I think kripp is absolutely correct about the face decks to construct against warlocks due to Abyssal's power atm, but what i always do vs warlocks now is play a lot more safe too as well as risk. by that i mean keeping a minion in hand when i know it could be played, if i have board control and its above 7 mana at this point i keep a taunt minion or a 3/4 cost minion in my hand just so i have a card to play if it wipes out my board. taunts are great to keep in hand vs warlocks for this reason
Dont use to play much, but tonight i make a 8/3 arena run and i figth against 1 mage, 1 priest and 9 locks..... and at least 6 play that dam demon....So nice advice to EU server xD Nice work kripp, keep going

Notice how easy it is to SMorc a Warlock as warrior going first with perfect curve and answers. That was basically the last game. I imagine had the roles been reserved Kripp would be quite salty about that game.

Hey Kripp, mind doing a vid on spell occurrences in arena? I had a Mage arena today where I only drafted 2 spells. 2! Now of course I was offered other spells but they were all worse than whatever minions were shown. The spells I had were arcane intellect (if I recall there was another bad spell and minion offered) and Cabalist Tome. Basically of all the spells I had came from minion effects and Cabalist Tome.
I love how he makes it seem so simple, but having some of your board survive on turn 7 against a Warlock who plays Abyssal Enforcer at high wins is basically impossible, because they also have absurd early game and you're behind or barely ahead on board.
His warrior deck is far superior than any warrior deck I've drafted so far, not to mention in last 3 games that he showcased he had perfect answers, weapons and opponents had missed few early curve turns. So yeah, not exactly helpful video.
@kripparian you should face my warlock arena deck then :) funny thing about it is i have drafted a siphon soul. hellfire blast crystal potion and a abyssal as well as 2 kabal courier and 2(3?) kabal chemist. the courier has given me lethal more times than i can count including an excellent one where i got Jaraxas xD but one intersting card i have is actually the Tournament Medic. this negated the health cost of my hero power and has allowed me some excellent wins by matter of draw and out tempoing my opponent with a (for lack of a better word) zoolock deck heavy on the early game with just enough late game to not be crushed by 4 boardclear decks
What if there was a shadowform-esque card for Warlock where the hero power became "Deal 5 damage and discard a random card" for 3 mana? I think that would be cool.
So with arena do you have the chance to draw any card from your collection when making a deck? Is there just an arena set of cards everyone has the chance to choose when making a deck? Like could you be playing against someone who has made the same deck as you?
DARTHMADDOX Bro you get to choose 1 out of 3 cards 30 times. these are sorted by rarity 3 common 3 rare 3 epic or 3 legendary choose one. the cards you can get are random you can get the same card 28 times as far as I know cus first and last card must be rare at minimum. but you can get all the cards that are available in hearthstone. (except boss cards which are mostly shitty spells u don't even want)
I love warlock's identity it's so distinctive even when you switch deck archetypes. There is always a certain depth to their playstyle. Except reno since that is all luck of the draw.
problem is....warlocks also have pretty decent early game options, so half the time they just end up with board control early on regardless. Unless you manag ea decent rogue draft with some backstabs/evis / saps / SI etc

I have no idea why they printed this card when Dread Infernal was arguably one of the most balanced cards in Warlock, and it wasn't ever a big issue in Arena either. Why bump the cost up by one and triple the effect? It's a 6/6 with a Hellfire attached for 7 mana, this card is in every fucking control Warlock deck in constructed and it's an instant draft in Arena, cards like these are, simply put, problems. Do Warlocks need more incredibly efficient board clears?

I got 12 wins on Lock arena with no Abyssal enforcers the other day. I was lucky, had an amazing curve and lots of burst/cheap removal
So basically kill your opponent before turn 7 is how you play around abyssal enforcer

Hellfire is a board clear that is easily worth 5 mana, so assuming 2 mana for a card draw Abbyssal enforcer is similar to a 0 mana 6/6
