She did not withdraw she was barred from entering the warm up area. They set her up. She and Shacarri was outside yet Shackari was let I and she wasn't.

Shelly was going to lose so she made the rite decision in the semi final. She had 2 very good competitors to run against in the semi finals so that did not sits well for Shelly, if she was to run even with one of the competitor in the semi final she would not have drop out of the semi finals.
This is not the first time France has done something like this. They threatened the expected winner of the 400 metres at their last hosted Olympics. This resulted in them pulling out and a French winner of the same race. The truth will only be on social media. but not on tv.

I think it's because they barred her from the training area
