Hi Richard! I just found that you are in NZ!!! Where did you get your CL60? I can’t find any dealer in nz and if I purchase from Amazon, I am not sure if the power supply from US will work. Please help me out!! Thanks!
Thanks Barry, i think even normal price it is quite good value as it's a very solid metal construction and the ability to combine multiple lights together is quite a killer feature too.
Hi Richard, thanks for the in depth video. Has there been any issues with the CL60 since then? And how did you mount the light on a tripod? Are you able to screw an adopter to the bottom of the mount? Please let me know if you would recommend this light over Amaran 60x. Cheers!
I bought it thanks to your review, I was choosing another brand but after your video I changed my mind, I ordered just one for testing, if it works fine I will buy another 9, maybe you could recommend an USB charger of 4V , greeting!
yes that would be great. But there are some solutions for it. Like this guy created 3D model with umbrella holes that you can 3D print :) thangs.com/designer/newtechcreative
It should work well especially close up shots and the CL60 has adjustable temperature output so that's great too. If you want to do wide angle shot that needs more power, then you could have a few CL60s joined together.
@@TheRealRichardWong okay, i reckon it should be fine with 1 medium softbox for 1 sided light. Will try it out once I gotten it! Just fund the project :)

Thanks for the detailed review video Richard, well done.
Thank you bro! :)
Hi Richard thanks for the very informative video, you’ve answered all my questions, was deciding between the daylight or bi coloured ones. Thumbs up 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Great review as usual. Looks like a very well designed light!
Thanks Tony!
Excellent review as alwats. This is an excellent value during launch

Let me know what you found, like it or not would like to hear some feedback from other users
how is it? Did u buy another 9?
I am looking at this light or amaran 60x, what's your thought?
Nice detailed review.
Thanks Glenn!!
nice review thanks! I think i will get one
Great video mate! Quick question, with two NP-F 970 batteries, what is the battery life?
Sorry i have not tested that as i don't have the battery plate so can't answer
Thanks for the review Richard! Very helpful, do you think this can handle a 106 centimeter softbox? Thanks!
Probably a bit too much for this small light to handle
@@TheRealRichardWong Thanks!
Thank you! How do you think this compares to the Godox SL60?
hi there, sorry i have't got a chance to play with the Godox SL60
What adapter are you using to mount on a tripod at 5:11? Great video thanks!
That's the standard one comes with the cl60
@@TheRealRichardWong do you know if it’s a 1/4 or 5/8 thread on the adapter? Thanks for your reply!
Oh sorry actually I use a little adaptor I got to convert from the standard light stand hole to 1/4" tripod screw
@@TheRealRichardWong I’m struggling to find anything, do you know what I can google to find one?
See if this helps? amzn.to/3JV6Wuf (affiliated link)
Is it possible to combine CL60 [Bi-Color] with CL60M [daylight] lights together?
I believe yes. But I don't have the cl60m to try myself
Do they even sell a USB-C to Sony NPF bracket that attaches to the light?
I believe it is coming out very soon
Sadly this thing has no umbrella hole. Such a thing is essential and you could even use two lights with one umbrella

Thanks for sharing!
Time to book myself one of it, just wondering will it work nice with film portrait?

@@FrederickSim Awesome! Enjoy! and let me know how it works once you received it
@@TheRealRichardWong Will do!
