Thank you! If you have a usb midi piano expression foot pedal, you can use the pedal via the piano usb connection.
First enable 'remote' for the midi setting of that usb connection. And the you use the midi mapping feature to choose the frequency knob of the auto filter and press the pedal.
Then in the mapping configuration you can change the range of the frequencies that the input pedal is mapped to.
Note: I have three pedals in my piano and only one of them is proper expression pedal, other two are binary, so you need to use the one that gives range.
You, Fine Sir are a F'n GENIUS and my HERO!!!
Do you have any idea how long I've searched for what this sound was even called let alone how it was created and on top of all of that; you've shown me how to create it in my DAW of choice, Ableton Live?!
They should've sent a poet. So beautiful.. so so beautiful... [actual tears streaming down my face]
Haha glad to be of service!
Great - exactly the input I was looking for - thank you!
Tighttttttt. Love the level of control that gives you! Super moldable to fit the groove
Yeah man!
Thanks dude! This totally helped me out. Legend!
Yes mate thanks for watching!
You can add some m4l lfo tools to add more movment to the res and cutoff with the auto filter lfo both at the same time
Yeah nice!
Awesome stuff, thank you!
Thanks bro!
Broham! Why didn't I know about this channel before!!!(?)!!!
:)
Thanks for the tip legend
No worries my man
thanks for sharing knowledge!
Thanks for watching!
🔥🔥🔥 would love a tutorial on "how to make a talk bass" like Bootsy in Telephone bill !
I'll see what I can do, could probably achieve it with a similar process but using envelope mode on the filter instead of LFO
@@FatherFunk Yes I will def try, thanks !
Wicked vid as always!
Thanks!
Thanks daddy x
My G xx
I would love to see you replicate a wah pedal that is plugged in backwards (Tom morello style) 🤘
Interesting, I'll look into it !
Thank u!
Thanks for watching!
Great fucking video, sick fucking legend. Thanks for your fucking help :)
Haha nice one !
How would I turn this into a T-Wah (Responsive Touch Wah)?
Hmm I'm not really sure, there's probably some kind of Max For Live device you could use though that would link the input level to the frequency of the filter or something
@@FatherFunk yeah really just dunno how I'd do that 🤔
Is there a way to do it so the filter gets triggered by the volume level of the input? I dont wanna pay for filterfreak
I feel like this would be a max for live thing
Just use the envelope knob on the ableton auto filter
Sound 100 % pro whawha fx
❤️
Amp best with cabinet?
Up to you, I rarely use it for clean sounds but it definitely helps with more distorted tones as they can be quite harsh otherwise.
Thanks for that. Nice video.
