Thank you. I'm using it to vacuum crevasses in ancient bedrock in washes so I can pan for gold. I need something that isn't so big and I have the Craftsman power tool collection so I have plenty of batteries and battery chargers.

Although not most powerful battery vac-it does well for small clean ups and the convenience factor is great.

Gotta love Craftsman! the build looks amazing. The motor is sort of underpowered but it functions nevertheless! Have one for my car and small DIY projects with 4amp batt

@LowInfoGuy - Thanks but I straighened you out.
FWIW the attachments are a standard dia.
I'm using the super soft round brush for my car gauge screen/ cluster and buttons.
$165k for a new Escalade made this tool mandatory. Also running (2) oscillaing tools and fans at my business for plastic work. 8 batteries 2ah - 9ah.
I do avise to use the smaller 2ah on the hand tools. After a long day your arm thanks you.A carpenter can get by drilling screws all day with smaller batteries.

Bought one of these today and have a dewalt battery to craftsman tool adapter. Fingers crossed.

@@toolinhand I spent a hour or so cleaning out mine by hand where the meter was nearly covered in clay mud. I ended up blowing it out to loosen up the amount in bottom with a focusing point water sprayer. I got most of it and pump it out with a cheap siphon pump from home depot (PITA)... wiped out the rest with half a roll of paper towels... still a lot in their on the edges. I thought later "I wonder if my craftsmen vac can vacuum up this muddy water?"... going to try that later today. Did it work good?
