We don't need more cards that hurt control or combo. The changes in this New Year alone fucked most of them over and Jade Druid's existence itself has killed control.

It's like those control decks died because there are simply better decks that do control. Owait, Reno decks are better control decks. Why play control priest when you can go Reno priest? Control paladin got nothing new this expansion. Control warrior loses to every Reno decks. I wonder why there are not many control decks out there.

Aggro decks become less popular/not as strong = control decks no longer have to tech to be super anti aggro and thus they stand a much better chance vs jade druid. Mage can go for the burn plan and warlock can go for the early mountain giant/drake + shambler and hopefully be lucky enough to get an early jaraxxus. I've beaten plenty jade druids with my warlock deck now - it really isn't that bad of a matchup. The only matchup really bad is control warrior, but I've even created a super greedy "control" warrior that destroyed jade druid.

played against an amazing deck today that done pretty well against aggro shaman and pirate warrior what do you guys think, its a jade avianna deck that combos avian into the king that refreshes your mana then plays malygos for 1 mana and attacks the opponent with moonfire moonfire, living roots, ivving roots, swipe, he also plays gadegtzan auctioneer for 1 mana if he doesn't have his combo to effectively draw into it and to top it all off he plays the Old God that casts a spell for every spell cast! really fun deck to play against and watch (i spectated for about an hour) we were both in legend and it held up well against nearly all meta decks. Any thoughts?
Just fought a Renolock at level 18 on Standard ladder named "Kripp" pretty sure it wasn't you, because as he won he spammed Thank You like 5 times. Really great healthy gameplay we got right there.
I was playing my Jade Ramp deck and had already played a few low end Jade cards, so my opponent must've thought I was more standard Jade with lots of inconvenient battlecries. He pulled Rag out of my hand with Dirty Rat and immediately conceded. I mean he could've pulled Rag from just about any deck, but the other stuff in my hand would've been almost as bad for him.
yu-gi-oh first editions made many cards that discarded or changed the hand of the opponent. all those cards got immediately banned from all tournaments
i think it's a good card coz of it's mechanic -- one way to "counter" Battlecry. after all, we can silence deathrattle, etc, but not battlecry. but the card's got its risks...
Dirty Rat is a bit like Loatheb. It fucks with your opponent's *hand* directly and you have to be clever to use it well. This sort of thing should always be in HS because you get punished for playing a deck that everyone knows the contents of. The more unpredictable your deck is, the harder it is to use cards like Dirty Rat and Loatheb on you.
