It’s good seeing a Muslim man talk to thr Muslim youth in a language they can relate to. Most of us can’t listen to these 40 year olds telling us about the religion in a way we already know but can’t relate to because of the circumstances. @@onlyallahisworthyofworship5599 No one is arguing that they're 'kids' from a biological perspective. Yes, you have the capacity to impregnate a girl, but that doesn't make you a man capable of handling responsibility and fulfilling certain duties as a husband or wife. Most 16 yearolds nowadays, and i'd argue people in their mid 20's, still live with their parents and have no understanding of responsibility to the degree that people of old did. Not to mention that life expectancy was much lower back then. People in their mid-late 20's were basically approaching middle age at that time, whereas our 'middle age' is 30-40. Times are changing, and that includes the age at which we are expected to marry. The yardstick for marriage should not be based on age, but rather physical maturity, mental maturity, finances, imaan among other more superficial variables.

This is pretty good advice Masha Allah. Also, I definitely agree with women having more patient standards for younger men as opposed to older men! Personally, I never felt more mature than men my own age (and I still like the idea of marrying someone younger than me if possible). Though whenever I try to measure up between a younger guy and older guy, I can believe in the idea of "potential" more with a younger guy who I could motivate. As opposed to an older guy who settled into below average mediocrity, especially as others within his age group could be more plainly seen to be more advanced

You could have also touched on how very young couples grow up through their marriage and often grow apart too ! I married very young ! AlhamdoLillah I am still married as a result of hard work and perseverance mainly . But I often feel that my son who is very young and hormonal should hold out and not marry young . Your video has made me think and reconsider my view . The challenges that the youth face now in this increasingly sexualised society are even greater than before . I guess if we become an obstacle in their desire for nikaah , then there is high chance of them falling into zina . It really is a double edged sword I guess .
Keep making the videos. You’re doing a great job AlhamdoLillah

This the best one I’ve seen yet! I think you did great! Marrying young is the best! When your intentions are pure n clean good will always come out of it! N advising others to get married young is good ! If they do wait a bit maybe they should take that time to do background checks on the girls family and upbringing ? Coz at the age of 16 we really wouldn’t care much about it but when u live with the girl and notice certain issues u realise their upbringing and family have a huge effect on how she will be with you n ur kids unless you think you are capable of moulding her into good shape n she will change coz she’s young … a dysfunctional family upbringing can damage a persons mental health which has a effect for life no matter how much you think u can fix it ! You simply can’t! When we was young our parents would tell us marrying into a good family is important we’d say we marrying the person not their family! N brush it off, but it actually is important n as 16 years olds we won’t understand that! Until years later you Open your eyes and see why she is the way she is and by then it’s all such a mess and too late to fix :-(

Even Mufti Menk said your advice is what was advised back then, but now there are relatives who definitely not close to each other and are complete opposites. Many of us now grow up in broken households and yes we are broken men/women, but some are still doing their best to stay on the guided path and their family members are a big test/hinderance to them yet they still nanage to their best to be amongst GOD's righteous servants striving on his path.

Being the last born out of 7 siblings, I was the only one abused mentally, physically and emotionally by my family. They even put down 4 of my marriage proposals as they didn't want me to get married before my two elder sisters who were not married at that time. Alhamdulillah this last proposal Allah made it happened even when they wanted to put it down too. They actually followed me to where I got married and they wanted to ruin the marriage to reach divorce. But Alhamdulillah Allah still kept us together. It took me years to put myself back again from the scratch mentally, physically and emotionally. I'm still struggling to cure my uterus to have Children. I realised they damaged my health completely. I was to get married when I was 22 but I ended up getting married at 34. Alhamdulillah I'm now keeping on fine as I got a man who really understands my situation and he doesn't rush me to get kids until I'm in a good health. Allah will pay back to all wrong doers ☝️

@@susanna9831 absolutely not true. Sure that happens but you are just generalizing. Many middle class upper class families I know married young. Parents are rushing to become grand parents early and the whole family takes care rearing the kids, so no need for nannies or any kind of outside help. I know someone married at 16 with his wife 15, by 21 they had three kids with fourth on the way. The grand parents in their late 30s of course pretty young themselves so the parents don't have to stress when taking care of the kids. Oh and they are middle class with a much higher quality of life than a middle class family in the US.
Now this doesn't happen often in well off families since they trying to focus on careers first but the parents will force you at times to marry early. This way the grand parents take care of the kids will the parents go to college.

"It's over for zoomer brothers" LOOOOOOL
I haven't been to Uni but hamdulillah have managed to create a 6 figure business in that time so I'm doing well at my age (23). I avoided riba and the potential of ending up in zina somewhere along the line. Some things happen for a good reason. I tend to agree that what I generally see on social media is not encouraging. A lot of Muslim girls are adopting the liberal mindset, have completely abandoned hijab and have no shame in committing tabarruj. Most of them don't even come close to being suitable candidates as strong Muslim mothers and wives. It is a difficult time for us, may Allah make it easy for us and strengthen us in both imaan, physicality and material wealth.

Age is irrelevant. You should not get married until Allah and His messenger ﷺ are more important to you than yourself and any other person or thing.
Allah was barely mentioned in this video. Muhammad ﷺ was not mentioned in this video.

Subhanallah it makes me think of the poor sisters who were taken advantage of and other words I'm not allowed to use according to utube, in childhood for example and so more and more filthy men hunting them like their uncles, their fathers friends brothers friends and they're getting passed around. Fear Allah ﷻ al will be held accountable Alhamdulilah
