Hello Horizala ! Nightwish fan here, your musical quest summoned me.
Welcome to the world of symphonic metal! And thank you for checking this legendary band! This song was performed in Wembley Arena in 2015, together with Floor Jansen, the 3rd and present female singer of the band, and Marco Hietala, bassist and singer.
About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners.
Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory):
" Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland...
... Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. [The 1st Bassist of the band was Sami Vanska, he was with them until 2001. The 2nd one was Marco Hietala, as Bassist and vocals, since 2001 to 2020. He recently announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least - we'll see what the future brings to us. Then very recently (May 2021) Jukka Koskinen became the 3nd Bassist of the band, for at least the Human :II: Nature tour] And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen . Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition.
Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her.
There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). I hope this helps.

Following the success of Beste Zangers show, Floor performed a series of solo concerts in the Netherlands in early 2020 with songs from her entire career (After Forever, Revamp, Northward, Nightwish, Beste Zangers) following that the last and the largest concert, at AFAS Amsterdam, to be professionally recorded and broadcast online, with the support of a crowdfunding campaign. After several rescheduling, due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the concert took place at the beginning of September 2021 in 3 consecutive days. I could see it in your face…you FELT it. Don’t worry about getting emotional…their music, and Floor’s voice, gets to all of us now and then. Don't worry about being emotional. Nightwish fans are used to that, it's what Nightwish does. That's why we love them and it's why you'll see a banner in the audience at Wacken saying "Thank you Tuomas for giving us these emotions".

A lovely reaction and a beautiful name Horizala. The first time I heard this song I just sat there with my mouth open thinking what have I just listened to. They do that to me a lot, amazing song and incredible band. Ever Dream and Ghost Love Score are songs you would probably like.

They are just incredible band. I mean they tell a story I mean it it’s just unreal and the live version. It sounds just as good as the studio version if not better in the way, the time fireworks to their music during that show was incredible.

This video was my first introduction to Nightwish also(thanks UA-cam) and I got emotional again, right along with you. Enjoy your trip through their wonderful music. btw, the singer Floor is a wonderful person, and has a bunch of cool videos and a few covers and her own music on her own channel. Nightwish is currently touring in Europe and there is recent concert footage out there.
Not touring, they are playing summer festivals. Where they get to put on the bigger shows - such as at Wacken in 2013.

The start section I agree to anyone who thinks of it of a lullaby. I believe it is ultimate apathy. If you know the meaning of the piece, the great show that was the big bang that led to the creation of earth, to the creation of man, to our moment now, and then you think back to before all of that. What is there but endless space. You have no interest to enjoy, no enthusiasm for a moment, no concern. Just apathy as you drift into an eternal sleep...
Then BANG! The next section of music. We hear the tune of life played for the first time.

Musically, I like this version better than the version in Tampere. This one is also a bit shorter from the intro, which I think is good. In Tampere, however, there were fireworks coordinated with the intro, which was epic.
