Vladimir it’s so nice to see you enjoying the wonderful flies you tie. If I wasn’t on the other side of the planet, I’d be right next to you pursuing those fish! Fishing gin clear water it’s sometime best to just sit and wait 5-10 mins after you approach the area, it’s hard to be patient and wait, but the fish calm down and forget you walked up and don’t see you as a threat. You are a good fisherman I’m sure you know these tactics, just thought I’d mention for others.
I was glad to finally have some proper fishing in a while. Same as you say, waiting is the key. Oftentimes i am hasty, cant wait. I regret it on my way home :) Some times i do wait, i do enjoy the reward after it :) I like to say to my friends i stant and pretend i am a tree :)
Grass carps you have i think, but what i call army fish (spinibarbus caldwelli) that is native to asia only. Glad you liked it. Its probably best fishing i had in a while. I loved the diversity of fish caught.

They do look a bit like chubs but grass carp 100%, just very skinny, no idea why. Maybe lack of vegetation in the lake. It was my first time there.
