@@Oholisfliesandfishing They were for me too. Now I’ve tied so many flies over the years that I’ll put one from when I first started next to a more recent tie and look at the difference. But even after 20-30 something years there’s always something different to be learned. That’s what keeps things feeling like new.
Been 👀 forward to this fly tying !! Your instructions are perfect and I appreciate the details. I’m at my tying bench and I’m attempting to tie this fly. I have to watch and pause the video at times when I get confused. I am trying my best. I’m betting this fly will catch trout really well. Hey, thank you !!!!
Thank you. Glad i could help. Pausing is probably best way to watch this video. I guess i say a lot. Also, don't hesitate to back off, undo some steps and retie something. First dew ties may not me much but they will help you a lot. Cheers 🍻🍻
Very nice Fly 🪰! Like the explanation of materials and how to apply. As always great job, look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing your talents 👍
Really nice tie Vladimir... your explanation of the various materials/their properties and how to use them is very helpful and enjoyable as always...thank you for sharing your skills and experience...I've been adding one or two soft CDC hackle wraps under the stiffer parachute hackle on some smallish (14's) Hanak klinkhamer curved hooks which has worked well so far...take care, tight lines.... I appreciate you helping me become a much better fly tyer ( in my own mind at least 😄)
Nice Klink Vlad. I think you would enjoy a "long-reach" whip finisher in your tool arsenal if not already present. Back in the day F. Matarelli designed both a "standard" and "long reach" whip finisher copied by several manufacturers today. This will provide additional control when working around para-post and hackle. Good hatches.
Thats true, flies before had post made with calf hair. I used to tie with it. But way better substitute is poly yarn. Its lighter, softer, more easily available. Less bulky.
Very nice video! You mentioned "The Feather Mechanic". Can you please tie a Para RAB with the squirrel-tail halo, as it is described in Gordon van der Spuy's book?
Thank you. I am from serbia. Many parks in serbia has crow colonies, there are plenty of feathers on the ground. Just wash it before mixing it with your other materials in case it has some bugs on it.
Hi, i guess same as anywhere else. You only need to connect it to your bank account from your own country. Of course, you need to fulfill some conditions first, subscribers, views etc. but it wasnt overly complicated.
Thank you. The way i choose feather is simple, i want hackle barbs to align or slightly extend the the hook bend. Usually its one or two sizes larger feather than one you would normally use for regular hook shape.
Excellent work. Thank you for the information about the real Klink hook. Until now I used TMC 108SP-BL, but I really like these Daiichi. If someone have information about european web store where I can buy it please give me a link
@@Oholisfliesandfishing I'm happy with Tmc108 but Daiichi looks better, both 1167 or 1160. Only remark from my side is that hooks are not barbless but I fix that same way as you do!
Everyone benefits from an organized material list, listed in the order that they're tied on. Your method of list requires many minutes of viewing, and even then you don't list all materials. Your refusal to adapt because this wasn't your idea suggests you are like Putin, STUBBORN!

Nice. I always learn a little something from your detail that will make my effort better. Thanks!
Glad i could be of help. Cheers 🍻🍻
Beautiful tying Vladimir. Your parachutes are always so perfect looking. Vyborne!
Thank you so much. Parachutes were so intimidating when i first started tying them. Now days its probably among my favorite dries.
Cheers 🍻

Thanks. Unfortunately i dont have long reach finisher. I think i need one. 🍻
I used to tie a size 14 parachute Royal Coachman and the post was made with calf hair.

As soon as i get some squirrel tails. Until then, i think Gordon has video about it. Maybe that will be helpful.

Where does one find crow barbs? Thank you. A beautiful tie!

Hello, I wanna ask you. Did you monetize your UA-cam channel in China ?
If yes, how did you do it?
I live in China too

Great video. Question: what determines the hackle length when tying a Klink? Thank you very much.
