Pan TheOrganizer what PSI is safe for a car. I have a 1500 PSI washer that has a dial that will lower the pressure, but I'm really not sure how low the pressure goes. Great video👍
Thanks for the comment Hayes! I mostly do high end cars and supercars, but my viewers wanted to see what could be done to an older economy class vehicle, so I listened and produced this video for them. I'm glad I did, as it seems to be appreciated.. :) How did you discover my channel?
You really brought back that shine! I love seeing old-ish cars given a new life with some great detailing. You definitely made this car worth a bit more money. Nice work.
Thanks Michael! Yup, it was even nicer seeing the smile on the 17 year teenage girl for who it's the first car. Her dad paid for the detailing to encourage her great work in school. Cool dad! So she was super happy and it will help extend the paint's life and brought back shine and gloss, all while receiving protection against the elements as well.

I really like the way you clean cars. It's the best way. I just need all those things you use. My back aches just seeing you do this though. It's hard work.
That's great.:-) I discovered it when I was searching how to remove grease from a car's wheel arch and paint work. After washing my mom's car I discovered that the right side of the car was full of tough grease spots and so too the wheel arches. It smelled like an oily substance almost and almost like a strong paint. I tried using a degreaser in the wheel arches but whatever was driven over just welded itself to it. I can get it off with some work but my back can't handle it. I bought a tar remover for the paint and tested it on a spot but it smelled so strong I thought it would damage the paint work. I then used a polish which also said it removes tar spots even though I don't think it was tar. It worked but it took a while. The paint is now smooth but it looks like it needs a proper detail. I haven't yet removed it from the wheel arches and underside of the car. I just don't really know how and what to use to make it easier. It is such a tough yet coarse substance. I wish I knew what it was. Sorry for the long reply. But basically I came across your channel searching for something similar to what happened on my mom's car. Thanks for the great and helpful videos. I really enjoy it.
+SDav21 For grease in the fender wells, you need a strong degreaser like Meguiar's Super Degreaser diluted 4:1 or Super Clean degreaser diluted 3:1 in water. You spray the product liberally in the wells, let it dwell for 4-5 minutes, then scrub with a fender well brush (Mothers makes a good one) and rinse off. That usually does the trick. Steam cleaning also does wonders. ;)

Very practical and ideal how-to video. Thank you so much for sharing! Speaking for myself, I'm not like a lot of these guys on UA-cam who have the extra cash to spend on high-end products. You've proven that maximum results can be achieved on an older car that's a daily driver and without the high-end products. Thanks again.

Pan thanks for all the videos you have done. You have motivated me to start my own mobile detailing. You are the only UA-camr that explains everything right. Thank you for everything
Looks amazing!! My husband has a 2006 Corolla and I would LOVE to restore his car. Quick question for you, you said you were going to restore headlight, plastic and interior. I didn't see it in this video and couldn't find another on your channel as a part 2. Am I missing. It? Or could you tell me the products you used in those steps? His headlights and plastic look pretty bad and I'd like to restore. Thank you for your time! Awesome videos!
Hi Brittany! Thanks for the comment. I couldn't show every single step otherwise the video would have lasted hours and people would have feel asleep lol. I'll keep the headlight restoration for a dedicated video later on. Depending on how bad the headlights are (oxydized, foggy, yellow, etc) you can either polish them with a polisher and the same compound and polish as the paint, but if they're heavily oxydized then you have to wet sand them first using two series of sanding paper (coarse and thin) and then compound and polish. It's a lengthy process. It's always refreshing to see women interested in auto detailing! :) How did you discover my channel?
Pan TheOrganizer I wouldn't have fallen asleep ;) Yes I love auto detailing, however It is something I am still learning much about. Like restoring paint, trim and headlights. After washing the car and the polish its enough to use all 4 weeks the "Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer. it has a high reputation! No wax needed anymore cause the detailer has a polymer-coatfinish which works over 2 months, longer than any wax in the sun or in the winter as well. The bottle with 750 ml costs here in Germany approx 12.95€ and is also perfect working as a 1:1 fluid with water. I polish twice a year my car with a standard-polish and "Sonax Brlliant Shine Detailer" after every second or third car wash. It takes 15min more to add the detailer after car wash. It saves time and money a lot. :) thanks for the informative vid and greetings from Germany :)
@@PanTheOrganizer I love using the Griot's brand and you did a video on the poly gloss where the water repel or beads up on ur BMW. I liked what I saw and how you payed attention to deep details so I never looked anywhere else when it comes to detailing a car. I go to ur channel
I was searching how to clay bar black paint, because I have a mazda 6 that needs to be clay barred. I saw the video you did on a BMW M3 and this one, and I was very impressed with your work.

Pan TheOrganizer I've been searching how to detail. I'm looking to start a mobile detail business and you were in my suggested videos to watch. I'm glad I did because your videos are great.
Glad to see a detailing video for an older car, seems like most detailing videos out there are for cars that are almost new. My daily driver is a 17 year old BMW with original paint and a ton of rock chips, but I still try to keep it looking good with regular detailing.
+Danny's Garage Thanks Danny! My viewers were interested in seeing me working my magic on a car older than 10 years so it was a cool video to do because it's rare that people spend hundreds on having an older economy car professionaly detailed. How did you discover my channel?

Looks good and great detail. Exposed rust on the steel rims not covered by the wheel covers, easily pop off the caps and spray paint with black paint. easy to do .

I have a black car with white spots on the hood and the front of the fenders I have tried clay bar and ironX and still have no luck. they are not paint chips. Also I have polished and waxed. Do you have suggestions?
Pan TheOrganizer You're vids started poping up on my recommended list. I watch a lot of car and detail related content. Based on some of your other vids I've seen I'd say you might be in Canada. If so thats always nice to see! Keep it up!
This is sooo therapeutic. I immediately went in the garage to see what all I needed to buy. Because you have sooo many steps but you are doing them sooo fast proving you are good at what you do and I like detailing my car this deep because people eyes 👀 will hurt because of how wet and shiny it looks after. These are not just some soap and water then bye 👋🏽. How often do or should you polish a car? Is it once a week, month or every six months.

I replaced the carpet in my 07.
Also added insulation in the floors.
Definitely helped lessen road noise.
Another great job! I really enjoy watching your videos. They're always well done and helpful!
Thanks !!!! :)
Thanks and greetings from Canada!
You should of gave us the paaaaaan lol great video

There is something therapeutic about watching a car getting cleaned.
Yeah I get that a lot. Even when I'm detailing I feel relaxed. I have to focus so much on the task at hand, that I forget about everything else...

I remember my first car was over 20 years old. For me this is still a new car.
how much do you suppose you could charge for a service like this?
great technique. thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't discuss prices on UA-cam as too many factors play into pricing.

Glad to see a detailing video for an older car, seems like most detailing videos out there are for cars that are almost new. My daily driver is a 17 year old BMW with original paint and a ton of rock chips, but I still try to keep it looking good with regular detailing.

Thanks Danny! My viewers were interested in seeing me working my magic on a car older than 10 years so it was a cool video to do because it's rare that people spend hundreds on having an older economy car professionaly detailed.

Pan The Organizer, is it safe to apply sealant and wax on glass, headlights, and taillights? Thanks!
Yes

I have a black car with white spots on the hood and the front of the fenders I have tried clay bar and ironX and still have no luck. they are not paint chips. Also I have polished and waxed. Do you have suggestions?
They might be calcium deposits (water spots). Have you tried spraying CarPro Spotless? That's a water spot remover and works great. amzn.to/2uQHeip
Pan TheOrganizer no I haven't but I suppose that will be the next thing I try. Thank you for your suggestion!

Once every 6 to 12 months is ok.
Time flies! I can remember my dad owning the same Corolla when I was 2-3 years old. I am 13 now! I also subbed, I used to watch the CarGuru the guy who washes cars.

On step 4 decontamination using the iron fallout after moving the car in the garage and after your final rinse at 3:28, did you dry the car before using the iron fallout? It looked dry during that step?
You can use the iron removers on dry or wet paint it doesn't really matter. To be more efficient, I typically apply iron removers on wet paint.
