I've been carving wood for a few years, and then I stumbled on Intarsia.
I've only watched a few videos, and your introduction video sparked my interest.
Now I gotta watch the 6 part series..........

Welcome a board Keith. Since you like carving, I think Intarsia is going to be a perfect fit for you. Your carving abilities can definitely be incorporated into Intarsia. Good luck and I would love to see what you come up with.

Well done Keith, You are basically doing segmentation, just using different species of wood for color variation is all that is missing.

Bob, after watching this series I ordered the intarsia book by Kathy Wise. I see now how you modified her cross with the Lillie on it to make it free-standing. That is really a nice piece! It would be great if you could do a video going through some of the process of making the flower stem wrap around the cross. Thank you and I'm looking forward to more project videos.
