We should all take time to appreciate the effort Nick puts into his videos. All the shots of him, walking away, climbing up the hill, riding his bike, are double duty for him. One shooting the scene and the second going back to get the camera. On top of near National Geographic level cinematography. So thank you Nick. 🤘😎
Very artistic, yet quite unnecessary if this isn't a pitch for National Geographic. It pains me watching when I know he has to turn around and go get his camera.

I'm a Brit who grew up in Minneapolis. I remember Walleye and Crappie were delicious. UK freshwater fish are rough and inedible. Thanks for your videos, it's a real slice of personal nostalgia.

I can agree with you there. But there is a local bar not far from me that has all you can eat bluegill. It’s $20 for the meal. But omg it’s so good. I ate so much I had to take a nap when I got home.

@@Dean_Richard I live in da U.P. I love perch also, but it’s so expensive. For a panfish. Bluegills are my choice. Oh and Crappie also.

In all my life I would never have expected a walleye in that creek. As for people saying to eat it, not from that creek. I'm surprised that fish didn't have 3 eyes lol.

Nick, I know its a PITA but you might have to use live bait for your triple digit catfish hunt... not fresh cut bait. LIVE bait... hooked through the back and swimming. I know its more annoying than cut bait but it might be the edge you need for the big boy to commit.
Watch other channels like Kayak Catfish, and that will prove you wrong. Not saying live bait doesn't work, but cut bait works just fine...

Walleye is my favorite fish species to target, and they are very delicious. Also love fishing for pike.

Always enjoy seeing the Garr and the underwater release a nice touch. What a STUNNING location to fish! 2nd location was also wicked! Now add a Catfish to the list heh. Being from Kansas, those walleyes are one of our main game fish. I have scars on both of my hands from those needle sharp teeth! And they are incredible eating!!

My PB catfish is 60 on a rod and 75 on a trot line. I've been fishing for cats for over 40 years and have yet to see a 100+ one yet. Good luck in your search, it will be epic when you achieve it!!

Only walleye I've ever caught in my lake was on cut bluegill. Was catfishing and they've surprised me a few times lol

My pb walleye is over 6 lbs! But that was up in Wyoming at the Jackson Lake Dam.
Nice! Mine's 9lb. St.Clair river.Marysville Michigan. My buddy caught exact twin at same time. Bottom bouncing in 40 feet.
Mine is right at 16 caught here in East Tennessee but 10 lbers are caught routinely here
