- New York Senator Chuck Schumer is asking the FDA to probe the energy drink, which has more than double the amount of caffeine as a can of Red Bull. Leah Groppo, clinical dietitian with Stanford Health Care, discusses the potential side effects for children and teens of consuming too much caffeine, as well as the potential long term effects
Prime also has a sports drink without Caffeine that has more Taurine then most drinks have and has a unsafe amount of Gurana in it.
I don't think they paid attention to their own video. They're showing nos energy not prime energy drink. Let's talk about prime energy and show nos energy instead.
Bang energy has been out, those are like 300mg🤷♂️
@@muffinlondon4226 it is the Gurana and Taurine in the drinks the amount of that as well as the amount of B-1
Just give your kids a bud light instead.
This was so helpful! Thank you! I have never drank a can of prime because I felt it was sketchy.
I love not having kids.

well i got my stepbrother a prime hydration drink from walmart thats fine right? hes like in 3rd grade. he kept talking about prime drinks
No.
You're confusing prime hydration with prime energy. Prime hydration has no caffeine but still has really high amount vitamins, too much for children imo....
Yeah, talking to your kids to think about "why" and "pros/cons" is helpful.
Explaining that it's essentially poison that works its will over a long period would be a good place to start.
REDLINE XTREME has 316 mgs of caffeine in 8 ounces. It's so strong you are supposed to drink only half the bottle and it has warnings all over it. This PRIME drink is like water in comparison @ 200 mgs of caffeine per 12 ounces
That has warnings Prime does not. I am honestly I am not surprised the name has not been sued by Gatorade for Gatorade Prime.
