the fact that’s it’s all red and blurry probably infers sophie is takin the pills again and that makes it all static and low quality shit she’s forgetting what it looked like
“What the hell is wrong with me?” Most likely referencing Felix. I like to think by Golden mirror it’s referencing Sophie on one side and Felix on the other.
The Season One trailer is setting up Sophie returning to the first Bons Burgers to confront what really happened to her, but this song makes me think that she tried to forget everything again. Maybe she swallowed a whole bottle of pills in a last ditch effort to keep everything buried, but it only worked for a second. The truth is out, and it can't be hidden again. Sophie has nowhere to run. Bon is loose, time is running out. The pills aren't safe anymore.
Lucky you was a conversation with showbear that happened after Walten files 3, Sophie took what showbear said to heart, she just wanted to be safe and not be appart of any of this, she wanted safety but pills only last so long, like bon said "they're waiting for you sophie", all the animatronics and especially bon are free, and are after her, she cant be safe anymore. Jack just wants to protect his child from the past and horrors of bons burgers, hes trapped in a machine, all he wants is for his "little bunny" to be safe, "safety in pills, sophie"
“Sophie. For years, you were told it was all a dream, one to forget. What you saw was a nightmare, a long one. This isn’t true. It’s a distant memory, one that’s fighting to break free. It’s all real. He’s real. The pills take you into blissful ignorance. Ignorance is death right now. Run.”
Edd and Molly Walten - 05/02/74 Jack Walten - 06/11/74 Susan Woodings - 06/30/74 Charles - 07/14/74 Rosemary Walten - 07/19/74 Ashley Parks - 07/13/78 Brian Stells - 10/10/82 "what happened, Sophie" I like to think that just for a second after learning of her past, Sophie swallowed an entire bottle of her pills to try and forget. It didn't work. She can't run anymore.
i think instead of anything happening directly to her, like her getting attacked, this song is her processing the death of pretty much her entire (presumably her entire) family, and the knowledge that though dead, they're still kicking and suffering trapped in the animatronics. bunnyfarm was a lot of info at once, both for the viewer and for sophie considering this is stuff she had backed into her mind due to trauma and her medication.
Golden mirror, the song you are listening too was for about 30 years after it was recorded in 1968 never heard again as it was a unreleased song that had only been recorded a few times. That was until in 2016-2017 the song was found over a recording a radio station that played it in the 60. To my knowledge this is the only record of the song, and I think it’s addition to the Walten files soundtrack fits perfectly, from the melancholic vibe to the story, to even it’s backstory about being missing for 30 years like how Sophie’s memory’s were forgotten.
This song was made by Jackson C. Frank back in the late 60's. At this time, his popularity and mental health were declining. I've been a fan of him for years now, I can't believe he made it to this series given how obscure he and especially this song is (except for that time one of his songs made into the movie Joker, which is how I found him). He experienced serious trauma himself while he was in 6th grade, when a fire broke out in his school and killed half of his class including his childhood sweetheart. This haunted him for the rest of life. He was a homeless schizophrenic when he died at the age of 56, blind in one eye and suffering from thyroid problems due to the fire. To this day he's one of my favorite singers, and I encourage you to listen to some of his other songs. He was an amazing musician despite having such a tragic life.
incase anyone wants to know a little backstory of the true song, golden mirror by Jackson C Frank, i found this bit of info: In 1968, Jackson C. Frank returned to England to try and revive his musical career. Although he had some success, including a gig opening for Fairport Convention at the prestigious Royal Festival Hall and appearing on John Peel's BBC radio show "Nightride," Jackson couldn't find much work and didn't stay long. His deteriorating mental health didn't help any. Jackson's new material failed to win over old fans including his buddy Al Stewart who said "He started doing things that were completely impenetrable. They were basically about psychological angst played at full volume with lots of thrashing. I don't remember a single word of them, but it just did not work." Up until the Fall of 2017, no recordings of this 1968 material has ever surfaced. However, a previously unknown stash of the BBC radio show "My Kind of Folk" has recently been recovered and restored by a collector and audiologist who have released these radio shows into the wild of the internet. Jackson hosted Episode 37 where he was joined by the a cappella folk vocal group The Young Tradition and Chris Hardy, a whizz kid guitar player from a nearby college who accompanies the host. Jackson sings five songs including the previously unknown "Golden Mirror," obviously an original from 1968. While it indeed is filled with psychological angst, it is considerably more tuneful and moving than what Al Stewart gave credit to. As with nearly all Jackson C. Frank songs, it is deeply haunting and unforgettable. this song choice seems really intentional, so this backstory might be intentional. makes me think about felix and the failed relocate project in a weird way.
Judging by the cover and song, Sophie Is either going to remember everything, or relapse back and forget alot again. Hoping for the first one. Also maybe will see what Felix is up to in the present....
I really like this song. I just don't know, there's something about it that captures a certain feeling/emotion. It makes you feel kinda bad, but in a good way. Keep it up, Martin, keep it up
I have a feeling this will be in a scene where Sophie takes her pills again, they work, but don't at the same time. This causes Sophie to go in a state of confusion and break down. She's remembered too much. The pills are slowly losing their safety. *_It's too late to go back._*

I still don't get what this "Golden Mirror" thing is tbh, but i think i already saw this picture before... maybe in Martin's twitter, i don't remember. I also noticed that everyone's faces disappeared, and now there is a static in there. Interesting...
There was a pinned comment from Martin saying "what happened, sophie?" Yeah,I can definitely see this playing when there's a scene about Sophie's memory loss.
@@nightdog4183 probably dementia or bad memory considering Oh,can’t you see?’s lyrics have “it’s just a burning memory” in it. And of course,it’s part of the end of time too,so that could also be dementia.
I can imagine this being from multiple different characters' perspectives, except there's one thing that doesn't quite make sense in any context. "Even my children will probably grow up wrong" Jack and Rosemary only end up with 1 (one) child, singular, who actually does grow up (unless you count whatever happened to Ed and Molly's spirits after they died as "growing up wrong"). And Felix and Linda didn't have ANY children (that we know of at least).
I’m guessing when Sophie watched the “disappearance of jack walten” tape (maybe that will be the next tape) she has fallen in a state of depression?? Judging on the cover of the video it seems she must have taken her pills and is starting to forget.
Might be sad but I guess Jenny and Sophie will probably have lots of fun in the new installment when it comes out. Bon just appears out of nowhere for a tea party, who knows.

well, i way overanalyzed the lyrics of this song so here's my take/explanation as to how this relates to the series: ---- "Golden Mirror, is about, uhm, what happens to you when you think about the blues, not in an emotional sense, but you are actually going through it. 'Cause there are hundreds of these things that happen every day, walking along the street you get a great feeling. *Lyrics.* Sleeping in the velvet Of the golden mirror shine I am mine Most of the time (la dada da)... So I sailed my ship of dreams Somewhere else at sea And I aimed at her on an ocean A frivol silver scheme Impossible promises To the live machine I found a safe harbor To find me a home To raise a family And oh God! Even my children will probably Grow up wrong Somehow I have forgotten the ways Of flying back to you again 'Cause I searched the sky along with the ways And I catch the last London train I see the wolves upon the snow And the beaches at low tide I've been to France and offered thanks 'Cause on my own two feet I died I slept by your naked body My mind all on the sea And I touched your lips of violet And your hair of Barbery Oh, what the hell is wrong with me? Sleeping in the velvet... Of the golden mirror shine... I am mine... Most of the time... This song makes me feel a sort of pain, sadness. The lore it brings, makes me feel sorry for Sophie, Felix, basically everyone in the series. Such unfortunate things can easily break someone on the inside.
My walten files characters theory Jack - was one of the owners he got killed by Felix and is stuffed into bon Felix did it as a cover up and because of a argument of wealth Ed - car crash cuz of felix’s drunk driving Molly - car crash cuz of felix’s drunk driving Sophie - got attacked by bon in 1979 but survived Rosemary - got dismembered by bon and later got stuffed into sha Susan - was a employee got paralyzed by bon and starved to death and was stuffed into banny Charles - I think he’s a detective cuz I don’t think he’s a employee cuz none of the employee’s mentioned him and his daughter had a birthday that day he was stuffed into boozoo Brian - was a employee his spine was broken Bc of bon also one of his arms was chopped off and his face was messed around with Ashley - she was with 2 other employee’s Hilary and kevin she went to the backdoors when the others were asleep she found the tape and bon killed her so she was stuffed into billy Hilary - he was with Ashley and kevin Kevin - is Susan’s son cuz 1. Both of there names start with w 2. Both there voice’s sound similar 3. They look kinda similar 4. They both know about mechinical stuff (also he was with Ashley and Hilary) Felix - the other owner of bon’s burgers he caused the car too crash killed jack and programmed bon to kill people who knew about every tragedy that happend Jenny - is Sophie’s girlfriend Linda - felix’s ex-wife they broke up because of there relationship and Linda moved to hurricane
Also, I'm not sure what "your hair of BARBERY" means, but the word makes me think of like, "barbaric, barbarian", like brutish and wild. And there's a song called "Love grows where my Rosemary goes" that has a lyric "her hair is kind of wild and free". And Rosemary's hair does look kinda wild in the pictures. So this could be coming from the perspective of someone who has slept with Rosemary, that is to say, Jack. Presumably. I still think Sophie's midnight dentist is very sus though...

I may be wrong about Sophie taking the pills but idk
ya gotta love Jackson C frank
well, i way overanalyzed the lyrics of this song so here's my take/explanation as to how this relates to the series:
----
"Golden Mirror, is about, uhm, what happens to you when you think about the blues, not in an emotional sense, but you are actually going through it. 'Cause there are hundreds of these things that happen every day, walking along the street you get a great feeling. And, uh, Golden Mirror is when you're disturbed, and turned away from the Golden Mirror you contemplate what actually makes you sad."
----
"Sleeping in the velvet
Of the golden mirror shine
I am mine
Most of the time"
in the intro of the song, it talks about "turning away" from the golden mirror, during which you aren't facing the sadness, but instead thinking about *why* you're sad. in this context, i think that the sadness in this case is tied to sophie's memory as well. she has trouble trying to remember *why* she feels the way she does, "sleeping in the velvet of the golden mirror shine." and of course, the lines "i am mine most of the time" is about her not knowing her own past up until now, a critical part of herself.
----
"So I sailed my ship of dreams
Somewhere else it seems
And I anchored her on the ocean
Of frivol silver schemes
Impossible promises
To the live machine
To find a safe harbor
To find me a home
To raise a family
And oh God!
Even my children will probably
Grow up wrong"
i think from this point on, the song isn't directly about sophie, but about her past and her family, and these lyrics begin to become about jack. note the lyrics about his dreams, anchoring them on the "impossible promises of the *live machine."* he wants to support his family, with this business (and with felix), but as we know, his children, um, *cough* "grew up wrong."
----
"Somehow I have forgotten the ways
Of flying back to you again
'Cause I searched the sky along the waves
And I catch the last London train
I see the wolves upon the snow
And the beaches at low tide
I've been to France and offered thanks
'Cause on my own two feet I died
I slept by your naked body
My mind all on the sea
And I touched your lips of violet
And your hair of barbery
Oh what the hell is wrong with me?"
i see these lyrics as jack thinking about his family, mostly rose, and how he's gone and yet his spirit still remains. how he can't seem to connect with his family anymore. the confusion surrounding it all. he himself doesn't even know what's going on, or why, both in terms of his afterlife and how he died in the first place. "'somehow i have forgotten the ways / of flying back to you again" "oh what the hell is wrong with me?"
----
"Sleeping in the velvet
Of the golden mirror shine
I am mine
Most of the time"
the chorus repeats, bringing it back around to sophie. in bunnyfarm, she was brought into the lives of her family from the past, given inside details she wouldn't have been able to know even back then WITH her memory intact, and communicated with directly by her passed family. she has no choice but to face her memories, to sleep in the golden mirror shine.
----
anyways, hope you enjoyed that wall of text! obviously everything about this song and its connection lyrically (if any) to the series can be interpreted differently, but this is what i got from it.
This gotta be played at the end credits of the final Walten files
Yeah this is a direct reference to sophie remembering about her family entering a golden mirror

@@bernarda1247 this is a two year old theory ♥
@@Chris-tn9bfwhat’s wrong with replying to a two year old theory?
I was taught how to play this song, and lets say your fingers will hurt like hell after playing
Damn what’s up with those Waltens and their files wey 🤨
“I just can’t get remember
But…..I feel like I have
Seen them”
YES IM HYPED LETS GOOO
Bruh that image is amazing!
*Lyrics.*
Sleeping in the velvet
Of the golden mirror shine
I am mine
Most of the time (la dada da)...
So I sailed my ship of dreams
Somewhere else at sea
And I aimed at her on an ocean
A frivol silver scheme
Impossible promises
To the live machine
I found a safe harbor
To find me a home
To raise a family
And oh God!
Even my children will probably
Grow up wrong
Somehow I have forgotten the ways
Of flying back to you again
'Cause I searched the sky along with the ways
And I catch the last London train
I see the wolves upon the snow
And the beaches at low tide
I've been to France and offered thanks
'Cause on my own two feet I died
I slept by your naked body
My mind all on the sea
And I touched your lips of violet
And your hair of Barbery
Oh, what the hell is wrong with me?
Sleeping in the velvet...
Of the golden mirror shine...
I am mine...
Most of the time...
This song makes me feel a sort of pain, sadness. The lore it brings, makes me feel sorry for Sophie, Felix, basically everyone in the series. Such unfortunate things can easily break someone on the inside.
I wonder what tape this is gonna play in.
I can’t believe it’s just a *B* u R *N* I n g *M E* m O r yyyyyy *y* yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
This is Golden Mirror by Jackson C. Frank an Unreleased demo song
The Walter files 4:Realization
Going to listen to it when I have a mental breakdown
Re piola wachin :)
My walten files characters theory
Jack - was one of the owners he got killed by Felix and is stuffed into bon Felix did it as a cover up and because of a argument of wealth
Ed - car crash cuz of felix’s drunk driving
Molly - car crash cuz of felix’s drunk driving
Sophie - got attacked by bon in 1979 but survived
Rosemary - got dismembered by bon and later got stuffed into sha
Susan - was a employee got paralyzed by bon and starved to death and was stuffed into banny
Charles - I think he’s a detective cuz I don’t think he’s a employee cuz none of the employee’s mentioned him and his daughter had a birthday that day he was stuffed into boozoo
Brian - was a employee his spine was broken Bc of bon also one of his arms was chopped off and his face was messed around with
Ashley - she was with 2 other employee’s Hilary and kevin she went to the backdoors when the others were asleep she found the tape and bon killed her so she was stuffed into billy
Hilary - he was with Ashley and kevin
Kevin - is Susan’s son cuz 1. Both of there names start with w 2. Both there voice’s sound similar 3. They look kinda similar 4. They both know about mechinical stuff (also he was with Ashley and Hilary)
Felix - the other owner of bon’s burgers he caused the car too crash killed jack and programmed bon to kill people who knew about every tragedy that happend
Jenny - is Sophie’s girlfriend
Linda - felix’s ex-wife they broke up because of there relationship and Linda moved to hurricane
I literally have an entire idea for a concept album based on the walten files. This isn't helping my temptation. XD
The guitar got that Batman trailer vibe tho
I don't want nothing bad to happen to Sophie because if it does I'm gonna cry
wait a second... something isnt right here... TWF 4 teaser... idk
my man martin has got the rtx 4090 to do this image
This is what felox is feeling right now :/
felox sounds like a toilet brand name-
something happening to me
I think you didn't sleep
I think this was because of Bunnyfarm.
I think is cause of your face in the profile picture
Maybe the distorted faces, First Ashley, then Susan, then Charles, then Rosemary, then Felix.
OOUGH MARTIN THINGS ARE GETTING GOOD
Skirting the outskirts of EATEOT...
the golden bruh
This is an important glitch in Sophie’s life
I can't wait for the new episode
shits about to go down i feel it
What is the audio interface at 3:05 @MartinWalls 👀
thats just an error or part of the song i guess
I just noticed the image of her head has been partially replaced by static instead of the normal images.
🎶one of these are not like the other 🎵
GUYS THE FACES BY HER ARE BLURRED. THIS IS HER FORGETTING BC OF THE PILLS YALL
No, it’s because she tried using the pills, they didn’t work.
Wow what a way to end it man
This is the first video I’ve seen with no dislikes (not that that’s bad)
Maybe Martins comment is Supposed to be representing Jenny asking her (Sophie) what she saw in bunny farm just a random theory
hello fellow internet users
bye
Howdy 🌼
I thought that was jimmy carter In the beginning
This will probably be for the finale
Doubt it, probaby for Episode 4
Arent there like, 12 more episodes?
No because it has the Season One background
Also, I'm not sure what "your hair of BARBERY" means, but the word makes me think of like, "barbaric, barbarian", like brutish and wild. And there's a song called "Love grows where my Rosemary goes" that has a lyric "her hair is kind of wild and free". And Rosemary's hair does look kinda wild in the pictures. So this could be coming from the perspective of someone who has slept with Rosemary, that is to say, Jack. Presumably. I still think Sophie's midnight dentist is very sus though...
This happens 2hen I force the poop out
