Perspective is everything. Try doing that same work in South Florida between May and November and you'll find yourself wishing you could be doing it in the snow!
So I'm just about to pull the trigger on getting this same setup of the 126 14hp, 2 extra tracks, and a sharpener/setter kit. But I'm nervous because its seems the 20-21yr models are part sourced out of lo quality Chinese companies. Has yours been a headache or a blessing? Great videos! Thanks!
It hasn't been trouble free, I have gripes, but I don't think quality has dropped any. These mills were always made in China with Chinese parts, they are not and never were made anywhere else, which is why they've always been thousands less than comparable mills made in North America. The problem is, of course, if you only have Woodland Mills money then that's all you can get. If you want a decent sawmill you really need to spend $15k+
@@backwoodsbuildingandfixing9223 you make a good point. From what I'm hearing woodland changed part sourced companies and there are alot quality control issues leaving guys down for a time. But woodland money is the issue. So thank you and I look forward to more milling videos. Definitely subscribed. 👍
I've got a 2020 hm 126 absolutely flawless. (Do not over tighten blade and use plenty of lubricant) I've currently over 4,500 board feet of red&white oak very impressed
Hey. Been following your channel for a while and like your content. I'm looking for a local sawmill to do some custom cutting. You're not in mb by chance eh?
Outstanding….was looking for a way to cut siding on my mill without spending $500 for the attachment
Looks simple enough. Might have to try this.
Great idea!
I (cant) believe you're working in the snow.😁
Man, if I didn't work in snow I wouldn't work much up here haha

@@kennytree8801 thank you. That is reassuring.

Afraid not, I'm right in the middle of BC
Kiss method (keep it super simple).
