Poor Janis. You could hear the pain in her voice. I'm sure she never had it easy. She wasn't beautiful but she had a powerful voice. It's sad that she only got to see fame and love for a little bit.

Nominated one of the ugliest ppl in school (Worsened more by her intolerance for sexism and racism/segregation among her peers and school)(Taken advantage of by many men while inhibited who only wanted sex when all she really wanted was the god fearing white picket fence quiet content life. But despite that she seemed to only fit in with hippy beatnik druggy culture and kept getting sucked back into toxicity every time depression fell upon her once again. The last straw was when her fiancé (de blanc) love of her life Cheated on her and had families with multiple other woman and called off their marriage. She was going to school and working but fell back into the culture of drugs and music as a crutch. It’s sad because it really seems that there were really two sides to her, the broken and the beautiful….shortly after she died young in her early twenties from drug over dose
