Yep, the “barefoot shoe”community has been aware of this for a while now. Thin leather soles will allow for some grounding once they absorb moisture from the air and your feet. Earthrunners sandals and Aintap Turkish shoes (I think they’re called Feel barefoot on Etsy) use copper rivets. And apparently Bahe running sneakers are made with conducive materials that are also grounding but I haven’t tried them.

Completely agree. Dr. Abs seems to have integrity, and the best interest of others with sharing this knowledge. The products you use as one suggestion is much appreciated. You'll never please everyone on the internet, and I don't think you should aim to do so. If in your heart you know you're being honest, and providing suggestions with integrity, then that is what should matter. We are primed to focus on the negative, and much more inclined to respond and put our efforts into saying the negative. How many people have benefited from your product suggestions? I would imagine far more than those who have issues with your suggestions. They're simply less inclined to leave a comment. I think keeping the psychology of humans in mind here a bit. Just my perspective. Love what you do, and hope you keep on providing us with solid informed information.

Challenging the heart, like any controlled stress, is beneficial in short time frames, then there needs to be rest. Sauna is good for you, but not if you do it all day. Cold plunges are beneficial, but not if you do it for hours. Vigorous Exercise is great, but not if you’re doing it for 4 hours every day. All of those are controlled stresses. They are stresses that we intentionally put ourselves through for a controlled period of time. Overtraining muscles is how to make them weaker. The benefits come with proper rest. We don’t always always to be challenging the muscles all day long. The same goes for the heart
The easier the heart can pump blood, the less stress is put on the heart throughout the day.
We want an efficient heart. The more efficient a heart is, the lower the resting heart rate will be. We want the heart to be able to supply the body’s needs with the fewest amount of pumps. If the resting heart rate is high, it means the heart needs to work harder to provide the needs of the body.
We don’t want it to have to work very hard in order to supply blood to the body.
Exercise increases the demand for blood, so the heart is challenged, and pumps more. But even then, we don’t want it to be harder than it has to be.

Barefoot on the dirt or grass is what you need to do, no shoes and gloves ok.
