Thank you very much. In fact, it is not the river Gudenå but the river Storåen. They have an ok salmon program in the Gudenå, but a much better protection for the salmon in Storåen. And the fishing is much better there too
Wow, that looks like our Chinook. Always (apparently wrongly) thought Atlantics were closer to the size of our Coho. Atlantic on the fly is a bucket list fish for me. Perhaps someday before I kick it, I can empty it. I have caught Coho in the salt on a fly. Well, more accurately HOOKED them. They are such wild fighters keeping them hooked is...challenging. Our Buoy 10 fishery here in Oregon/Washington has provided good opportunity to try.
Oh yes Atlantic salmon can be much bigger. They can reach 40 lb and even more. But these days, of course, these are rare. But you have to go and fish for them

Hej Anders, tak for svar. Jeg har ligget en smule nærmere og der står i bekendtgørelse 1421 "Bekendtgørelse om særlige fiskeriregler for Storå vandsystem" følgende om laks: "§ 4. I Storå vandsystem er laks (salmo salar) fredet hele året. Stk. 2. Fangede laks skal straks genudsættes i frit vand, så vidt muligt i levende tilstand." Så hvis ens fangst er laks, må man ikke tage den med hjem. Æv. men forståeligt for miljøet. :) Såfremt jeg tager fejl og der faktisk er kvoter, skal du endeligt rette mig!
Bananer! Du har fuldstændig ret i at laksene i alle di vest vente åer i Danmark er fredet. Men der er en dispensation for lydstfisker så der er en kvote på 220 laks størrer in 75 cm og 240 laks mindre alene i storåen. Og tilsvare i di andre vest vænte åer. Så vær lydstfisker må ta en laks indtil “madfisker” kvoten er opfisket. Jeg synes nu vi skal passe bæder på fiskene in vi gør så jeg sætter dem ud og opfordrer andre til at gøre det samme. Det har jeg dog ikke særlig meget held med
