And this is just personal preference, but many would feel better served by practicing to clear malfunctions, rather than cramming them in further. Remember, the reason the forward assist was even added was because of government bureaucracy, not because it was wanted or needed by the designer or users. But In some special circumstances it can be beneficial, so train with it if you prefer to. It’s just a thing for which demand is declining.

Training for AR15??…you’ve done away with the the forward assist and dust cover, nothing like a ‘true’ AR15 anymore, especially for training.
