The Colbor CL-60 is almost the PERFECT LED light

- The Colbor CL60r and CL60 have everything I want in a small COB light. Do I have any complaints? Just one. And I 3D printed my way out of it.
Usually, I start those reviews by talking about light quality, but it's 2023, no one is even making lights with CRI under 95 anymore. (For the record, we did measure a CRI of 96+).
There is a lot to like about this light, so lets dive in.

do you prefer small or big lights? www.diyphotography.net/colbor-cl60r/
Love these small Colbor lights, a huge step up from their CL100 as well in terms of design/quality
I only tried the older 100 Watt lights and man, those are running circles around them
Thank you for thr review! I learned a very novel way of splicing👍👍
100% our pleasure. love those little Colbor CL60r, amazingly small!
Cracking presentation, Udi.
Thanks and thanks
Thank you!!!
How about a DIY fix to add a protection glass ???
wish the stand had an umbrella hole, that would make it an even more portable solution without the bowens mount adapter. they offer an accesory for the nato rail, but its 32€ over here O_o
Wow. An almost perfect light out of the box. I would opt for a set if the spacer kit will become a reality (even as a separate kit, but would be nice if it's part of a 3 light kit). This will make the already great form factor and size a perfect kit to move around.
That's what I say in the video :) @Colbor make it happen!
Love those adapters to help space the lights out a bit with reflectors on. Are the STLs available to download anywhere to print?
This is actually a great idea. Let me put em on printables

awsomeeee
Glad you enjoyed!
What about the control wheels in the back of the cl60, mine aren't very nice to operate and get stucked, should I change unit or is normal?
Good Portable lights are so rare. These looks like a breakthrough
Yea, they are about the size of a can of soda
Thoughts on the CL60 vs the CL100X?
We have not rested the 100, but we did test the 220, which is similar enough. Those are two different beasts. The 100 is bicolor, needs a power source and is less Lego. But it does pack more power. So, this depends on your needs
Chaining them is useless without a way to focus the light
Check the link in the description, we made a spacer that allows adding a fresnel
