For anyone interested: I added a pacified pillager inside the tower with the villagers and it more than doubled the rates.
What's a pacified pillager
@@rvspbxri1342 if you get a pillager to break his crossbow, he will be pacified and will stop attacking you or the villagers.

@@rvspbxri1342 when pacified, the pillager won't attack the villagers but he will stil scare them. When villagers are afraid they summon iron gollems. So instead of producing one gollem every minecraft day, the farm produces gollems through the whole day.

Omg so right! I was thinking it might not give any ways to bring the villager up there but, boom there he goes. He even made it into a small tower, it's so good for beginners.

ive had a few iron golems die already but how would you know if the iron was being collected or not?
this looks amazing i was just looking for an irom farm in my mp server, it really just works for 1.17+? my server is 1.16.1 :c
for the longest time i was a no iron farm purest i wouldnt build one i thought it was cheap (didnt care if anyone else used them do you idc lol) but since deep slate takes like twice as long to mine and you cant just get enough iron to replace tools you use while mining deep im very seriously considering making them because stone picks with deep slate is the fastest way to go insane

Golems mostly spawn on the ground. They rarely spawn at the top of the tower.

The build looks fantastic. I want to try to replicate it in my game.
But that is so many hoppers. I wonder if they can be replaced with a few blocks of water that flush the dropped iron down to the bottom of the tower. Then you might only need three or four hoppers instead of millions 😅
I also wonder if the villagers can be given jobs to make them more useful for trading and so on. That might not be feasible with the need to minimise spawnable blocks, unless you put pressure plates everywhere.
So I did it.
My tower started of very similar to Foxel's, but a little wider on top to accommodate job blocks for the villagers. I can even use it to breed new villagers if necessary.
My water flush idea kind of worked, but some of the iron got lost somewhere on the way down, just getting stuck in something until it despawned. I ended up just using the column of water as an elevator so I could easily get up and down, and using one hopper and chest near the top of the tower.
My verdict, Foxel's looks nicer and was easier to build too 😅
Next time I'll just keep my villager trading hall separate.

Just built this on my Xbox and on 1.18 and it doesn’t seem to be working? Are there any obvious things I might have done wrong?

i wish the water tunnel was explained. luckily i had a friend who knew how to do it.

How does the water thing work? What is that? Is it soul sand at the bottom or something? So I'd need to get that in the nether?
Forget water.. Use stairs. It's easier. Just don't forget to put 2block walls so the villagers can't run away from u.. Hehe he..
The only problem is that when you switch to peaceful mode, zombie despawns forever, even with the nametag.
Hey one question, So some golems spawned and died already but i looked in the chests and no iron, so is it possible that it burned in lava, if yes how could I prevent this, and if no do you maybe know why there is nothing?
Maybe it got stuck in one of the hoppers of chests and the hoppers might not have been connected probably you might want to check that first

I built this today been trying anything and everything to get it to work as it’s so beautiful but unfortunately no iron golems have spawned be sat there for hours and nothing, I’m bedrock 1.18

1,2,3,4 or 5 iron in 1 day
1 day = 20 minutes
That means we'll get 1,2,3,4 or 5 iron in 20 minutes.

Farm doesn't work, 1.19.4
The farm works pretty well, but I have a question, iron golems are spawning outside of the rooftop, how can I fix that? I have tried leaving the top of the roof exposed, but most of the time, iron golems spawn outside. Eventually, iron golems walk themself to the lava, but I think thats not the correct function of the farm, what can I do to fix this problem?
You probabbly have spawning spaces on the roof, that's why you need the pressure plate on top of every full block on the roof, so nothing spawns there

@@undefined3571 You're welcome! You can put pressure plates, buttons, half slabs, anything that blocks spawning. Hopefully everything will work just right for you!
