I am very impressed by this watch, it has vintage charm without being an outright homage, is made of first class materials and the quality control is fantastic. I have this watch in oxblood red and wear it nearly every day. You should not wind it up totally. Just a few turns and slowly to not destroy the movement. Just wear it when it started to run.
I'm a bit late to the party, but it's a nice review! I just bought the Fleuss as a watch to wear while doing garden work and the like, and I'm very happy with it. I regulated the movement a bit and it now runs at around +5 seconds per day.

I’m was considering buying this wafch fir my collection I’ve been looking at the Seikko range but so expensive this however caught my eye & after watching such an intelligent review like this I think now I will definably buy one thanks to your review
For the money you get so much quality I agree the lume should be bright diving in British seas is murky & dark but the quality specs sound stunning & just looks stunning ♥️🙏how often does the movement need to be serviced ? Never I hope. Thank you for the review more please.

So anyway, I found one of these ones in blue on eBay, pre owned and worn once. I made an opening bid and won it for $350 Australian. I received it today, Xmas eve, and it’s immaculate. I can’t believe how much watch i got for my money. They look so classy in the flesh. Merry Christmas everyone.

very nice and clean classic design! Just think that they have come up with some nice "spinnaker" logo for the dial. the "spinnaker" name seems to be bit long for the dial's aesthetic. the logo on the crown might be the logo of spinnaker, but it really does not look good as a watch logo.
also, it would attract more customers if they offer a nice "glide-lock" style metal bracelet as an option to buy or sell them together, metal and leather band.
Thanks for the overview. I owned a Fluess some months ago, although it was a nice watch it wasn't a patch on my Samurai or Sumo. It could possibly compete with a few Seiko 5s but that is about it. It felt very fragile on the wrist and the dial texture made for poor legibility. I'll take a Seiko any day.

The dial markings are called indices not index markings
Very nice for the price indeed! €219,- in Europe. But what does a service for such a watch cost... The service for a Omega PO costed me €450,- this year...
Hi Rick, thanks for the question, it's a very common movement, so I would guess it should be inexpensive to repair, or worse case scenario, you purchase an entirely new movement and drop it in. You can buy them on eBay for about $100 USD
A seiko nh35.regulates in several positions should run around 40 bucks.
Just swap the movement. It is much cheaper than a service.

Poormans 50 F., but nice homage , better if it were 40mm , would capture the period a bit better. Good prc point $300 or so. Chris-craft script is a nice touch too.
Apple Watch 4 is scary awesome . I recently finally gave in and purchased a Apple Watch.
I added the LTE service to the watch and it’s hard to beat.

Seiko aren't faded by Spinnaker lol they keep rising prices and put out 500$ prospex watches with misaligned chapter rings and bezels.
Misaligned bezels are now a feature!
There is no dome happening with the crystal.
Looks more like a Blancpain 50 Fathoms then a Rolex Submariner.

i think i researched this watch some months ago, i truly like the bezel inserts .... the only downside in my opinion is that the bezel cover/insert is merely clear acrylic and NOT sapphire.... so regrettable. if not i will definitely buy this watch
Acrylic is closer to the original and gives it a cool look! Sapphire would be nice though..

Spinnaker garbage... Cheap knock-offs with Seiko guts.
