    Yes . I have dry sensitive skin and bad allergies. Perfume is a no no. I also can not deal with natural or clean beauty. I can not rub plant extracts on my face.

      Exactly! SO many people are clean beauty elitists but it doesn't always necessarily mean skin friendly!

    Fragrance is number one but for two reasons. I have ridiculously sensitive eyes and fragrance in products that i use will really irritate my eyes and tends to break me out too. I can do scented lip glosses and such but that's about it. Upping my skincare game really reduced how much makeup i use, which in turn i don't get as much breakouts and i wash my foundation brushes and my sponge every single Saturday. I find that micellar water gets my tools really clean but Dove is a brilliant idea. You should definitely do a video on cleaning brushes and other tools. I think it's really important.

      Sometimes scented lip glosses start making my throat hurt/itch 🥲 and that's the MOST commonly scented product!

    All of these resonated so much with me!! I have eczema and acne prone skin that is super sensitive. Clean makeup is always so full of oils and I have to read ingredients thoroughly before deciding to purchase something. One ingredient I find that is helpful to avoid is denatured alcohol, which makes me flake around my chin really bad. Also eco tools makes a great brush soap that is acne friendly!

      I have used their brush soap before yes!! And that’s a great tip about the alcohol.

    Great tips!! I use a fragrance free baby soap to wash my brushes, which is also pretty cheap 😊 I use that dove bar soap regularly though, I should try it on my brushes

    The most skin friendly for me have been powder foundations, but of course they dont compare to what liquids do. I avoid buying drugstore bronzers except for brands that cater to sensitive skin like physicians formula. The only brow pencil ive tried that doesnt cause problems is the Loreal super thin one (brow stylist definer?). The only DS foundation ive tried that doesnt break me out and its long lasting/natural looking/good coverage is the Hard candy Glamoflauge 16hr. But regardless of price point most foundations break me out.
    Some other foundations that dont cause a lot of problems: Dermablend CC, Clinique Stay Matte, Huda Beauty luminous matte, and id say the Lisa Eldridge one too but i have to test that one back to back for two weeks to be sure. Ive only used it 3 days at a time.

      I love the Loreal pencil you mentioned! It sounds like you also have oily skin, right? Because the glamoflauge is oil free but also very matte.

    I love the infallible BUT it breaks me out, every single time. Big cyst acne. Sucks cause it is the most beautiful of all drugstore. Wish they'd take that sunscreen out of it (who needs it IN FOUNDATION anyway?!?) Because I know that is what causes my breakouts with it

    For a while now I’ve been wanting to try the Almay foundation you mentioned in the video but I heard the formula had changed. So many consumers mentioned in their reviews how much they disliked the new formula. 😢

      I'm always curious if someone hasn't tried the original if they'd have the same opinion-- I've discovered a lot of products I like once they're "reformulated" and I like them, but I never tried the original!

    Make sure you wash your face AFTER you rinse your conditioner out, not before, and change your pillow case a few times weekly. Also, if you have back acne, it’s likely your conditioner.

    Great video Miranda...😘❤️ the question(s) I have... does Agency actually work?? And do they automatically ship/bill you after the 1st month of trial or do they contact you first?? To see if you want to continue with them &/or if you need product shipped so that you don't end up with a lot of unused serums that can expire... I'm tired of all the bottles & bottles of stuff I have & trying to figure out what works... Agency looks like a wonderful solution!! Ty in advance!!💜💐🦋💐💜💟🩷👑🩷💟💄🥰💋

    • @slashedbeauty
      @slashedbeauty  Рік тому +3

      Yes it actually works 😃 that's why I spent 4 months testing it before deciding to share it with you all! For me I'm definitely in my "preventative" stage when it comes to anti-aging but I've dealt with hyperpigmentation from acne for years and this is really helping clear up stubborn, long lasting dark spots. You can cancel anytime but if you don't cancel, your prescription will renew and the bottles last 2 months. It's definitely a great solution instead of buying a bunch of stuff and having it not work, especially because you can work with your provider to tweak your formula if necessary!
