Awww thank you so much lovely Janet. Yes I think I'm feeling the absence of those I love so much more this year. Between Mum not being 100%, David and I being so far apart and my injury still not permitting to live as I wish, it's all been a lot on top of daily decisions, planning etc. Just a lot on and no one to share the load with. As you said, we move forward despite all those things because we are doing it for those we love as well as ourselves. I'm proud of what I've achieved despite the hiccups and I'm so grateful to you and all our gorgeous followers for the tremendous support and love you show us. Hello Marcia, thank you for opening up and for being so honest and frank. You are human after all and when you miss your loved ones it makes it so much more difficult 😞 emotionally. Try not to keep yourself isolated as I think you are trying not to by going out which is a good sign. I was wondering why David was not around have I missed something? I don’t understand why he’s not with you. I am not asking for you to explain. Don’t get me wrong. That’s your business. Remember what you are feeling is temporary and this too shall pass. You are weathering the storm right now within your own being. The lack of community can be very difficult. I know I’ve travelled and lived in different places in Canada from the East Coast of Canada to the West Coast of Canada and I relate with you. I got over it by meditating, it has helped me come to a place of peaceful acceptance. Maybe this is the time to start writing your book. Check on your vitamin D3 levels, the lack of it can create mood swings and depression. I highly recommend it ciao, Bella. 💞💐🌈

I’m juggling a million things at once whilst still injured and in pain, so things just become rather overwhelming at times. I’m used to living alone, as I did so for many years before meeting David, so that’s not really the issue and I know I’m so blessed to have David’s love and support but at times we all feel like we have too much on our shoulders I guess, so that’s just my reality right now. I love your video this week, I love how you give the details of such things as the bus stop and where to stand, and where you can find it as well as all the different shops in those towns. I do enjoy all these details in your videos, all the nature scenes, just every little thing I feel like I am living the life in Italy through you through your eyes. I see what I wanna see as well. I’m sorry you will feeling under the weather, I know it’s not fun, especially as you explained you have more money going in then coming out, boy do I know that feeling. Hopefully it will get better, and I truly hope that one day I will find a home in these towns around you because I love that area especially the spa town, I’m a spa person. I love the thermal water so I definitely have that on my list to lift somewhere where I can jump on the bus and go to thermal pool. I’m hoping one day once you start renting your little place that you are restoring that I can come over and stay there for a while especially when your husband is gone so you won’t feel so alone !

Just a constructive criticism. Chianni is pronounced with a hard Chi or “key-an-EE”. That’s because there is a consonant h after the C so you give it a hard ch sound. If there is a vowel after C like Ciao, it’s a soft c like church.

Hello Marissa, I enjoy watching your videos and I extend my warm wishes to you and your husband David in Italy. I’m somewhat baffled myself over the correct pronunciation hearing your response. If you compare Chianni to Chianti, for example, to be consistent, they both should be pronounced alike. You don’t use a soft “chi”like church with Chianti but, of course, it’s pronounced with a hard “key” sound. The same would apply to Chianni since they use the same spelling at the beginning. The consonant “h” after c results in a hard “key” sound. I, however, don’t by any means declare myself an expert and the first one to correct your Italian pronunciation is, of course, a native Italian!😂Let the mayor of Chianni decide this issue! Ask he or she, what is the correct pronunciation of Chianni? And please let me know. All the best! I wish I was there with the both of you. My nickname is Gus and I am from the states. Cheers! ❤

I’m sorry about the confusion on this discussion. I thought I heard you use the soft chi sound at the beginning of your video. I went back and at this point you did pronounce the name of the town but I’m not sure what town you were referring to at this point. I thought I heard you pronounce Chianni with a soft chi, but may well have been absolutely incorrect. My sincere apologies if I misinterpreted your pronunciation of Chianni. It’s somewhat basic beginner Italian so I didn’t mean to make light of your Italian pronunciation or language skills. 😊

Hi Marisa, I really understand how you feel, I am in a similar situation in many ways...on those hard days I keep telling myself how lucky I am to have what I have (acceptance+gratitude+live in the present+trust the universe) but yes those down days come around don't they. The solitude at night is difficult for me. I also work from home but am in a lace that doesn't resonate. Something that keeps me going is my plan to move to Italy, starting with more trips! Take care and if I could fly over on a magic carpet and have a coffee with you, I would. You always see the beauty and this too shall pass (is another of my mantras). Awww thank you so much lovely Janet. Yes I think I'm feeling the absence of those I love so much more this year. Between Mum not being 100%, David and I being so far apart and my injury still not permitting to live as I wish, it's all been a lot on top of daily decisions, planning etc. Just a lot on and no one to share the load with. As you said, we move forward despite all those things because we are doing it for those we love as well as ourselves. I'm proud of what I've achieved despite the hiccups and I'm so grateful to you and all our gorgeous followers for the tremendous support and love you show us. Remember what you are feeling is temporary and this too shall pass. You are weathering the storm right now within your own being. The lack of community can be very difficult. I know I’ve travelled and lived in different places in Canada from the East Coast of Canada to the West Coast of Canada and I relate with you. I got over it by meditating, it has helped me come to a place of peaceful acceptance.
Maybe this is the time to start writing your book. Check on your vitamin D3 levels, the lack of it can create mood swings and depression. I highly recommend it ciao, Bella. 💞💐🌈

I have lived alone so many times during my life but this seems to be the hardest as I miss David so much when we are separated by work/life circumstances. I take vitamin D everyday and have done for years … it’s a wonderful vitamin! I know I’ll get through this and make the right decision in the end. It’s just been a massive year and I’m still healing mentally & physically so it has taken its toll on me.

I’m juggling a million things at once whilst still injured and in pain, so things just become rather overwhelming at times. I’m used to living alone, as I did so for many years before meeting David, so that’s not really the issue and I know I’m so blessed to have David’s love and support but at times we all feel like we have too much on our shoulders I guess, so that’s just my reality right now. Buongiorno amica mia. You've done so well getting through hot Agosto. Understandably you've had some difficult challenges & thanks so much for sharing. I love your video this week, I love how you give the details of such things as the bus stop and where to stand, and where you can find it as well as all the different shops in those towns. I do enjoy all these details in your videos, all the nature scenes, just every little thing I feel like I am living the life in Italy through you through your eyes. I see what I wanna see as well.
I’m sorry you will feeling under the weather, I know it’s not fun, especially as you explained you have more money going in then coming out, boy do I know that feeling.
Hopefully it will get better, and I truly hope that one day I will find a home in these towns around you because I love that area especially the spa town, I’m a spa person. I love the thermal water so I definitely have that on my list to lift somewhere where I can jump on the bus and go to thermal pool.

Just a constructive criticism. Chianni is pronounced with a hard Chi or “key-an-EE”. That’s because there is a consonant h after the C so you give it a hard ch sound. If there is a vowel after C like Ciao, it’s a soft c like church.

Hello Marissa, I enjoy watching your videos and I extend my warm wishes to you and your husband David in Italy. I’m somewhat baffled myself over the correct pronunciation hearing your response. If you compare Chianni to Chianti, for example, to be consistent, they both should be pronounced alike. You don’t use a soft “chi”like church with Chianti but, of course, it’s pronounced with a hard “key” sound. The same would apply to Chianni since they use the same spelling at the beginning. The consonant “h” after c results in a hard “key” sound. I, however, don’t by any means declare myself an expert and the first one to correct your Italian pronunciation is, of course, a native Italian!😂Let the mayor of Chianni decide this issue! Ask he or she, what is the correct pronunciation of Chianni? And please let me know. All the best! I wish I was there with the both of you. My nickname is Gus and I am from the states. Cheers! ❤

Hi Marisa, I really understand how you feel, I am in a similar situation in many ways...on those hard days I keep telling myself how lucky I am to have what I have (acceptance+gratitude+live in the present+trust the universe) but yes those down days come around don't they. The solitude at night is difficult for me. I also work from home but am in a lace that doesn't resonate. Something that keeps me going is my plan to move to Italy, starting with more trips! Take care and if I could fly over on a magic carpet and have a coffee with you, I would. You always see the beauty and this too shall pass (is another of my mantras).
