I love that you push for live action in Unreal. This methodology creates so many new opportunities for unique and spectacular filmmaking for us micro budget filmmakers. Thank you!
@@weshootfilms 100% with realtime global illumination the lines between physical and digital are blurring, especially with volumetric height fog 🤯Exciting to see how AI (boo) can help blend them together even more. You can’t beat human performance so I’m also all about letting actors do their magic and help them exist in cost effective environments thanks UE. It’s an awesome time to be a VFX savvy filmmaker, it’s a commitment to learn but so worth the effort. Thanks again for pushing the industry @weshootfilms
I started learning UE to make greenscreen movies, but got side tracked learning to make games lol...There's so much potential for greenscreen movies with UE though, this year going to focus more on making movies for sure....It's very cool what you're doing with it 🙌
I would like to see a sequel where the character has to go back to his boss and explain why he doesn't have the money...with you playing the boss man, of course!
Great little challenge...can you let us know the camera data? Lens and focal Length , Camera Model (for sensor size), conversion LUT to use; downloaded footage looks like a log profile, etc. Will help in the composting process
@@_its.just.regi_ it was filmed on the Sony a74 slog3. That’s all I usually need I never use a conversion lut. The point of the challenge is to take this footage and create what you can from it. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
@@weshootfilms Thanks...it was important for me to know since I am working in fusion, which is in the linear color space. I need to convert the footage to get a proper key, so knowing what model and log profile allows me to get the right look
@ I work in davinci also but I like keying in after effects. But I never use a conversion lut people make grading harder than it is. But I understand looking forward to it.
This isn’t a class this is a greenscreen challenge that begins in Jan 1 and ends Jan 15. To be apart of the challenge just watch the video and download the files and begin the challenge. But if you would like you can join my paid community on my website weshootfilms.com

It's a skill I think that's really important to keep learning and can be helpful not only in the digital world But on a physical set also.

Do we have to use the entire dialog from the green screen actor you provide?
