and a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon, I think it’s always interesting to hear or read people talk about how a SC automatically generates more heat and how it reduces your fuel mileage. No, those things aren’t true. All a SC does is force a larger volume of air into the engine, allowing the engine to run more efficiently and generally they increase fuel mileage on a vehicle.
Absolutely awesome build. To get the HPs and the axles, wheels, tires at the same time is the way to go. On a side note, it was 1 degree F or -17 C at our place in western NC Saturday morning. You guys can keep that shit up there. No way I could stand that for long. Y'all must have different blood than use Southern boys.
Superchargers were invented for aircraft precisely for the ability to function at altitude. I'm sure you've got a nice engine there but for anyone making an engine choice, altitude is a reason to choose a supercharger.
Congratulations on the upgrade! Many grins and giggles with the new horsepower. Any issues with wider axles and tires not tucked under fenders now for on road driving?

I know it’s all about the Jeep experience, but, the Ginger’s cinematic presence cannot be overlooked. 🤙
I second that motion 💯🤙

I love how you did the whole build all in one video! Rig looks killer!
Thanks! I didn’t want to drag it out too long. Just getter done and out doing some adventures.
I like it too!
I have my UD 60's sitting in my garage as we speak. waiting on my Nitto Trail Grappler 40's to arrive before starting the install. I really wish I had a shop because these crates are awesome, and would make good part bins.

Thanks 👍
This is so awesome. Can’t wait for you to take this out on the trails. I love the growl over the whine. Way more functional and usable.
Love those 40" tires. I can only imaging when aired down, how nicely they'll wrap around and grip rocks.
Can't wait to see it out on the trails! Rig looks great, and the Ginger is a madman. Don't think anyone can hold back a smile driving a Hemi.
This is awesome, and I definitely think you made the right choice going with the engine you did. I wouldn’t want to worry about the supercharger.
Metalcloak makes the best lifts the best bolt on armor etc
Super stoked about the build! Of all the ridiculous UA-camr jeep builds I think you will actually use it to its full potential. Excited to see the videos in the hopefully very near future of you pushing it.
That's the plan!
Super cool build. I like the 392 426 swaps. I don’t care for all the extra coolers and pluming the 6.2 supercharger comes with. Great video!!
Super great that you show these guys at what they do best, awesome job, and giving credit where credit is do, its nice you show their work💯👍
Gotta love the Ginger fun 😅
I prefer GROWL over WHINE
Ginger & the boys did a great job. Jeep looks amazing!! You had a smile ear to ear. 😂. Can't wait to see it in action. 👍☃️
Can't wait!
What a sweet motor and what a crew. Hats off to epic for this built.
Thanks!
Super. Ordered the metal cloak. Lift and 38s going on next week
Right on
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣you guys are so funny! You need to cook a meal for Ginger next trip out to thank him for all his hard work!😊
Dude i wanna see this rig and eddies wayalife rig on the same video, that would be a dope collab!
Talk about livin the dream… that’s one sweet rig brother. Can’t wait for your next video!
Yes finally seeing the Next Venture bumper in textured black! Looks even better than raw
That thing is badass! sounds incredible and they did a great job putting it all together! Can't wait to see it out on the trail.
You guys and Epic Outfitters make great videos. The Ginger is awesome!!!
the smile on your face from the passenger seat......I can only imagine what must be going through your mind, "soon I will be driving this everyday!"
congrats!!!!
It's really fun. I can't wait to see what it can do on the trails.
Awesome build! I am hoping to get those bumpers soon on my gecko, although probably going with the bit wider aluminum adventure series front bumper.
That thing is a beast, dude! RIP BC trails, RIP.
I wish I was rich enough to afford a swap like this. I love my Mojave, got it in Gobi last July but miss having that V8 power of a full size truck. Congrats on the new build!
thats awesome bro, congrats, this is a Beast now
Thanks!
I watched this for the soul purpose of seeing Ginger bless the union of Motor and Frame.
Oh holy fright! That sound sent chills down my spine! Absolutely wicked
My dream truck, I'm living vicariously through you Sean and your episodes can't wait to see the trail destroyer in action!!!
that's the perfect choice, I had a 3rd gen 4runner... i'm thinkin about doing a swap with a v8 tundra engine in it.. It'll be the perfect power to weight ratio for it.
Wow! So sooooo jealous! Shaun you gotta do a meetup soon so we can all see this new monster
I like that you went with the 426. That's the direction I'm leaning if I ever get the chance.
Youve defiantly earned this truck! Can't wait for you to take us all for a ride! Needs a new name. I think normal aspiration was a good choice.
600+HP, that is a nice V8. With that much power, you should have no problem breaking those new beefy dana60 axles at an inopportune time.
The sound it’s amazing! We will enjoy this beautiful sound on the next roads! Congratulations for this great modification!🎉
Natural aspirated V8, my favorite! ❤️
Can't wait to se it on the trail!
So cool to see this build take off. So excited to see the Trail Destroyer take on some tough trails
If I had a Jeep Gladiator I'd honestly build it the exact same way as yours mate. Love your videos and keep them coming.
Thanks 👍
Oh Man that just purrs and the tyres are awesome. The best build so far.
Thanks 👍
You need to have The Ginger on more, he seems awesome!

Good call on the non supercharged but still, that Mojave...ish is righteous!
Solid content as always Shaun.
